《Helpless (Lin-Manuel Miranda x Reader)》After The Rain There's A Rainbow

So... it didn't go well. Obviously. But you hadn't expected it to.
As soon as you got inside, Vanessa death-glared you.
You had been able to tell that Lin just wanted to get out of there, because he suddenly just said, "Vanessa, I'm breaking up with you," before she could say anything.
"Why, because of her?!", she yelled, pointing a finger at you.
Calm, Lin put his arm around your waist. "I like Y/N. It's not fair to you if I stay with you when I like someone else."
"I knew it from the beginning. How could you do this to me?! We were talking about getting married!"
"I'm sorry."
That's when you lost track of what Vanessa was saying, because she was just screaming a bunch of different things at Lin, with a lot of profanity.
"I'm sorry," Lin said one more time, then walked out with you, arm still around your waist.
When you still hear Vanessa yelling, you both start to sprint away.
You run down the hall, holding Lin's hand. By the time you get into his car, you were breathing hard, but laughing.
Lin smiles at you. "So, Y/N..." He holds your hand again, and looks into your eyes. "Will you be my girlfriend?"
You smile, not able to hold back showing how happy you were. That was the sentence you had wanted to hear since Mexico. The one you always hoped you would hear but never thought you would. And now, it was happening. Now, you would finally get to be with the most extraordinary person in the whole galaxy. "Yes."
His grin widens, and you both let out a small laugh, so relieved that the worst of things was over, and so happy you were finally together- finally dating.

Lin leans in and presses his mouth to yours, and although you had felt the sparks the other two times, now you felt it even more. Lin wasn't with someone else. He was with you. It felt more right. More real.
Both you and Lin smile during the kiss, seeming to realize that at the same time.
Dang. After what felt like the millions of storms you've gone through, finally the dark clouds were clearing. And from that cold rain and strong winds, was now a rainbow.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Your life after that, you'd have to admit, was pretty amazing. You got to see Lin five days a week thanks to rehearsal, and after, you usually went out and got something to eat (normally at the Spaghetti Factory. Lin really liked the spumoni). On the weekends, you went and saw movies, went on a ferries, walked around Central Park, hung out at Lin's, and really just did whatever you felt like. You had never felt more happy.
It was Friday, the last day of a long work week, and Lin announced that today was the first official run-through for Hamilton.
You were nervous. If you were honest, you knew the songs and the blocking forwards and backwards. But it was the very first run-through. What if you couldn't remember the order of the scenes? What if you messed up and they had to stop everything? What if-
"Calm down, Y/N. You gonna do great."
You smile at the sound of your boyfriend's voice. He still had the miraculous ability to undo the knots in your stomach with just one word.
"Thanks, Lin."
He smiles, gives you a quick peck on your lips, then rushes off.
Lin was right. The first act of the show went perfectly, and you were having a lot of fun. You just wish that Eliza talked to Lafayette. You would've liked to have a scene with Daveed.
Speaking of scenes, that's exactly what the cast made when they first saw you walk in holding Lin's hand. They started saying things like "I knew it!" "I shipped them the whole time!" "You're so cute!" "What happened to Vanessa?" "Oak!" "Sorry! I like Lin with Y/N better anyway." You loved them, but they were crazy.
Anyway, "Take A Break" had just ended, and now "Say No To This" was starting.
"There's nothing like summer in the city. Someone under stress meets someone looking pretty...", sings Leslie.
As the song continues, you think about the next scene you're in. Is my next song Burn? No, it's Schuyler Defeated, then Burn, right?
Suddenly you hear "Then her mouth is on mine and I don't say..." and you look onstage, just in time to see Jasmine kiss Lin.
You knew that it was just part of the blocking and both of them were acting, but you couldn't help but feel a little jealous. This must've been what Vanessa felt like, you realize. But I'm not going to go all psycho and tell Jasmine to ask Lin if he likes her. I know he likes me. Still, you couldn't help the envy growing in you as their kiss deepens.
You never really got a chance to talk to Lin between scenes. He was in almost every scene (expect for only eight of them- you counted), and with the ones he wasn't in, he was waiting for his next scene on the other side of the stage. So whenever you were feeling nervous, you vented to Renee, Jasmine, or Daveed. They were very kind and always helped you, but they weren't Lin. Lin could calm you with one word or just a quick squeeze of your hand.
And right now, you needed Lin to come over and help ease your envy. But he couldn't. He was in "The Room Where It Happens" right after that song ended, so you were stuck without him.
"Hey, what's wrong?", Renee whispers, walking up to you.
"I just, um..." Just thinking about saying it aloud make you realize how dumb it sounded. You were jealous of your boyfriend doing a stage kiss? That he was obviously acting during?
Renee glances on stage. "Ah. Don't like Lin kissing someone else?"
"I know how stupid that sounds..."
"No, it makes sense that you don't want to see the guy you like kissing someone else. Just remember that while he's kissing Jasmine, he'd rather be kissing you."
You give her a "really?" look, and she just smirks.
After a moment, Renee laughs quietly. "Besides, he clearly adores you. Lin looks at you like you're the only woman in the whole world."
You blush slightly. "Thanks, Renee."
"Of course, Y/N."
You hear the end of "The Room Where It Happens", and hurry to the spot you enter for "Schuyler Defeated".
By the end of the show, your jealousy goes away. You had been able to take it out during "Burn" then "forgive" him during "It's Quiet Uptown". Besides, Lin was really hard to stay angry at.
When rehearsal is over, Lin walks over to you. "So, what would you like to do tonight, mi amor?", he asks, grabbing your hand.
Using your free hand, you sling your tote bag over your shoulder. "You know what? I actually have a good idea. But it might also be a very terrible idea."
Lin, looks at you, confused. "So which is it?"
You shrug. "I guess you'll decide."
Skeleton Sovereign?
A lawyer, along with ten thousand other people, is kidnapped by the Heavenly Demon of Decay to participate in a campaign against the Monarch of Everglades. The Heavenly Demon of Decay, has chosen these ten thousand people to be the captains of his 100 man squads, saying that beings of lower realms are easier to boost temporarily. Our lawyer didn’t complain much at that. A generic hero summoned to another world setting, he thought. And as he didn’t have any family or much attachment to his previous world, he even liked his situation. But that was until he found out, that the “Heavenly Demon of Decay” was a necromancer. And that he along with millions of other humans, and various beings, were processed into undead soldiers. ‘Well fuck!’, he thought. And after being equipped with high quality equipment, and being robbed of his free will, he marched, along with billions of other horrifying undead, against the Monarch of the Everglades. But his poor luck didn’t end there. The Heavenly Demon of Decay, and his army lost. But the worst part was, they left him behind while retreating. Now, he is stuck behind in a huge jungle, full of various monsters, where every moment he must struggle for his life. But isn’t he already dead? This thought only serves to incense him further. But that is not all to his story, he finds that he is in a different, more powerful world, where wizards, warriors, dragons, dungeons but most importantly “CULTIVATION” exists. Albeit not very Chinese, but cultivation nonetheless. But, can a skeleton even cultivate? Not a native english speaker. So don't expect impeccable grammar. Although I do try my best, this is also my first novel so pointers are appreciated. Haters, just stop reading if you don't like it. Please don't spoil my mood by evil comments.
Almost a Good Person
A memory, a memory of a boy who wanted more than pain, of a girl who wanted more than death, and an Isle that should not exist. The Isle of Red is a small, unassuming, quiet place. It is just large enough for a college, a small town, and maybe even a few more unusual sorts of places. Of course, the townsfolk practically know each other as family. Flush-faced regulars can be found toasting just about anything in the Briar's Brew, then, a few streets away, the same haggle of older women stationed themselves on their perch as they did every day from one of the few balconies in Central Square. They fuss away now, spouting the usual gossip as they watch us all from on high. Then there is the College here on the Isle of Red. My college. It has been often described as an unusual place by a good deal of people on the mainland. If they only would visit -why I am sure they'll soon have a change of heart, they may even come to find it a quaint sort of place, odd but in the same way a tattered old quilt can be both odd looking and warm, and especially soft. We teach mostly the same sort of disciplines here, with fantastic and absolutely normal professors.I must conclude that I am quite smitten with myself. The stage is set with a level of perfection that would have astonished me in my youth. They are coming. Derek will follow her. He knows the weight of reality too intimately, but she will be his true north if only for a short time. A beacon in the storm to show him the stunning pastels and brightness the sun may yet refract through his thinner, sharper pieces. Theoline will lead as she always has- well not always, not yet. She holds onto questions feverishly tight, that one. Lights them up inside like a new type of fuel without the slightest worry of being burned. She knows... There is but a certain few who can look at a map and find nothing where I stand but the Atlantic Ocean. And still, there is earth beneath me, a noisy pub down the road from me, and several people clucking conspiratorially on a balcony above me. She knows... that the Isle of Red doesn't belong here. Neither, technically, do I. (Hello!
