Me: Describe yourself and everything about you??

DANI: I know everyone says this, but I am actually very weird. My younger sister is a lot more mature than me. I’m also a cheerful person, like I laugh a LOT – more often than I should actually. I laugh at almost everything. I’m really tall, like almost 5’6 but I actually wish I were two inches shorter. I have light skin, dark brown eyes, and brown hair (I colour them though, normally with highlights and a lighter shade of brown). I’m actually approachable in person, but some of my friends say I look like a snob because I have a chronic bitch face lmao but I swear I’m nice and I’m not a bitch.

Me: Tell us a bit about your life and other stuff??

DANI: I live in the Philippines, in Manila, to be specific. I’m half Filipino, ¼ Spanish and ¼ Italian which is why I think some of my readers say I don’t look Asian. I absolutely love animals, especially dogs. I have three dogs at home and they’re like my own babies. I love them more than most people I know. I speak fluent Filipino, but English was my first language which is why I also speak fluent English. Next to writing, I love singing. I’ve been singing since I was a kid and I would love to be a professional singer someday.

Me: How did you come up with the amazing ideas of your stories, share us the story plz?

Dani: Well, whenever I try to come up with new ideas, I always try to find a way to make it extra interesting. For example, with Illegally Yours, I know there are TONS of stories about amnesia but I tried to find a way to make mine standout by making the characters funny and quite peculiar (Like Frida, Cat, and Liam). For Dreamboat, I really wanted to write a story about dreams and I also wanted to come up with a good, unique plot. I guess it all comes down to taking time to think of a really, good solid plot. Coming up with a story doesn’t have to be rushed.

Me: How did you start writing?? What was the first piece of creation you did that was not related to school assignment?

DANI: When I was about five or six, I remember writing a story about my stuffed animals having an adventure in the jungle. I don’t really remember the details anymore, but they all became friends and ended up stranded in the jungle. I started writing when I started reading, and I started reading at an early age, like around five. My writing was absolutely horrible back then, of course.

Wow even I used to create stories and play with animals !!! your writing was horrible ??? stop joking shakespare!

ME: Which genre are you scared of or bad at writing in?? Which genre is you’re favourite like you know you rock writing in it?

DANI: I don’t think I’m that good at writing suspense stories. I try, but most of the old fanfics that I’ve deleted before were suspense ones. I wasn’t very happy with those. My goal this year though is to be able to write a good thriller / suspense fanfic. As for my favourite, I think it’s quite obvious that my strength is in romantic comedy. I live for it. I enjoy writing it so much and if ever I do become a successful author one day, I want to focus on writing stories like that.

ME: What is next for you in future of wattpad?? New stories? Sneak peeks or any ideas??

DANI: I have a couple of new plots in mind; most of them are Harry fanfics because he’s my fave. I don’t plan on writing them anytime soon though because I’m still trying to focus on my current ones. I told myself I won’t be adding a new story until I’m done with everything.

A lot of people were wondering why I don’t have a Niall fanfic. I actually had one (37 Promises), I just ended up deleting it because I wasn’t so inspired to write it anymore and I felt like the ideas I had for that story would work better if I used them in my other fanfics. I will write a Niall fanfic some day, not soon, but I will. I can’t leave him out; he’s like one of my fave after Harry.

Me: What is the best and worst thing about writing?? What is your best and worst talent/habit?

Dani: The best thing about writing is being able to unleash my imagination in my stories. In my world, I get what I want, and I write about it. I love making people feel what I felt while writing a certain scene. The worst habit, I don’t know, I guess writer’s block? I have it every now and then and it really sucks, especially when people want you to update.

ME: What do you think of Anna Todd’s success?? Do you wish to be a writer??

DANI: I am very happy for her success however I believe that there are tons of other stories out there that deserve the same amount of success and attention. I wouldn’t say I’m a huge fan of her writing, but hey I’m glad she’s out there living her dreams. And yes, I’d love to be a professional writer someday.

ME: What are your insecurities when it comes to writing? Will you ever write anything in the future related to social issues??

DANI: I have a ton of insecurities. Most of the time when people compliment my writing, I just stare at their comment and wonder why. I honestly do not see myself as a good writer technically; I just think I have a lot of good ideas. There’s a huge difference, really. I think I really suck at describing things and feelings through words, though I try my best.

I do think the same way but insecurities are just mere distractions from the real concern .

And yeah, why not? I’d love to write about certain social issues some day.

ME: Do you have a weird obsession over anything?? Details plz

DANI:I’m obsessed with corners of shirts and pillow cases. I know, it’s a weird obsession and I’ve had since the day I was born and I NEVER outgrew it. It’s actually really embarrassing because most of the times I’m not even aware that I’m touching the corner of my shirt like an idiot, even while crossing the street. I have favourite pillow cases with corners that I love, like I rub them in between my thumb and finger until I fall asleep. Idk I’m weird Haha

That’s the most weirdest thing I have ever heard but at least its harmless, corners?? Wow that is a weird thing to love .

ME: What are the most rebellious and kindest things you have done in life? Are you with or against bullying???

DANI: The most rebellious thing? Probably when I tried smoking like a year ago, just for the heck of it. I never got addicted to it anyway so it’s all good. I TOTALLY DO NOT ENCOURAGE SMOKING OKAY. IT KILLS. The kindest thing I’ve done was probably when I went to give new pairs of shoes to poor children who lived in areas affected by typhoon Yolanda here in the Philippines.

Yes, I am against bullying. Any kind of bullying, whether real life bullying or cyber bullying is just evil. I’ve been bullied tons of times for the stupidest reasons (mainly because of my love for One Direction).

Tell me who did it ! that person is so dead!

ME: If you were to create a holiday or festival when, where, why and how will you create it?? What is its name?

DANI: Probably some sort of an Anti-Bullying or Be Kind to One Another campaign. I don’t know how that would work as a holiday, but it would be great if there’s at least one day dedicated to doing kind deeds to for random strangers. I know it’s something we should do on a daily basis, but then activities like this will help remind people, including myself, to be kind.

DANI: Going On 30. I’m not 30, but I’m really, really young at heart so I definitely relate to that movie a lot.

ME: List your hobbies and favourites.

DANI: hobbies are singing and writing. When it comes to music, I absolutely love One Direction, 5SOS, Little Mix – those three are on a whole different level of adoration. After them there’s My Chemical Romance, Good Charlotte, Demi Lovato, Nick Jonas, Lady Gaga, Eminem. I also love Mexican and Japanese food, dinosaurs, frozen yogurt, sleeping, daydreaming and watching films. My favourite colour is gold.

ME: Are you still in school? If yes then in which grade? What are your favourite and hateful subjects?

DANI: Nope, I’m done with college. Boohoo. I absolutely hated Math and Geography though. I suck at both.

ME: In your opinion what are the three most beautiful things in the world that every person must experience once in a lifetime ;) and why?

DANI: To love and to be in-love are my first two (No, 18 did not inspire me to say that lol). It’s true though. Love may come with regrets, especially if you end up breaking up with the person, but it’s still a beautiful thing. Love in general is a beautiful thing whether it’s reciprocated or not. Just the feeling of loving someone, whether it be your dog or a loved one, it’s an amazing feeling.

Don’t make me cry over my big 0 love life *sniffs*

I also think people should experience travelling at least once in their life. There are so many beautiful places that have yet to be discovered.

ME: Which genre on wattpad is the most overrated and filled with overused story ideas? Why? What is the worst thing about wattpad?

DANI: Ones where Harry or the main character is an absolute douche bag who loves sex and ends up taking the virginity of the school’s inexperienced good girl. At first it’s a good turn on because it’s hot but then it really gets old. I still read some of those from time to time if the writing is really good and if there are some unique twists and turns in the story.

harry is an angel from heaven who is such a sweet boy and yet people make him to be dark.. he is just a little cutie pie L

The worst thing? All the bugs. That’s all I have to say. OH and the new (not so new anymore) layout. It’s horrible.

ME: What type of person you are in your school life? Popular, sporty.etc...

DANI: I wouldn’t say I’m popular but I do have friends too. I’m not sporty either. I’m just in between I guess. I like making good friends, not a lot of friends. I’d choose two best friends over a bunch of fake popular friends. I’m that type of person who’s quiet at first but once you get to know me I’m really crazy and bubbly.

ME: What you love the most -- school life, university, job

DANI: I’m working now, so I love being able to save money and buy what I want at the same time, like concert tickets.

ME: What is your personal philosophy? Give the theme songs for your books?

DANI: I believe that happiness shouldn’t depend on having a boyfriend or girlfriend or being married. Sometimes we think that having a partner will complete us, but no, I don’t believe that. Happiness should be discovered within yourself. I would love to get married one day though and have a family, don’t get me wrong.

ME: Did you ever have heartbreak?? What is worth understanding deeply?

DANI: Yup, I’ve had my heart broken twice. I can’t even begin to explain how bad they were. But I guess in time you’ll understand that when it doesn’t work out with someone, it only means that there is someone better waiting. I am waiting for you, Harry Styles.

Pity that poor guy who let such a young beautiful writer go I feel sad from him didn’t he heard the quote?- if a writer falls in love with you, you can never die . he lost his chance of immortality.

Part 2: are you a picky reader? What are your strengths as a reader?

DANI: To be honest, I am a very picky reader. It’s hard to find a good fanfic nowadays but there are a few good ones that I’m quite obsessed with. I think my strengths are entertaining people and giving them feels. I’m just basing this on the comments I get.

ME: What do you want to say to your fans? What are your habits as a thinker?

DANI: I don’t really consider them as “fans” coz that sounds weird. I mean I’m just a normal person who loves to write. But I’d like to thank my readers for making my dreams come true. Never in a million years did I expect to get this far, and it’s only because of you guys. Thank you so much for giving my stories a chance. I never thought they were good enough, but you guys did.

Part 2: what is your most proud moment? How did you respond to expectations? Do you make your own covers?

My proudest moment was probably when one of my stories (Illegally Yours) hit 1M for the first time. I literally stared at my phone for like 10 minutes because I couldn’t believe it.

When it comes to what people expect of me, I’ve learned to believe that my world shouldn’t revolve on trying to please other people. If I do end up pleasing them, then that’s a good thing. But if I don’t, then it’s okay. Pleasing people is only good when you’re happy with it yourself.

And yes, I do make my own covers using Photoshop. :)
