Chapter 8: Poseidon and Oath

Percy sat on his desk, legs kicking, he was bored, and it was a few hours until his oath to Othyrs and it's king. He would forever be bound to his lover in the ways of the Titans. They all took turns teaching him important history on what happened in many waters, themselves. Kronos childhood, and that was when they had time! They still where at war after all.

Nyx had joined up with Erebus and together They were the shadows that ruled, you know that birdbox movie? That was Erebus and his children wracking hovach, but that was only in certain parts of the world. Artemis protected many, Nike did things with her power, Hephastus made good weapons for what was left of Olympus.

The mortals were confining to be baffled by the martial disasters that went on in the world, and had mostly stopped fighting only to save them selves.

Percy trained to find his talents since his body settled on being a Titan.

So Percy was surprised when Poseidon walked in, his neck held a chain over it, it had emeralds and looked fancy. His eyes were lowered, he bowed and presented the plate to Kronos.

"Percy, Poseidon is your main servant, call him if you need him," Kronos smiled and plucked a grape off the platter.

Nodding Percy swallowed as all the Titans entered the dias area, kneeling down and rising when Kronos said, Percy knelt down now.

He fraught the kniffe: BlackFire, Kronos dagger/Kniffe and cut himself, ichor falling quickly, Percy began the oath, binded by blood, and time.

Poseidon stood in front of the Dias with a platter in his hands, this was so humiliating! But he couldn't do anything about it: His father owned him. He couldn't do anything, especially with the charm on him, the charm that marked him as a slave. That held his powers until he could be trained only to follow orders. He wasn't the only one Charmed.

Ares was as well, he was the footman for Atlas, the third in command besides his son. There were minor gods that were too, but he didn't know what ones, after all he wasn't really allowed in all the places in the castle.

He saw Annabeth dressed in skimpy clothes with a charm on as well, her eyes were broken and she had bruises on her face. It seemed as if some of the Titans had fun with her, but since she was a slave and couldn't do much about it. But that was mostly in the cells, Annabeth wasn't allowed up where he could wander.

Kronos was courting Percy, and Percy had taken the courtship with promise to stand forever beside Kronos, it had been done this afternoon. He had seen it, the pure joy as Kronos had accepted the oath.

Zeus sat on the floor with his head down, it was going to be his turn next… he could just feel it, it was as if the Fates were warning him. So he wasn't too surprised when the cell door was flung open and a Charm went on his neck, unresisting Zeus was dragged until they reached the Throne Room.

Poseidon was kneeling in between the thrones holding a platter full of food, Percy sat reading a book and not looking at anything that was going to happen, after all Kronos only had him present because it was power play, he wanted to gloat.

"Hello Zeus," Kronos said and stood up, his eyes wide with playful intent.

"Father" Zeus grounded out, his eyes staring defiantly at the Titan lord.

"Ares is such a good and loving devoted grandson… I wonder if his father is the same." Kronos sneered. "Would he give his servitude to the new King?"

Percy looked up at that point and nodded his head slowly; he sat on the edge of his throne awaiting Zeus' reply.

Gritting his teeth Zeus nodded, "yes milord."

Surprising everyone, in the room Zeus knelt, put his fist over his heart and gave a warriors pledge, his voice crackled with his power and it shone with his true intent.
