《A King Can't Rule Alone》Chapter 6: Surprise Surprise!

It was a few days later when Kronos came by, apparently I was in his room, he slipped in, slept and dressed then left before it was awake. He didn't seem to mind me lying on top of him, and other things when I was asleep, or when I screamed myself hoarse with nightmares. Kronos held me and told me it was okay: that nothing would hurt me ever again...
I was broken out of my thoughts when the door opened and the nymph held a tray in her hand, it contained, fruit, nuts and water. A strict diet that I was supposed to be on, small chunks of Ambrosia sat hidden by the water cup.
"Lord Kronos would like you to eat everything and for you to meet him in the Receiving room," the nymph smiled and walked out.
.
.
TRR was a large room with a long table, it held battle plans and little markers that lay the battlefield of New York and the surrounding areas.
"Percy, come in we need to talk." Kronos says, he moves over a frown gracing his face as he moves the one labelled 'troops' to another part of the board.
"Artemis escaped, as well as a few of the hunters she favours most of all," Kronos spoke grimly, his golden eyes flashed with annoyance. "What she doesn't know is what we are up against." The Titan said.
"What is it that you require of me, my Lord?" I can do this, for my family, Kronos may haven't 'killed' them, but he could and had no hesitation.
He had killed Ares, Apollo and Dionysus, let them reform and trapped them within the cells again, only to anger them as much as he could.
Realizing that Kronos had been silent too long, Percy looked to the king, his golden eyes were looking at him. Swallowing Percy ran a hand through his hair, hands shaking a tiny bit, he also ignored the butterfly in his stomach.
"What?!" Percy demands.
"Dress nicely, we are going out to eat, a normal night to do normal things." Kronos' gold eyes pierce into sea green. "Is that alright?"
"Normal" the newly immortal grins, his eyes flicker about.

"A date," Kronos clarifies.
Sea Nymphs played with my hair for a solid 20 minutes, they finally settled with my hair spikey, my clothes were modern with a hint of Greek. I felt too overdressed. But Kronos said to dress nicely since it was going to be a long night, but I had a feeling that it was going to be worth it. I may not let Kronos see it, but I was falling.
Places that weren't affected by the war were celebrating Chinese holidays. Red streamers were all over the place, Chinese music blared through speakers.
Hand in hand the immortals walked silently, both content without speaking. Kronos bought little trinkets that Percy seemed amused with, his eyes a soft golden colour.
"This is fun," Percy grinned and pulled them to the beach, his green eyes wide.
He felt powerful, and the lull of the waves, Poseidon's steady heartbeat reflected music only of the sea could hear. He brought his hands into Kronos slightly larger ones and began the dance, his bare feet on sand hitting water that was never cold and never got to him and he laughed.
He was breathless and Kronos let him pull him into an unfamiliar dance. Let him have control, They were moving faster and faster as Percy felt the sea's call. Missing his footing, Kronos yanked Percy along, both falling, Kronos on his back and Percy on top.
Freezing Percy looked down into golden eyes and decided to let himself fall, these strong arms would catch him, and with that in mind, he sealed it with a kiss. Hands going into curly wet hair, and legs straddled the other's abdomen.
"Kronos!" Percy gasped as he felt himself go lightheaded.
Chuckling the older Titan lifted him holding his waist, and locked their lips together.
.
.
.
Dinner was at a respectable restaurant, the doors were closed and Kronos said he had a reservation, leading his lover to the back corner were They would eat.
They were laughing and having fun when it got too dark, the clouds hiding the moon, and the shadows seemed impossibly long. That's when the doors burst open, a lady in a midnight robe, with her dark breasts showing, her ebony black hair cascaded down her back blowing in the unfelt wind, a Tierra sat on her head, a long pole was held in her left hand, she seemed to emit an unearthed beauty.

"Nyx" snarled Kronos his eyes a cruel gold.
Laughing a tinkling laugh the lady glided forwards her hips swayed, entrapping the mortals who drooled over her.
"Kronos my love! How are you?" She grinned her silver eyes twinkling in humour. "I come in peace with the white flag. Just came to talk." To prove her point she pulled a white handkerchief out of her robe and played it down on the table.
Kronos waved his hand and let the mist cover them and make the mortals forget about them momentarily.
"Talk?!" Kronos snarls and I scoot away. "Perseus, you may go for now. Iapetus will come to get you."
With a quick nod, I vapour travel and come out near the ocean. I am breathing heavily, I hadn't noticed Nyx's presence had affected me so much. I felt dirty with the dark tendrils instill felt on Me.
"Percy, how are you?" with a jump I see a man with the bluest of eyes and see through wind type of skin. Along with the stars on his cheeks and shoulders.
"Ouranos?" My voice sounds incredulous and scared even to my own self.
"Yes, child."
It is a voice I recognize, the one who was talking to me and the one that told me Kronos wasn't ready to see the future.
"Yes that is me, I needed to speak to you and my sister Nyx, or Nos as the Romans know them as.. Anyways: Gaea is falling, and you have to save Kronos. My son is very close to the edge, let yourself fall. Because I have come more than once and this is the prophecy that I got from Chaos:
"Shadows will come,
dark times will fall
and Time shall fall and
the Sea shall save, conquer.
At the right hand of The Titan Lord."
"Shadow is Nyx, she can't help herself the way she is and darkness is here, after all your dad and uncle are captured, are not they? And as for Time, my son will fall... but you will save them. Us the world."
I run a hand through my hair and sigh, I didn't want this I never wanted to be a hero, I never wanted to be betrothed to Kronos, because the Fates had decided that was my fate.
"Harder times will come, this is just the beginning."
With a flash of wind my great grandfather leaves me, the war is still on and the whole world depends on my answer. Aw, fuck, again!
.
.
.
"Perseus"
I look up and see the handsome Titan looking down at me. He looks tired, his clothes are torn and dried ichor is on his dress robes.
"What did Nyx want?" I demand and pat the bed.
The Titan groans and sits next to me. "Just wanted to talk."
The world depends on my answer, to save him, or destroy him." and I want to go for saving. My view changed I want to help everyone, am I just too selfless like that? Or was it my emotions playing a cruel game on me? After all, Kronos showed me a side of him tonightnindoubt anyone saw. He showed me he was capable of love and put my feelings first and cared about my options.
With a sigh I kneel and look into those beautiful cold golden eyes and lean down. Our lips touch and I moan, this was what I wanted, the longing sated for now. Our lips meet again, my breathing didn't matter, all that did was getting closer and closer as I could to Kronos.
He pushes up and flips us, my back hitting the matress, but I don't care, there is smoke and monster smelling and blood in the air, but I still don't care.
"Kronos, I -I can't breath!" I talk to him on the telepathic path. The Titan laughs and pulls back, his eyes are bright as Apollo's smile, and it blinds me.
"Sleep Perseus," Kronos says and lays down beside me, his eyes are on Me, just like mine are on him.
"Stay?" I whisper.
"Always."
