I gave him a tight lipped smile, not trusting him one bit. I shook his hand, squeezing it harder than I had to. "Nice to meet you too, Di- Mr. Pickman," I said, changing what I was going to say in a few seconds. Thanks a lot, I scowled, causing Ruckur to chuckle.
Pickman's lip turned into a frown before he started to smile again. "It's all right, Sweetie," he said. He looked me up and down, causing me to visibly gag. "You are a such a beautiful thing." He kissed my knuckles before I could stop him.
I grimaced but quickly smiled when he looked back up. "Thank you, Sir," I said, feigning courtesy. "But, I think I am of mild features." I took my hand out of his, stopping from the fact that I wanted to wipe my hand on my jeans.
I could still feel his kiss on my skin, and I didn't' like it one bit. "Now, what is it that we have to discuss? I fear that I have to get back home soon."
Michael frowned, seeing the grimace I had on my face and the forced smile. "Of course," he said. He gave me a look that said we would talk later, causing me to nod my head.
"Actually, I was thinking we could get to know each other," Pickman said, causing Luke to tense and move closer to my shoulder. He visibly paled looking at Luke. "I don't mean like that," he breathed out.
"Good, because that means that I would be able to hurt you," Cami said. She smiled sweetly. "It's nice to see you again, Dicky," she added, causing me to stifle a laugh.
Pickman scowled and narrowed his eyes at her. "It's Pickman," he said. "Not Dickman." He turned to look at me smiling. "Now, would that be all right?" he asked.

I shook my head, smiling apologetically. "I'm sorry, Sir," I said. "I just have stuff to do, and I do not have time to talk about myself."
Pickman frowned. "Of course," he said, nodding his head. "I understand."
"You and the people that go to your school will be going here and the school here instead," Michael said, causing me to frown.
"Will all do respect, Sir," I said. "I would feel more comfortable if I trained with you. If that means that I have to hide from my mother, then I will." I paused and took a deep breath. "My dad trusts you. I do not think he trusts, Mr. Pickman here, and I know that you will be better suited for my... needs."
Or you are just listening to me and saying that you don't trust him either, Ruckur said, causing me to roll my eyes.
Will you let me focus, I scowled, causing him to chuckle. I'm trying to make sure that I will not die.
Of course, Director, he teased, causing me to roll my eyes again.
"Now, can we discuss everything where we are sitting down?" I asked, raising an eyebrow.
Pickman nodded his head, smiling. "Of course, Director," he said. He lead us towards a seating area where half the group that I was with was at. He gestured to a seat near him and frowned when I took a seat by Michael.
I smirked when Luke took the seat by me and didn't say a word while they discussed what was going to happen. I did throw in some information, more like that I wasn't going to going to the school or training with Pickman.
This caused Patrick to say something stupid, which caused both of us to get into a heated argument before I told Michael that I was going to go outside.

I leaned on the post and looked out of the field. I hoped that Michael had gotten my message and knew that I wanted to talk to him as well.
"You alright?" Michael asked, coming from behind me. He leaned on the fence beside me and waited for me to say something.
"I don't trust him," I said, not looking at him. "There's just something about him that is telling my body to run and run as fast as you can away from him."
"And that is the reason why you don't want to be trained by him?" Michael asked. "Your father does trust him."
"Not as much as he trusts you," I replied, looking at him. "And there is another thing, but... I think that you will just need to take me home, so I can tell you." I didn't know who Ruckur was to Michael, but I think he was someone important.
Michael studied me before nodding his head. "Of course," he said. "I'll tell Gabbie that you will be riding with me."
I nodded. "We might want to get back in there," I said. "Before someone makes a mess."
Michael chuckled and nodded his head. He placed a hand on my shoulder and lead me back to the room that we had been in. "I have your back," he said. "No matter what."
I didn't say a word but nodded my head. I couldn't help but feel as some weight have been lifted off of my shoulder. I was glad that he did care about me and would help me with anything that I needed.
I was starting to trust the man, and that was what had scared me.

Michael pulled the car up to my drive and looked at me. He raised an eyebrow, waiting for me to say a word. He knew that I was trying to say something all the way home, but I wasn't even capable of doing it.
"How do you know Ruckur?" I all but blurted out, causing him to blink.
"What?" he asked.
I took a deep breath. "How do you know Ruckur?" I asked. I pointed to my head. "I've had this weird voice in my head for as long as I can remember. I just found out that his name was Ruckur, and he told me to tell you about him."
Michael looked at me with a calculating look, causing me to squirm in my seat. He didn't say a word, and I didn't know if he was thinking of killing me or kissing me.
Tell him that he used to sleep with a bear in a pink tutu until he was out of high school, Ruckur said. It's something only he and I knew.
"Ruckur said that you used to sleep with a bear in a pink tutu until you were out of high school," I said, making a face. "I think that is cute." I couldn't picture a big, burly dude like Michael cuddling a bear, but it was still funny.
Michael groaned and leaned his head on the steering wheel. "All he could've told her, and he told her that," he muttered, causing me to roll my eyes. He lifted his head a bit and looked at me. "Ruckur i- was my older brother," he said, finally.
