After a couple days the two went on shore leave to Earth so both set of grandparents could meet the first grandchild on both sides. "James T Kirk come here you rascal!" Do you know who the mother is?" Jim looked a little, well unsure about that rather peculiar question, "My wife?" "Oh the Cornish kid," "I'm not a kid, Jim I can take her to your parents you chat with your friend. Oh and by the way I'm Gweynneth," she snapped taking little Rosenwyn from Kirk, "Easy Gwen no need to be snappy. Bye bye," they exchanged a few words in Cornish as they moved on from this little chat. "Where's my grand baby!" His mother yelled as she spotted Kirk, "She's right here Mrs Kirk," "What did you call her," "It was my idea Rosenwyn Chesten Doryty Congdon-Kirk," Jim said rather hurriedly, "Rosenwyn where on earth did you get that from?" "It's my middle name and my great grandmothers name," Gwen meekly answered bopping her daughter, "Oh of course it is, now grandma wants a hold." She practically snatched Rosenwyn from her arms.
