You pulled your car over.

Lin looks out the window. "Where are we?"

You smile mischievously. "You'll see."

You get out of you car and look up at the old, run down building. You hadn't been here since before your theater group left for Mexico. You missed it.

Lin stands next to you. "We're not going in, are we?"

"We are," you reply, determined.

"What even was that building?"

"You'll see."

Lin cautiously follows you over to the side of the building, where a fire escape zig-zaged on the wall.

"We're going up that, aren't we?"

"Now you're catching on."

You walk over and begin walking up the stairs, Lin following closely behind. When you get to the top, you reel back your foot and kick open the window. You and Lin duck your heads and climb in.

"Wow," Lin gasps.

You smile.

Inside was an large, old theater that had gotten abandoned decades ago, which was really a shame because it was beautiful.

The fire escape led to the top row of seats, and from there, you could perfectly see the whole theater.

The stage was wide and paneled with light wood. The once bright red curtains were now faded and had holes in them. All of the seats had red velvet on them, which was now light and felt weird. But the walls were covered in paintings, designs, patterns, pictures, and all sorts of gorgeous things. It really brought the room together, and for some reason, made it feel even bigger.

"How did you find this place?", Lin asks in awe, still looking around.

"I was just driving one day and saw it. I had been in a crappy mood, so I decided to check it out, ignoring the logical part of me that said I could get in trouble for breaking and entering. But I ended up being really glad I did. And from then on, I just came here whenever I wanted to be alone- not at my apartment."

He smiles. "Thanks for sharing your place with me."

"Of course. Come here." You grab his hand and lead him to the first seats, and you sit down.

"Look at the stage," you say gently, and you both turn to face it. "Pretty soon, your show is going to be playing in a theater, just like this one. But this time, instead of laughing when you say 'Alexander Hamilton', everyone sitting in those seats are going to clap." His gaze shifts from the stage to you.

"I love you," he says full of emotion, giving you the you're-everything-to-me look.

You feel your heart pang. He loves you? He loves you! Lin loves you! "I love you too."

He smiles wide, as of he didn't already know. Well, you hadn't officially said it, but you thought it was pretty clear.

Lin presses his lips to yours so gently and so sweetly that you thought you were going to melt into a puddle of happiness.

What did you do in life to deserve someone like Lin?

You pull away. "I love you," you whisper.

"I love you," he whispers back.

You both smile, and you look into his gorgeous chocolate eyes. You think of the first time you met him. "Do you remember the first time we met?", you ask as you both make your way back to the window.

"Of course I do. I was mesmerized by your voice and dashing good looks," Lin says.

You let out a small laugh. "So was I. For you, I mean." You pause. "But to be honest, I think I fell for you in that moment. It was weird. It felt like time stopped, and I could only see you." You step out of the window and turn to him. "Does that sound crazy?"

Lin smiles, wrinkles forming around his eyes, which were sparkling. You grin. You loved his smile.

He kisses your cheek. "Not at all."

Later that night, as you're cuddled up at Lin's side watching The Little Mermaid (he really liked that movie for some reason), you think of something. "Hey, you know in D.C. when I was trying to go back to the hotel then you stopped me?"

"From running away? Yeah," he murmurs, eyes glued to the TV.

"How did you know where to find me?"

He looks at you. "Well, I figured you would try to get back to the hotel, and I had the keys, so I knew you couldn't take the rental car. I knew you wouldn't give up, being the stubborn person you are, so I knew you would try and catch a bus. When I found the nearest bus stop on my phone, I sprinted away."

You chuckle. "What did you tell Vanessa?"

"Hm?", Lin asks, his attention back on the movie.

"What did you tell her as the reason you left?"

"Bathroom."

You smile. Lin really did like you.

His whole face suddenly lights up. "Ready?", he asks.

"For what?"

He stands up. "The seaweed is always greener in somebody else's lake. You dream about going up there, but that is a big mistake. Just look at the world around you, right here on the ocean floor! Such wonderful things surround you! What more is you looking for?", he sings.

Lin grabs your hand and pulls you up to your feet. "Under the sea!", he sings loudly.

You laugh and sing along.

Gosh. You were so in love with this man.

"Alright, everyone, this is our last rehearsal! Tomorrow is our first performance!"

The cast cheers, and you cheer right along. As more time went by, the more prepared you were, and you knew that you were going to crush it.

Daveed, Leslie, and Oak walk over to you after Lin finishes talking.

"Hey, Y/N," Leslie says.

"Hi." You look back and forth between the three of them. "Is this an intervention or something?"

"Oh, no, um, we were just making sure that you were going to be at all of the performances? Like, even the last one?", Oak asks, and Leslie elbows him.

"I'm planning on it." You pause, still confused. "Why?"

"Juuuuust checking," Daveed says.

"Okay?"

"Well, good luck- sorry, break a leg!", Leslie says nervously, then they hurry away.

While Lin is waiting with you offstage before the opening song, you turn to him. "Hey, Lin, something kinda strange happened to me," you bring up nonchalantly.

"What? Are you pregnant?", he asks immediately and full of alarm.

"What? No. Lin, we're not even married. We've only ever kissed before. That's not really how that works."

Lin just shrugs. "Just making sure. So what is it?"

"Well, Oak, Daveed, and Leslie came up to me to make sure that I would be at all the performances- specifically, the last one. Do you know anything about that?", you ask innocently, knowing that he was involved in some way.

"Oh, no. That's weird," he says casually.

As amazing of an actor that Lin was, you knew he was lying.

Before you could ask any more questions, Lin goes onstage.

What was he planning?

A/N: Sorry for the bad chapter. Also, if you have any idea for what to call this chapter, that would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: Sooooo I kind of decided on a name. If you can think of something better, I would still really appreciate it.
