Chapter 13: Day 1

Kronos paced the ground in the ROW but made no move to flash to where Percy was, he had spent the night reading his Lover's personal diary, and was in on what the plan was. Sure he didn't like it, but that was life. It pained him, but Percy understood what was going on.

When he had became a Titan he had ruined the balance that had been there for millenia. Erebus had challenged him to a duel of the world, and he had nothing to do but honour the deal, even if he was scared to Hades and back.

Percy sat on the ground and sharpened his sword, a cloth with blood laid on the ground; it was covered in purple blood, that looked black, it was Erebus' blood, it had been from their last duel, the first day. He had won by simply jumping up and slashing his enemy through the middle of his body, drawing it deep with poisoned blade. Erebus had flashed away, making Percy win by a day.

Percy took out his sword, raised it and Atlas swung, their swords clashed a few times when the air quivered and Percy felt Ares join in the battle, they hit and ducked, it looked like they were dancing, moving back and fourth dodging, Percy was gaining his breath when Ares hit his neck drawing blood.

Gasping he called "time" and they paused.

The door to the Sparring room banged open, Kronos strode forwards in his fighting gear and motioned them forward.

"Again," Kronos called out and drew his scythe out, swung experimentally a few times then swung, stepping forwards and making Percy step back, Ares clashed his sword and they fought, calling Percy on his mistakes and them repeating it, making sure he was as perfect as they could get.

"Don't let your emotions cloud you, you need to look for all weakness your enemy might show."

Percy held his weapon with both hands and used his thoughts to control his powers breaking into a slight sweat as Kronos hacked at him drawing blood, Ares was striking at his left and he dodged only to be hit by a rock.

"Kronos!" Percy yelled and stared at the king.

"Again."

Swinging his sword Percy brought fourth water and made an ice shield, jumping up and backwards as Ares drew twin knives held them backwards and swiped. Atlas engaged him with powers and Percy felt his anger as he tried to battle his lover. The titan slowed time down an showed no mercy, his golden eyes hard, mind concentrated on training Percy, the fate of the world was on his shoulders.

"3pm Canada" Apollo said walking in, his eyes green.

"Percy, go eat, and rest, we have 17 hours until you fight, 2 more days," Kronos said and kissed Percy on his sweaty forhead.
