《Break Me {Book one}Bwwm (Editing)》I will find you

My emotions sky rocketed as I turned the brass door knob open. My hands molded into the brass."kyo" I whispered knowing he could hear. My feet made an audible noise against the carpet. I could smell his piney woods scent through the wolf scent mixed in the house. "Kyo" I screamed startling several wolves that passed me. "He's in there" one stray said pointing to the second door on the right. I nodded in appreciation before knocking.
"Yes," a voice called. It was kyo's but muffled. "Where are my papers? The ones you hid in your jacket?" Silence. " nothing gets passed you" the door swung open revealing a half naked kyo whom was only covered by the towel around his waist. I looked away from his glistening muscles and six pack. Did the wolves have any shame? 'I take it you wasn't them back?" "Yes I would" "so your serious about finding him" kyo asked.
I felt a hand slip around my waist pulling me into his room. I was surrounded by darkness as kyo slipped by me. He pointed to the stack on his table. "You know there's a reason for me being a beta" " what is that?" I asked sitting at the table. His room remained dark as he went into his closet. I could see my brothers profile his name was the first thing on the page. "Charity Attlee" I whispered.
I smiled warmly remembering he hated his name."instead of writing it down so it could be found." Kyo struck a match bringing it to the cigarette in his mouth. " so he asked me to tell you, not everyone is trustworthy." He glanced at me. "Even yourself" he raised an eyebrow. "That man possessed you a moment ago didn't he" he said it as a statement not a question." How did you know?" "I walked in on it. The smile you gave, tipped me off" I stared at the papers reading through them. " Someone is here"he growled. "That's impossible!" "No it's not" kyo strode across the room hitting a large button in the middle. An alarm blazed sending the wolves into a frenzy. Kyo concentrated no doubt commanding the wolves. "Do you fight?" Kyo asked me. " yes" I choked. "Good"

The window shattered the glass going every where." Look alive" kyo growled. The cracking Of bone filled my ears as fur erupted from kyo's skin. His body trembled as a massive wolf took over. Kyo stood as tall as me his shaggy black hair silver in the light of the moon. His eyes glowed a deep brown in wolf form. I stood getting behind him. My lessons had to prove useful at times like these. I released my fangs letting out the urge to kill. My eyes turned a dark crimson. "Vampires" I whispered feeling their presence knowing they could feel mine. Twelve flooded the room. " hello, my queen we are here to save you" a tall man stepped forward. He spoke in fluent Romanian. He smelled of the royal court. "Answer me who sent you?!" I hissed. "Our orders are to remain a secret your highness. The highest authority made it so" he answered bowing. I bared my fangs, this wasn't lances attack. He would make sure that he was the one who came to get me. This had to be her doing. " are you willing to come willingly?" He asked. I nodded stepping forward. Kyo looked at me stepping in my path. I pushed his head out of the way going to the man. He held out a hand I took it."did this order be given to you as leader?" "Yes" I smiled. I closed my eyes sending a wave of energy from my body. The walls cracked as the ceiling began to cave. I knocked them all backwards as they stumbled.
Broken glass and furniture laid at my feet. I lunged forward grabbing a jagged piece of kyo's bed. The room glowed an ominous red as i quickly asessed every movement in the room. One move was all it took to be staked by me, and one by one they began to move. Swiftly and efficiently i killed everyone but one the man who took my hand. I held the stake to his neck. "Tell me who sent you!" I growled. He struggled against me, i silently cursed that i was smaller than he was and my hold on his neck was wavering. To my suprise his hands reached behind him grabbing what little of hair i had left. I screamed my hold losening giving him the advantage of throwing me over him. I landed like a cat on my feet growling at him. Kyo shook his head finally coming out of the haze of my movements. He lunged regaining what i lost. He through the man on the ground grinding his foot into his stomach.

He had him pinned easily his paws on his shoulders pressing all his weight on him. He growled lowly baring his teeth. The man looked unphased. Kyo nodded his head towards me. Quickly i ran over to him raising the make shift steak over his head. I could see blood pooring out of his nose its color dark and close to black as it poored out into the air. The man looked at me with his hardened Emerald eyes. "Who sent you!" we sat in silence before he rolled his eyes. "Elizabeth" he whispered.

A Mildly Odd Reality Breaker
Omar receives an unexpected visitor who comes baring a gift—a "registration ticket"—in the form of a small metal card. The ticket is itself an offer to participate in the game, "Reality Break." Accepting this offer means that Omar will be able to perceive the true nature of reality where there is not one, but two dimensions of time, and in this second dimension history changes (and somewhat "frequently"). Along with this, he will also gain access to the "chronopause"; another reality that is not so much parallel to our own as it is perpendicular, which acts as both a place and the natural boundary between non-sequential points on the timeline. Using the chronopause, Omar will become a chrononaut with the ability to travel through time, and as a player, he will be given a cybernetic interface and his own portable extradimensional storage space. It's a strange conversation, but due to Omar's dismally short attention span, he only consciously hears that last bit about the portable pocket space, and that's only after the physics-defying void is opened in his living room and literally waved in front of his face. Reality is certainly stranger than most people realize, but then again, so is Omar. Thankfully, he responds well to shiny things, and for better or for worse, his chronic inattentiveness is the least of his psychological issues. Omar also has a mild form of "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which presents itself as an occasional, arbitrary need to disobey others (especially authority figures). However, his oddest psychological issue by far is his "abnormally hyperactive" subconscious mind. Outwardly and consciously, Omar is a lazy, apathetic man-child prone to mildly asinine behavior. Subconsciously, he's some sort of genius capable of extraordinary feats of cognition. Most of the time, Omar is a (technically) functioning adult, but in order to live as such, he must rely entirely upon unusual abilities he's completely unaware of, despite the fact that he uses them regularly. Up until now, his life had merely been ridiculous, but now it was also a game. Note: The narrative style is that of a reliable narrator with a "3rd-person sarcastic" POV. This story takes place in the Reality Breakers/Chronopause universe.

The Designated: Out of Control
It happened quicker than anyone would have imagined. Multiple hurricanes were one thing. People had dealt with that in the past. But, like kids playing dominoes, one thing crashed into another. Areas affected by hurricanes needed resources all along the Gulf and East Coasts drew rescuers and resources away from other parts of the country. When wildfires lit up the Pacific coast and mid-west, those areas were already understaffed. Driven by hurricanes in the Pacific basin, uncontrolled wildfires burned through towns, destroying everything in their paths. Across the Pacific, Asia didn't escape. From the Philippines, across China, into Indochina, and Bangladesh and India. Typhoons and cyclones pounded the coasts and far inland. Widespread flooding forced millions from their homes and across international borders. Mexico was hit hard and thousands died in mudslides as Katia slammed into their East Coast. The refugees fled north and west. Rumours started that hundreds of thousands were headed for the US border. Instead of running out of steam in the southern US, several hurricanes tore up the eastern seaboard, devastating cities and renewing their strength before veering east across the Atlantic. Maria and Ophelia veered east and slammed into Europe, reaching as far as the Netherlands and Russia before finally dissipating. After that, too many weather stations were offline to provide any form of co-ordinated information or warnings. Wildfires in Portugal burned ahead of the storms, fanned by hurricane winds. They sparked wildfires leapfrogging across Europe, beyond any one country's ability to cope. Already uneasy from multiple terrorist attacks over the summer, anti-refugee groups seized the opportunity to stage protests across Europe. Some turned violent as they clashed with police forces. Several governments declared martial law to quell the rioting and enforce evacuations along the path of the storms. Rumour and speculation overwhelmed facts. Unrest spilled over into widespread violence. Then sickness broke out in the displaced populations. Within a matter of a dozen weeks, tens of millions died. In the coming winter months hundreds more would follow. The Designated Project was activated.
