Ty and I walked through the cave ruins. Ty still had his arm draped around my neck for support. He still walked with a limp but the rest of him had already started healing swiftly do to his elemental powers. His breathing had evened out and he could form sentences without having to bite back in pain.

I told him we could stop and rest if he wanted but he refused, saying that he was fine each time I asked him. Which may have been about every five minutes.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, Larisa, for the sixth time I'm sure, I don't need to rest."

"But-"

"Larisa", He warned.

"Sorry."

We continued to make our way down the uneven cave floor. Thankfully, after a while, Ty began to walk on his own. He struggled a little at first, but I never left his side a caught him when he stumbled. Eventually, he no longer needed my help, but I stayed close.

We continued down the ruins of the cave walkway. Eventually, the ruins turned into a true stone brick walkway. Stone pillars held up the ceiling and large medieval torches hung from the wall in between them.

"We're in his tome, now. The closer we get to Zeref's real body the more guards there will be. So stay quiet and don't leave my side."

I nodded in response.

Ty led the way and I closely followed. We stuck close to the walls and made as little sound as possible.

It wasn't long before we heard the guards. We crept around the corner of the corridor and saw multiple Askari. The corridor opened into a larger room that looked like a loading bay of sorts. There were large containers and various boxes stored throughout the room. I could not tell what was in them, but I don't think I wanted to. Askari carried the boxes out in a line deeper into the tome. Several other Askari stood guard overseeing the whole process.

Suddenly the large stone doors across the room swung open with such force it made me jump slightly against Ty. He silently rested his hand on my knee resurging me as an amour clad figure stalked threw the door.

The armoured woman presents cased an eerie feeling into the room that even the Askari smelled to fear. I couldn't blame them the woman radiated power and fear that made me hide behind my cover of boxes even further. Her present even seemed to unsettle Ty whose body stiffen the moment he saw her face.

"Who is that?", I whispered.

"Ophelia. Zeref's General... and wife."

"Wife?"

"She was human once... they both were."

"What happened?"

"When Zeref was mortal he and Ophelia were both powerful sorcerers serving the same king. The king was greedy and he went to war with a much stronger kingdom to gain their land, but he bit off more than he could chew. The pair wanted him not to attack but the king didn't listen and the other kingdom retaliated and destroyed the king's army and Ophelia was captured in a raid. She was tortured and used for her magic. When Zeref got to her it was too late."

"She was dead."

"Yes. Even when he was mortal Zeref's magic was unrivalled, he destroyed both kingdoms in his fit of rage. When he was done he tried to bring his wife back, but even he had limits. After countless fails, he sawt out Krya and her library. Krya gifted him the knowledge and power to perform the task, but death is an undeniable force and the spell went wrong. Ophelia returned, but not really she was the first of Zeref's creatures of darkness and Zeref was cursed. With the knowledge from Krya's library, he cast a forbidden spell save himself and became immortal."

"Then the Arch dragons sealed him away?"

"Yep. They didn't like him disturbing the balance and him destroying everything he saw with his armies didn't help his case any either."

I turned back to Ophelia and she was yelling at Askari.

"You idiots! I need all of this cleared now or I'll give to Cerberus as a chew toy!"

The Askari scrambled around desperately pushed containers around. Happily adding to me and Ty's cover.

The Askari made quick work of the task and the center of the room was cleared. Ophelia huffed and moved aside as the large door opened again. This time several more Askari entered carrying a large wooden box. They sat the box down in the middle of the room and Ophelia ordered them to open it.

The white and black monster effortless pryed off the panels of the box. The box fell apart and I clasped my hand over my mouth to cover my gasp. Ty too turned his eyes from the bloody scene of Vokoun's decapitated head before us.

I couldn't help but close my eyes and turn from the dragon's head. The once bright opal scale now were painted in red blood and the amber eyes were dull and dead.

The sound of dark laughter forced me to open my eyes. To my surprise, Zeref himself stood next to Ophelia and gleamed happily at the head.

"Well done, my love. I knew I could count on you for a little job", Zeref said his voice echoed in the large room as he crested Ophelia chin in his hand.

"I live to please, my lord."

Zeref patted her cheek as he turned back to Vokoun. He bent down and opened the dragon's mouth. He reached in and grabbed one of the teeth and ripped it out. He stood and held the large fang in his hand and smiled darkly.

"The final piece for the spell. It's time for me to return to my former glory and continue my conquest after so many years of hiding in the shadows.", He laughed.

Two Askari came forward and presented a dragon horn and scale both wrapped in cloths to Zeref.

I realized the horn as Tenaglia. Anger and sadness sat like a rock in my stomach as I clenched my fist.

I felt Ty laid a hand on my shoulder and my fire instantly cooled.

"Ophelia take the items to my tome. I assume the preparation has already been made."

"Yes, my lord. All that needed is the Arch dragon bones and for you to cast the spell."

"Good. I grow tired of this body", Zeref replied as he and Ophelia walked deeper into the tome follower by the two Askari that carried the horn and scale.

I turned to Ty and held his finger to his mouth and motion for me to follow him. He navigated behind the stacks of boxes and we followed silently behind Zeref.

We quickly reached our destination. Zeref entered into a circular room in the middle sat a stone casket on a raised marble floor. Ty and I hide behind the pillars that supported the ceiling.

Zeref raised his hand and chatted a series of words I couldn't understand. When he finished a purple magic circle appeared under his feet.

The Askari placed Tenaglia's horn and Faranth's scale in the circle. Zeref then placed Vokoun's fang in the circle and it glowed even brighter.

Ty nodded at me and summoned his spear quietly. I followed in suit and unsheathed my sword. However we both froze when Zeref spoke.

" I always knew you were a fool Tyranis, but attacking me here is suicide and bringing your girlfriend along tisk tisk I thought you were a gentleman", Zeref said.

Ty growled to himself before he stepped out from behind the pillar and I followed.

Zeref smirked at us but before anyone had time to do anything serval Askari charged into the tome.

Two of them held a tired up Roy and Alex both of them coved in blood.

"Oh, good your friends are here."
