Lucy POV

The whole ride back, Cindy kept nudging into me, and sending me messages about me and Jack being something more than we already are.

As we arrive at the property, Ruth is outside waiting for us.

"Wow Jack, is this all yours?" Cindy asks as she looks out the window

" No, it's for me and my brothers."

"It's beautiful here, it reminds me of home." Cindy's place is kinda like this place though smaller given the people that live here

Getting out of the car I introduce Ruth and Cindy, but leave them to converse as I help Jack with Cindy's luggage, though he refuses given there are people here who can help us.

"We were thinking it would be best for you guys to live in our home for the time being, the other place we had for you is not yet done"

"I don't mind Jack, and i don't think Cindy will have a problem with that given the resemblance of her place and your home" I say with a smile

" Thank you again, let me just help Cindy get settled" I leave to meet Cindy and Ruth

"Hey, you guys! Room for one more?"

"Of course Lucy, I was wondering Cindy, if you would like me to show you to your room so that you can freshen up ?"

"I would love that Ruth, and do you mind filling me in on Lucy and Jack? I feel like my friend has been hiding some details from" Cindy says playfully

"I've not, we are just friend"

"To be honest Cindy i don't think it's my place to say much about that" Ruth answers honestly

The afternoon ends with Cindy teasing me about Jack. I mean i'm attracted to him and all, but i don't think I would like to encourage such thoughts. Cause last i checked i feel the same way for Jayen and Jonathan. But with Jonathan it's a bit more distant, given his behaviour towards me. And it would be just wrong for me to think about all three brothers... i mean I'm not crazy, am I ?

I and Cindy have been in her room for most of the day. She told me about this guy at work, who has been giving her a hard time.

"John just can't get the hint, he keeps bringing all kinds of gifts for me and i'm just not feeling him like that. I even told him one time that i'm not interested, but he insists on trying his luck"

"Have you tried giving him a chance, he might just be better than you think"

"No, Lucy I can't, I have tried to let him in but all to no avail."

*knock knock*

"Can i come in ?" from the voice i know its Ruth

"Yes you can." Cindy says

" i was wondering you guys would like to help out with dinner"

"Yeah, I mean we aren't doing anything at the moment." I say as a look at Cindy, making sure she's okay with it.

"I can help out with the basics, you know i can't cook Lucy" Cindy says, making me remember this one time she wanted to cook and all that was left of the ingredients was black lumps of nothing.

"No worries, you could cut the vegetables, we are making lasagne" Ruth says as she leads the way downstairs.

As we are preparing the lasagne, Jonathan and Jaylen walk in.

"Hey chicas, what's up?" Jaylen says ever so jovial

"We are making lasagne" Ruth says

"Thanks ruth, you must be Cindy, I'm Jaylen and this is Jonathan" Jaylen says, greeting Cindy

"Wow, you guys are so alike, sorry for my bad manners, I'm Cindy." Cindy suddenly bloats out, which i understand

"You are welcome to our home" Jaylen says nudging into Jonathan, who's been staring at me from the time he got in

"Yeah, welcome." Jonathan says, moving his gaze from me as he and Jaylen walk out.

"What's up with you and that Jonathan guy, the way he was looking at you. Did you do something to him ?" Cindy finally asks getting my attention from the guys

"I actually don't know, let's get back to cooking" I say, confused as ever.

Jack POV

We haven't found out who sent that guy to Lucy's Apartment, Zack my beta has been investigating the situations. To get a full understanding of the situation, he started renting at the same apartment building as Lucy.

"Alpha Jack, we haven't gotten anything yet and it seems like there won't be anyone disturbing our luna any time soon"

"If nobody comes by in the next three days you are coming back home, got it? And what did i say about you calling me Alpha"

"I get it, but some of our men are in the other room, i will not encourage disrespect just because you are my friend"

This is why i chose this guy, he leaves no room for disrespect, which makes everything a lot easier.

"Have you guys told Luna the truth about your identities?"

"Not yet, but we will be letting her know soon"

"That's good" Zack says

"That will be all for now, and call me if any leads come up"

"Will do" I click the phone after his last message.

Jaylen, I and Jonathan have been arguing about the best way to let Lucy know who we really are, but I don't think any of our ideas make sense.Jaylen thought it would be best for us (all three of us) to take her out to dinner, then let her know there. In his words " she will love it, believe me have you seen Lucy, she can handle a lot!". I find that to be a crazy idea, cause she might just pass out and what about if she decides to reject us. Jonathan thought it would be best if we could just tell her here and see how things go. But I wasn't having it cause I would like it to be special. She needs to know how special she is to us. I feel like it would be better for us to tell her after some time cause she's in shock and all. But each day we don't tell her puts her in more danger, because all our enemies most likely know that she's our mate now. With her not knowing it will be easy for her to be manipulated. I'm brought out of my thoughts from the knock on the door. It's Lucy.

"Was wondering if you would like to join us for dinner?" she says

"Of course, i will call the others

"No need i called them down already" She says

Lucy POV

Ruth was about to call the guys for dinner when Cindy got this weird Idea.

"No Ruth, Lucy will do that, we need to set the table in the meantime."

"I could help you Cindy, she was already on her way" I say

"It's okay Lucy, Cindy is right, you guys won't know where everything is. So i will help Cindy as you get the guys" Ruth says

"Okay then."I say as I start to walk away but before that I give Cindy the 'I will kill later look'.

I start with Jaylen, which is as easy as breathing. Then proceed to Jonathan, which for some reason I'm nervous, we haven't spoken to each other since that time in the living room. He keeps ignoring me.

I knock on his door, he seems to be on the phone.

"Come in" I walk in finding papers and him standing by the window. Damn he looks good.

"Dinner is ready, would you like to have some now ?"

"I will be right down" he says going straight back to his call

The nerve of this guy, sometimes I feel like he can see me and other times it's like I don't exist. I get out walking to Jack's office, Getting Jack isn't a hustle either, which puts my heart to rest.

Dinner flies by smoothly, we converse and enjoy the meal together. Elijah Ruth's husband joins us as well, which is cute. Cause they are so in-love, having them over is like watching a romance series. Elijah's eyes are ever on Ruth which melts my heart and makes me wonder if I will ever find a love like that. After Dinner i tell Ruth to go home with Elijah, while I and Cindy do the dishes. Cindy has been amazingly helpful, which is amazing, given everything is served to her at home. We decided to use my room for tonight. I just hope i won't wake up in the middle of the night like last night.
