《Break Me {Book one}Bwwm (Editing)》Demon of My Dreams

My hands gripped the arms of my seat. The soft plush brushed my palms calming me. Why the hell did I let Eric talk me into riding this contraption? was it safe? A warm hand covered mine as the plane began to move. My head hit the small window with an audible thud. I frowned realizing I'd cracked the window. Slowly, I pulled away from the defective window, placing my hand on the glass. Closing my eyes, I focused on restoring the broken glass. Only when I felt the glass smooth under the tips of my fingers did i pull away.
The windows cool glass frame calmed the awkward breaths I took. The warm hand squeezed mine gently."Calm down my queen." Gabriel whispered. His large hand doubled mine. I wished Lance were beside me instead of this wolf. The thought of him ever being close to me again had long passed since I escaped the castle. He will want me dead. I have defied him to the point of leaving his country and left the throne. Most importantly I have left him.
I left the only man I could ever love. I hurt him to the point of despair with my actions toward Eric. I loathed seeing his face as he pieced together my fake affair. I started most of the arguments we'd had. I closed my eyes moving my hand away from the wolfs. I touched my cheek. I missed his touch. I missed the heat coursing through my veins when we were in the room together. "Sleep my Angel." A soft voice crooned in my head. I listened letting darkness over take me.
My eye lids fluttered as I awakened. The heaviness of slumber had gently receded back into the unknown depths of whence it came. I stared in awe at the room before me. It was the same room I had wanted Lance to build in the castle for me. Instead he insisted our bedroom to remain the same. I gaped at the golden colored walls with the modern paintings.

The bed was perched on a pedestal the canopy a deep crimson color. I glanced down at the matching sheets running my hands along the velvet comforter embroidered with gold stitching. The big black screen Gabriel called a television sat in full view of the bed. I had no idea what it was the first time i had seen it, but i knew i wanted one.
Thousands of candles circled the bed liting it as if were an alter. I heard a slight chuckle from the corner of the room. I gasped at Lance's tall silhouette in the candle light. Almost immediately my body warmed as i gazed at his strong muscular shoulders. This feeling was foreign to me seeing as i had tried to make myself believe i had loved Eric to make the ploy more believable.
But Eric could never compare to Lance when he entered the room. He came closer to where the candled became a path way up the stairs of the bed. Lances bare muscles flexed in the light as he wore only his black jogging pants. My fangs slid through the gums of my closed mouth almost making me bite my lips. I clutched the sheets as he drew closer to bed. His arms touched the bed first before his legs as he slinked toward me as if he were a cheetah. His pale arms glowed in the light his flawless skin looking delectable as he came forward.
He was in front of me on all fours as his midnight eyes stared deeply into mine. I closed my eyes trying to take in his dreamed scent. I mustered everything i could to remember his scent. I felt his hand brush my cheek. I gasped my fangs quivered feeling the air. "So you are still connected to me." He whispered almost to himself other than me. "Tell me Angel where are you going?" His forehead touched mine.
"To...to- A..." I stopped myself what was i going to say? Was i really about to give myself up this easy? to Elizabeth's son. I pulled away from him collecting myself . "'Come on My Angel, tell me?" he crooned kissing my cheek. I moaned as my arms gave out. I felt myself fall onto the sheets, he smiled looking down at me. His hair falling into his face his full red lips tempting my eyes. "I refuse to let you hinder my escape." "Come now my angel, I only want to make sure your okay." He whispered leaning down.

"I am in my prime. Thanks for your concern" "Yes, Angel. I want to see you. I want to touch you." He laid his head on my stomach. I stopped breathing at his touch. "I will not come back." "You will come back, Angel. Even if I have to bring you back in chains. You. Will. Come. Back." he growled. "Everyone knows I escaped." He smiled as he straightened himself. "No, you are kidnapped, by wolves. Everyone wants the substantial award for..." His eyes sparkled as he thought of a better word.
"Finding my beloved Queen." My eyes widened. The entire kingdom after me! No i expected that in some form that's why the wolves were to protect me. Though i still had yet to know if they would continue now that Eric was gone. "Surrender now and i promise i will be less violent when i come for you."I stared at him in disbelief "What do you mean when i come for you?" I repeated him. He smiled his fangs showing perfectly in his white teeth. "I. Am. Coming.To. Find. You." he whispered kissing the bridge of my nose. Fear stirred within me as the moments of desire left. Was this insane creature my husband?
"Oh yes, my Angel. I am coming for you. I told you when we met that my passed is full of how should i say, Angel. Darkness but then again i never elaborated on it. I should let you know i am a very gifted tracker." He played with hair which was now its original length in the dream. Seeing as he wanted me to look the same as which i had left him hours ago.The only thing that had changed was that i was now wearing a black satin night gown.
" Whatever you are planning my Angel. You have less than a month to do before I find you."
"What makes you so sure you will find me" He smiled
"Your scent is the strongest to me no matter how many hours have passed. Our hearts and minds are connected. you will know when I am near this sweet frame of yours." I stared at him in fear and attraction. This was a powerful combination seeing as it was battling with my morals.
"Oh, for future reference. I will kill any man who i have even consider has touched this body of mine, of yours" He corrected grinning evilly.
"Lance, no-" He kissed me stealing the breath from my body. I groaned as his body pressed against mine. His fingers laced hungrily in my hair as he broke the kiss. I gasped before letting out a loud moan. I clutched his bare back raking my claws on his flesh. He hissed though it wasn't from pain, it was from pleasure. "Damn it" he growled as he licked my neck. "I was wrong you have less than a month two weeks" "No please don't look for me" i moaned.
" But I have to my Angel. I love you and our un-" "We ask that everyone please lift the table to the read-" I cut off the methodical words of the plane woman. I looked at Lance frantically. "Your flying" he smiled. He pulled away turning his back towards me. "See you in my dreams my love. We will be together shortly" The dream began to fade from view as i felt a hard shake to my shoulder.
What was Lance about to say?

Shades of the Moon
I'm rewriting this story! I have taken down Arc 2 and Arc 3 already to avoid spoiling my new novel. The only reason I'm keeping the first 10 chapters is nostalgia; the writing is awkward and the story is not plotted out properly, but it's here if anyone wants to compare it to the new one. If you'd like to read a more professionally written version of this story, I highly suggest checking out my Synergy. Synopsis version too-many-to-count: “I see,” Kiona said. “But . . . you’re changing once again, aren’t you?” The entity considered her question, lifting a clawed hand towards the night sky. They observed the back of their hand idly, watching the glowing orange veins pulse alongside their pitch-black exoskeleton. The wind picked up right then, and Kiona shivered—just as much from the cold as from the savage grin on the creature's face. “That’s right,” the entity said, clenching their hand slowly into a fist. They let out a quiet laugh, staring defiantly at the Moon as it rose from behind the clouds. “We are shades, yet not exactly. Not like the others. Here, in this world, we've become something more. We are the Shades of the Moon.” There was a heartbeat of silence, during which Kiona joined the entity in their skygazing. The light-green Moon loomed over the city, shining like the entity's eyes. It promised otherworldly knowledge and terrible secrets. It promised progress. It promised change. In that moment, Kiona couldn't have imagined anything more beautiful. “Shades of the Moon, huh?” she said, smiling a bit. It had a nice ring to it.
