Things had been bad before, but now there were worse.

Things were bad enough when you liked Usnavi and he didn't like you back. So guess what you did? You went and made things worse.

Not only did you get mad at Usnavi for pretty much no reason, but you basically rejected his gift, then kissed him and ran away.

Why were you so good at messing up your romance life?

Maybe you and Usnavi were just not meant to be. Maybe having everything go wrong this whole weekend was a sign that you just aren't meant to be together.

Benny. What you needed right now was to be with Benny. You really hadn't spent any time with him these last few days, and right now, you really needed him.

As you were walking down the street, you see two figures talking in front of the Rosarios'.

You get closer, and see that it's Benny and Nina.

At first, you're kind of sad. Benny had a new girl in his life, and he didn't need you anymore. But you still needed him.

Then you realize how dumb that is. You and Benny will still hang out. He's just finally with the girl that he's loved for a long time. He deserves to be happy.

You smile, then walk by them quickly, not wanting to interrupt their romantic moment.

"Lemme take this moment just to say-"

"No, no-", Nina says.

"You are change the world someday!", Benny exclaims.

Nina grabs his hand. "I'll be thinking of home."

"And I'll think of you every night at the same time," they say together, gentle smiles on both of their faces.

"When the sun goes down," Benny says.

After that, you're too far away to hear anything else.

You realize that all you really wanted was what Benny and Nina had. You just wanted someone who loved you for you and would miss you when you were away. Who would always be there for you.

Of course, you had always thought that would be Usnavi, but maybe you'll find someone else.

At this point, you're just wandering aimlessly through Washington Heights, deep in your thoughts.

Of course, you'll miss Usnavi when he's gone. Even though he's never liked you romantically, he was one of your closest friends. You would really miss talking to him and hanging out and just seeing him every day.

And even if he never comes back again... that's okay. You guys are friends. And you're sure that you'll stay friends. You guys just never got the timing right. But you know what? It's okay. You're totally fine. Everything is gonna be totally-

You're snapped back into reality when you collide with something.
