I wake up to a sleeping Adrian. A smile forms on my lips. I am never going to get tired of this. It's been 3 months since we have started dating. I have never been happier. I think I am falling hard for him. At first, it was an attraction but now that I got to know him, I fell for who he is as a person. We spend time with each other whenever we are free. I sleep at his house sometimes and he at mine. Half of my stuff is at his house because it was easy that way to get ready and go to the hospital when I sleep there. I kissed him. He kisses me back.

"It's a good way of waking me up. I am never going to get tired of kissing you", he said deepening the kiss. We got caught up in the moment. I look at the clock and get up hurriedly.

"I am going to be late Adrian", I say running towards the bathroom.

"You didn't remember that a few minutes back when you were moaning my name", he smirked. I glared at him and went inside. I got ready and was leaving when Adrian called me.

"Ava, have your breakfast before you go", he said

"I will get late Adrian. I need to leave", I said going towards the door to put on my shoes. He pulled me and took me to the dining table.

"You are not going anywhere until you eat", he said folding his hands over his chest.

"Please Adrian", I said pleading and trying to go

"Not going to work. The faster you eat, the faster you will leave", he said blocking my way.

"Okay", I huffed and quickly had my breakfast and then I left. In the first half, I did ward rounds and checked a few out-patients. When I was going to lunch, I heard the news on TV saying something about Adrian. I went close and saw that the news was about a car accident and it was Adrian's car. After seeing that news I couldn't breathe. My legs were giving up. I held on to the chair beside me and tried to breathe. This can't be happening right now. It's not true I kept telling myself to make myself calm. I called Adrian's phone. My anxiety was increasing for every ring. No one lifts the call so I call Adrian's assistant Justin. He picked up the call.

"Hi Ms. Smith", he said

"Hi Justin, where is Adrian?", I asked praying that he would be okay.

"He is in Hopevale hospital....", he was still talking but I cut the call. I need to go there right now. I was not in a condition to drive so I took a cab. I reached there and rushed out of the car. I went to the reception and asked them about Adrian but she told me no one with that name has been admitted. I was about to call Justin when I saw him. Then I saw Adrian behind him. He was totally fine. I breathed in relief and quickly ran and hugged him.

"Ava, what are you doing here?", he asked confused.

"I saw the news about the accident. I called you but you didn't lift the call and then I called Justin. He told me you were here. So, I came here", I said and started crying.

"Shhh.., Ava, I am fine. Nothing happened", he said caressing my hair.

"But the news?", I asked wiping my tears

"The accident happened but I wasn't in the car. The driver got injured but they are only minor. I am here to see him", he said still holding me

"Oh okay"

"Let's go", he said taking me with him. We left for his house. I was silent the whole ride. When we went in, I sat on the couch and he came after me.

"Are you fine Ava?", he asked sitting beside me. I just snuggled closer to him feeling safe. I spoke after a while.

"You know that I lost my parents in an accident", I said and he hummed.

"It was when I was 13 and I was also there with them when it happened. In one moment, my whole life changed. When I heard the news about the accident, it reminded me of the accident with my parents and how I lost them. I got so scared. I didn't want to lose you too", I started crying. He just held me tighter.

"You are the strongest woman I have known. I can't imagine what you have gone through when you lost your parents but you have turned out into a fine woman. I am so proud of you", he said kissing my forehead. I looked into his eyes and saw pure emotion in them. I hugged him and stayed like that for a while listening to his steady breath and calming myself. He was slowly caressing my back.

"I love you, Adrian", I said looking straight into his eyes and his eyes twinkled with happiness.

"I love you too, Ava", he said grinning and crashing his lips onto mine. Oh my god, he loves me too. I just can't believe it.

"I fell for you the moment I saw you at the party", he said

"Which party?", I asked confused.

"The office party that you came to with Ben. That was when I first saw you. And after that it's only ever been you. I can't believe how I got so lucky". I wrapped my hands around his neck and kissed him. I don't want this moment to end. He gently lifted me up and we both went to bed. When I woke up it was already night. I was alone in the room. I went down and saw Adrian cooking. He was just wearing lounge pants. God, he keeps looking more handsome each time if that's even possible. Can't believe he's all mine. I came down and hugged him.

"I was about to wake you up. Dinner is ready. Let's eat", he said

"Yes, I am hungry but for you", I said nibbling his ear lobe. He took in a sharp breath.

"God you will be the death of me woman", he said running his hands through his hair.

"Let's eat first because you will need energy as I am going to go all night long", he said smirking. Holy shit, the whole night I squeezed my thighs in anticipation.

"I wanted to ask you one more thing", he said

"What is it?"

"Move in with me. I want us to stay together". Anyway, I was mostly living with him. This would make it official. I like spending time with him so I was happy.

"Ok sure", I said smiling. "I will move in once you come back from your work trip to LA. I don't want to stay here alone. I will miss you too much", I said

"Deal", he said grinning and kissed me.
