It's was the afternoon, all of the teams that are invited to the stadium are gathering around the battle stage. Each teams has to choose another team to together battle, since it is a big team battle, Valt's and Sheila's team decided to cooperate with each other, the man who organized the whole thing stood up the stage and announced the team face-offs.

'May we have Valt Aoi's and Sheila Kurenai's team come up and battle Chris and Akeno's team please.'

It was their time to come up some good strategies for beating the other team. They come up with many, but the only issue is that those strategies have big chance of making a slip up, which means that the plan might just blow. Either way, they had to take chances, otherwise the other team is going full-out and won't give in. And just like the other team battles, they had to register people, this time you're allowed to pick out 5 out of the big team.

'Who should go? The other team is going to send out the girl named Eriko out first.' Honcho announced

'Send me out, I'll be able to handle her.' Wakiya jumped in

'Her bey is Empower Easu, it's a stamina type, we need attack types, not defense' Daigo said

'Oh! I'm an attack type!' Valt exclaimed

So they chose Valt to go up against another girl, not Chris, since her team is full of stamina type bladers, they send out Sheila to face Chris. They also send out Jay, Shu and Ken. All of them are psyched to battle, only five more minutes 'till their first battle in the USA, taking the advantage of time, Shu dragged Valt somewhere outside the stadium wanting to talk to him alone. Confused and surprised, Valt flinched but relaxed once he saw Shu, noticing his face was really... serious, he kinda knew that his must meant something important.

'Valt can I talk you?'

'Uh...sure.'

'You're not...ignoring me are you?'

'What! No why would I?' Valt exclaimed

'Because you kept running off somewhere away from me, like the time you bumped into the girl.'

'Look, I'm not you. It's just that I just don't know where I'm going.'

Giving out a quite relaxed sigh, he nodded a 'okay' and took Valt back into the stadium, on the way back Valt kissed Shu on the cheeks, Shu was blushing a little bit since he thought Valt would never had the guts to do that, looking down to Valt, he was a deeper shade though, laughing at his way of showing affection, they went back to the stadium.

Showtime. Jay was out first, facing a girl with her stamina bey, she looked at Jay then snickered almost to loud, that ain't a 'funny' snicker, it's almost like a cruel snicker, heck even Jay was annoyed with her attitude. Not minding her, Jay took out her bey, Jyro, and placed it on the launcher, thinking again back at the strategies, she can go with the 'out then in' strategy, meaning that if she circled her opponent from outside first, it loses a bit of stamina and going back inside, she then attacks then bringing home victory with a burst finish. Satisfied with her tactics, the blonde knelt down at her launching position, ready to get this over with.

The girl Eriko opposite her was taking a selfie, holding her phone up high and the other hand holding a bey, the girl took a snapshot of herself and typed something you don't need to know. This girl is just messing with Jay's temper, getting impatient, she put her phone back into her pocket and hold her launcher. The smirk is still there, but Jay is going to wipe that thing off her face.

'Ready, set!'

'3...'

'2...'

'1!'

'Let it...RIP!' They both said in unison

Jay's bey circled around the rim of the beystadium, chasing the other girl's bey like she imagined, first contact went well, then Jyro make another blow, the other girl was somewhat determined, she called her bey's special move, it sped up. Surprised, it now hunts down Jyro, like a wolf chasing a deer. Not willing to fail, Jay spirit became one with her bey, a yellow aura surrounded her, the bey was getting the signal.

'Jyro! Canon launch let's go!'

The bey gained back it speed, tiny sparks can be seen behind the bey, since Canon launch boost the bey's speed and power, it is now back chasing Eriko's bey. Bouncing back at the wall and charging straight to the other girl's bey, they two clashed together making a ray of wind blow, it was difficult to see who's the winner, soon, Eriko's bey burst in the air, three pieces fell to the ground as Jyro was still spinning in the middle.

'Burst finish! Jyro wins with a burst finish!'

The other groups cheered, Eriko's face was priceless, nothing but blank emotions. Taking her bey and putting it back to one piece, Jay held one hand out, the girl looked up, Jay's hand was still there, waiting for her response. Frowning, Eriko pushed her hand aside and walked back to her team, getting the hint that her team does not like that last battle, she decided to tell the crew about it.

'Awesome job!' Valt praised

'You sure caught her off guard, I would be too!' Honcho congratulated

Jay felt flattered at his comment, that's the first time she felt like that when a boy congratulates her. Shaking off the thought, she told the gang about the whole 'get out of my way' act, everyone simply agreed with her opinion, surely getting the idea. Sheila was the one who was keeping an eye on Chris, one of the team leaders, she was the one who... made friends with Sheila and abandoned her for another bunch of girls, she never told this to anyone, not even Shu, it's simply too much for them too handle.

When Valt won, he ran down the stage in victory, jumped into Shu's hug and Valt smothered him with slight tackles of pecks on the cheeks as Shu returned the favor by ruffling his hair. Sheila smiled at the scene, but it's not gonna last long, she's going face to face with her enemy.

Right?

(Le time skip)

The final battle was on, it was Sheila facing off Chris.

The two never spoke together, if they did it will always end up in a fight, physically I might add. All they did was glare at each other, in a death stare way, Sheila readied her launcher and her bey, Shero, to her suggestive stance, this time, she knew the battle is going to be different. Chris's glare was sharper, more defined, her launcher was upgraded, everything seems so conflicting.

Sheila and Shero glowed a amber aura around them, with their familiar stance, it was her legendary Night strike, people looked up to that move, the glare between the two just kept on getting worse. Chris and her bey, Century Chijito, glowed a dark shade purple, her thoughts racing in her minds as she is facing off her so-called friend.

Nothing is going well...
