『sometimes you have to accept without understanding.』
The next morning There's a quick knock at the door before it opens completely. "Deku?" Aizawa says seeing if the boys up yet or not.
After see the boy awake he speaks again. "Will you eat breakfast today?" The question brings Izuku out of his thoughts, looking to Aizawa who is stood arms crossed leaning on the door frame. He looks mildly bored that the boy is still refusing to eat. He's refusing to even touch his food. The white haired boy looks absolutely petrified every time the topic is even brought up. Aizawa ignored it for a day or so but now he's putting his foot down.
Safe to say Aizawa has had enough. He's not pressuring the boy to talk but he can't let the kid starve.
Izuku's been putting off having to eat, or interact with anything really, by simply sleeping or fake sleeping. In his condition Izuku can easily get away with it. A strange almost Dissociative state of mind that makes time seem so short. Yet all his movements so incredibly slow. It's almost painful as he hears everything far off and muffled like it's under water.
Everything slows down to an excruciatingly slow, patronising pace. It freaks Izuku out, and everything loops and repeats but he can never escape. He can cover his ears but the voices just get louder. It's scary and he doesn't like it yet he finds no reason to stop. It's a bad thing to do, Izuku knows this yet he doesn't want to stop, not just yet anyways.
Sadly he wasn't quick enough today and Aizawa managed to catch him awake and off guard. Using the
opportunity to throw food at the boy and watch him suffer till he eats. Because you know Aizawa is an adult. Adults love to see suffering. Or maybe that's just Aizawa? He'll find that out later.
Izuku however does not plan on doing as the adult wants. Or letting the man see he's won the battle. He's not doing it to be rude or disrespectful. That's not the kind of person Izuku is. And It's not so much as him being petty but quite frankly He doesn't even know if he can do this. Can he even physically eat? Is that something he should know, Izuku feels like it is. But so much has been happening that maybe eating isn't completely off the table.

After a short staring contest, that Izuku easily wins. Not having to blink as a ghost comes in very handy, especially when you are up against the best eye related quirked hero. Who had been trained to not blink let him add. To be fair Aizawa put up a good fight of 3 minutes before having to tap out. He blames his dry eyes. Izuku takes that as an excuse. Can someone please get this man some eye drops.
In defeat the man sighs rubbing his head and eyes to relax a little. The boys situation hasn't worsened but his condition hasn't improved either. Aizawa wonders if he'll ever be what's considered the healthy kid he should be. But not eating won't help the recovery. "Kid you've been way too long without eating food. You have to eat." Aizawa says. It's short and it's snappy. Pushing his point across perfectly.
Izuku on the other hand just shakes his head refusing to comply. Dead people don't need to eat and Izuku feels no hunger, no thirst, no nothing really. He's still trying to figure out, the whole feeling thing, hopefully he'll have it down soon. But he can think about that later.
"Eat. Now." The black haired man says. He tries to sound intimidating And he easily does. It works perfectly on Izuku making him shake a little under the harsh glare.
He's partly glad he's in the bed because he's sure he'd try and float way if not. And he really wants to float off. Even so Izuku still refuses to touch the food. He stays put on the bed looking to the side. He doesn't even want to look at it.
The small boy knew he would have to deal with this eventually. It wasn't realistic to think he'd be able to avoid it for ever. Still a small part of him hoped it wouldn't happen. It's one of the main problems he thought of when deciding to hide the fact he is indeed dead. Actually no he isn't hiding it. Just not outright saying it. It's still a sore subject. The other problem is the fact he can't really interact with much. Hence why he's not looking at the breakfast Aizawa is shoving in his face.

Still if he were to pass as a child he'd have to eat or have a good excuse for not eating. As much as he'd like to please Aizawa by scoffing down the food, Izuku himself can't guarantee that he could eat anything and he doesn't want to find out. Not while Aizawa is hawk staring him. The boy can't even tell if he's able to touch the food.
He has been stuck in the bed which at the moment is the only thing other than the sofa he can fully interact with. And is also helping to keep him grounded, literally. Whenever he moves he doesn't touch the floor instead floats about a foot above it. His feet staying solid instead of fading to nothing, same with his hands and arms. A little transparent but clearly visible. It just makes him look pale. He also just phases though walls like he usually can. No problem, no changes, no new affects of death.
"Why won't you eat?" Aizawa says fed up at the boy spacing out. His voice turns softer as he walks further into the room. He's clearly frustrated and confused at the child like behaviour but his tone holds hidden worry that sends guilt streaming through Izuku. "Aizawa please-" Izuku tries to explain. Trying to think of excuses or lies. "No I'm not leaving until you eat." Aizawa cuts in. If Izuku will be childish so will the 32 year old.
"But I can't!" Izuku finally gives in and shouts out. His eyes are screwed shut and his hands closed tightly into fists. His white bangs cover his face as he lens forward.
It's not very loud but it's definitely not his usual volume and shocks Aizawa all the same. "S-sorry." The boy apologises, sheepishly turning to the older man. "I-I'm sorry.... it's just this quirk." Izuku makes a weird noice like a sigh and grunt forming a frustrating combination of them all.
"I-it's hard to explain but I can't eat. O-or drink. It just goes straight through me." He says gesturing with his hands. He shies away from the mans quirked eyebrow. And falls down the bed further towards the end.
He worries if he said too much or if Aizawa will be able to piece together his story and figure him out. Oh he really doesn't want that-
"Kid that's more than enough information. Sorry I pushed you for an answer. Do you know why or should I ask a doctor-"
Izuku can't help but bursts out laughing. He doesn't mean to but it's hard not to at the misinterpretation. "Haha sorry- just haha no- not like that!" He giggles out. Aizawa tilts his head slightly in confusion waiting for the boy to give an explanation.
"Haha" Izuku tries to coughs. "No well- umm. Oh I have an idea! Okay I've been avoiding food since I'm not sure what will happen but, Maybe I just show you- can you please pass one of those gummy bear things and put it on my head. ah- before you say it! I know it sounds weird but just trust me. This should be the least messy option." Izuku blurts out. Before going off mumbling about more details to himself.
"Your head? Kid you eat food from your mouth." Izuku doesn't know if he's joking or not so he just nods waiting for Aizawa. "Fine." The man says reaching for the sweet before walking over to the boy. "On your head?" He confirmed. "Yep try not to touch me either." Cryptic Aizawa thinks. "Okay-" he stops still and stares. The sweet as soon as it left Aizawa's hand went Straight through the boy. Phased through it like nothing. Like they boys a mere hologram.
"Eek! That feels so weird." Izuku whines he holds his head, looking at the gummy that's now on the bed. "Deku-" Aizawa is cut off again by his phone. Izuku thanks whatever gods helped him out. He really didn't want to answer any questions on what just happened. He does however want to know who Aizawa is talking too.
Before he could ask, Aizawa had accepted the call and was walking out on him. For good measure he closed the door behind him.
'Rude' Izuku thinks. Welp good thing he's not a normal kid.

The Girl in the Abyss
Synopsis: The mysterious force known only as "God's Guidance" implemented a game-like system and rebuilt the planet using continents from five different worlds. Join Ellie, a young girl whose soul is filled with an ocean of love and trust. No matter how horrendous the circumstance or dreadful the suffering her kindness manages to shine through, but everyone breaks eventually. Watch as the horrors of reality slowly chip away at a pure soul until nothing but a monster remains and follow her down the path of despair as she finds a reason to live. ‘Our fate is one that always leads to suffering, but you can smile, I’ll shoulder everything else.’ Warning 1: This story covers very mature themes which I have listed here: Torture of a child (The MC is the victim), death, killing, slavery, and light gore. Nothing sexual ever occurs to the main character. Warning 2: This is another apocalyptic LitRPG, has a brokenly OP MC, bad writing, horrible grammar, and garbage sentence flow. It is my first attempt at writing a story since grade school. Inspired by my four favorite stories: Overlord, CLANNAD, The Arcane Emperor, and Tokyo Ghoul. A note by me: This is not a world domination story or an action story. There is fighting but it's not the focus. Another note by me: This is a work in progress. I’ll likely go back and change stuff a lot. The cover art is by a friend who has encouraged me since the start. Releases: Volume two will not be out anytime soon sadly. I apologize for the Hiatus.
