Mom didn't ask any questions as to why I was leaving without a bag. She seemed to think that we didn't need them, but I was sure that she just didn't' care.
Cami kept teasing me about Luke and I kissing, even though we didn't because she had interrupted us."So, how did his lips taste like?" she teased, glancing at me. She turned around from the passenger seat and looked at me.
We were in a van, which was being driven by Ms. Gables, going to wherever we were supposed to go. Cami was in the front seat while Luke and I were in the middle. Cody was lounging in the back, snoring every so often.
I huffed, not liking the fact that she was trying to bring up the fact that we were about to kiss in front of Ms. Gables. "Like shit," I replied, causing Cami to snort, and Luke to laugh. I raised an eyebrow when I heard Ms.Gables huff. "What? He didn't brush his teeth."
"Did too," Luke said. "And how would you know? You didn't even kiss me."
"Thank you," I said, flinging my arms in the air. "Cami, shut up about it. I didn't kiss him. Yes, I did want to in that moment, but now that I know that his breath smells like he pooped out of his mouth, I do not want to."
"Liar, liar, pants on fire," my dog teased, lifting his head up from where he had been resting it on the back seat. "You wanted to kiss-"
"Cody, if you finish that sentence, I am going to throw you out of the car, and you can meet us there," I interrupted him, causing Cami and Luke to laugh. My face was just as red as my hair, and I knew that was one of the reasons why they were laughing.

"Well, I don't think I have to because we are there," Cody said, causing me to groan. "Joes likes Luke!" he yelled before jumping out of the van.
I groaned again, feeling my face red. I didn't say a word while I followed him out of the van and into the place where we were meaning, which looked like mansion of some sort.
It was a brick building with three stories, and I could tell that it had a lot of rooms in it. The building was done in a mostly Victorian updo, and I was sure that there was some mysteries about the house.
My whole body tensed, and I couldn't help but frown. I had no reason to be tense unless...
Oi, are you tense in there? I asked, raising an eyebrow.
Voice hummed in agreement. Stay cautious and alert, he said. Something is afoot, and I do not like it one bit.
I bit back a scoff and followed the group up to the door. All right, I said. I will listen, even though I still do not know who you are and how you got into my head.
Voice chuckled. I am Ruckur (Ruck-oor), he said. You will learn more about me from Michael as time goes on.
I bit back a huff but didn't say a word when I saw the door open and out came Michael, holding Lasi, and a new figure that made me tense a bit more.
He had brown eyes that seemed to have a different shade in them. He stood about 5'4 and was slender built. His black hair was pulled into a ponytail, and he had this goatee that didn't look that good on him.
Danger! my body screamed when I saw him. Run! Run as fast as you can!

I took a deep breath and tried to relax my body, even though everything was as if it was ready to run. A smile appeared on my face, bu I was sure that it looked like a grimace by the way that Michael looked at me with a raised eyebrow.
"Joes, this is Pickman," he said, not saying anything when he saw me shaking my head. "Pickman, this is Joes. She's the Director."
Something flashed through Pickman's eyes while he smiled at me. He held out his hands in a welcome fashion before putting his arms across his body and bowing. "It's nice to meet you, Director," he said. "I am pleased to make your acquaintance."
More like Dickman, Ruckur muttered underneath his breath, almost causing me to laugh.

The Breath of Creation [DROPPED]
General Summary: Sometimes, the multiverse needs expanding. That's where I come in. But, unfortunately, being a deity isn't all fun and games (and is incredibly complicated), as there are always things working against you. Not even the God of the Multiverses can change that. Another Summary: Twelve souls were chosen to expand into the void surrounding the known universe(s), and were given a grace period in which they would experience a relatively safe expansion of their domains. Once that period is up, however, they are free to interact with each other...and what lurks in the depths of the Abyss, the Void, and the Primordial Chaos. I am one of those souls. And let me tell you, this shit ain't easy. Between trying to raise mortals into an immortal army, with which I can defend my domain, dealing with my children, and trying to maintain the balance between all realms of existance, I have my work cut out for me. Sigh. Now I know why, back on Earth, gods worked in mysterious, invisible ways. There's just too much to be done. Formerly called RE: Deity
