You sighed heavily into the night air. It just doesn't seem to end does it? The company would carry on about their merry way almost always, three weeks later, the group ran into trouble. You were so intrigued by the idea that you kept a tally in your journal. So far, your results were proving true. Now, it was the third week again since your last dangerous encounter with an orc pack. What would happen know? All kinds of ideas flooded your mind.
"Ugh! I can't do this," you whispered and shot up off your bed roll. The ground was far too dark beneath your feet. You squinted as your tried to move quietly over the sleeping dwarves. You need to be away from this group for just a moment.
You had just stepped over Ori, when it happened. Your foot caught on a pathetic bump on the ground and you fell down. Face first. Onto something. Onto someone. You held your breath as the person beneath you began to stir. You hoped that your loud thud onto the dwarf wasn't heard by the others. The dwarf groaned and looked up at you. Your face went red instantly. You had fallen on top of Thorin.
"....I-I- Thorin, my king...uhh," you stuttered. What do you say in such a position? You were surprised when he looked at you when a soft expression. "What?" You asked raised a brow at him.
"I was waiting for the day you would fall for me," he said softly. You let out a single scoff.

"Was that a pick-up line?" You whispered looking into his gorgeous eyes. You would certainly take him up on that offer.
He gave a curt nod,"aye." You were speechless," why are you a wake at this hour y/n? It's barely dawn."
"I know....I just needed to get some air," it was a terrible excuse and you knew it. Thorin seemed to know this as well.
"A night outside under the stars and you need air?" He asked doubtfully. A smirk grew on his face as you looked at him with wide eyes.
"Well....fine! I've realized that every three weeks something happens to the group. I've been keeping a tally and so far, my theory hasn't let me down. I got so worried as to what might happen on this third week that I needed a break from my mind....," you looked deeply into his eyes. Your faces where I chest apart," it would seems as though I've found it."
Thorin grinned," well, I'm glad we spoke. If make me quite happy if you walked along side me when we wake," he brought a hand up and gently brushed your fallen bangs back.
"....o-of course Thorin I'd be honored," you smiled as you picked yourself off him and laid down next to him. You fell into a deep asleep for the first time, in a long time.
It would appear that you had found the event at the end of this third week.
