We swim for a while longer. The cool water felt good against my skin and aching body. However, boys stopped me from having my peace.

The boys were splashing each other. Laughing and smiling like little kids. I was laughing along at them until Alex got a brilliant idea.

Without me noticing he got behind, picked me up and placed me on his shoulders.

I yelped slightly at the action.

"What are you doing?", I question fearfully.

"Hold your breath", Alex laughed.

Fearfully. I took a deep breath and pinched my nose.

Alex jumped back sending both of us into the water with a huge splash. When we resurfaced I smiled evilly at Alex.

"This means war", I declared.

I jumped up and shoved Alex back under the water. Roy joined in by splashing me in the face. Ty came to aid by splashing Roy from the other side.

Jason tackled Ty into the water as Alex resurfaced.

Our water war raged on until the others surrendered and I was declared the winner.

We dried off and tiredly walked back to our rooms. When I got to my room I washed off and then promptly proceeded to belly-flop onto my bed.

I was enjoying my relaxing but short rest as I heard two familiar laughs and yelling outside my room.

Curiously I opened my door and I couldn't help but laugh at the scene before me.

Jason was standing in the doorway of his room, soaked to the bone and holding an empty ice bucket in one hand. Alex and Roy were in the hall laughing so hard their faces went red.

Jason ran and chased after them. The troublesome pair turned and ran down the hall. Jason ragefully threw the empty ice bucket at them.

The bucket hit Roy causing him to fall.

"Go on without me. Save yourself", Roy called out to Alex.

Alex turned swiftly on his heels and picked the smaller male in his arms.

"No bro left behind!", Alex yelled as they raced down the hall with Jason not further behind.

I laughed heavily as they rounded the corner out of sight. I look back and saw Ty laughing just as hard. He stood in the doorway of Jason and his shared room.

"I don't even regret helping them", he laughed.

"I would never take you for a prankster."

"Sardis was always the mischievous one, but even I like to cause a little trouble every now and then", he smirked.

"Jason will be pissed if he finds out you helped."

"True, might not be safe to sleep in my room tonight."

"There's enough room in my bed", I joked.

" I'm fine with that. I'll go change", Ty smirked as he closed the door.

"Wait, What!?!", I called but it was too late. He walked back to his room and closed the door behind him.

Oh my god, what have I gotten my self into?

It wasn't long before I heard a knock at my door. I open the door to see Ty standing before me. He wore long pajama pants and a pale yellow T-shirt.

"Hey."

"Hey", I replied sheepishly.

He sat down in the chair that was in the corner of the room. He was looking at me but it seemed he wasn't even aware I was here. His posture was off as he slouched in the bay chair.

"What's wrong?"

My words seemed to pull him out of his dazed state. He blinked then looked at me and smiled warmly.

"I'm fine, but there's something I have to tell you."

"Alright", I started as I sat down on the bed, " What is it?"

"When I was unconscious. I had a talk with my brother in the dreamscape."

"That's good. What did he say?"

"It wasn't what he said that bothers me. It was the fact that he could barely stand."

I was silent as Ty looked down suddenly very interested in the floor.

"We couldn't talk for long because of his condition. However, he told me...", He took a long pause before he spoke again. I waited patiently as he did, " He told me someone was working with Zeref. Although he acted as he thought I already knew."

He looked at me silently.

"I knew", I said barely above a whisper.

"I know."

More silence entered the room. Ty was the one to break it with only one word.

"Why."

I gave a short dry laugh before answering.

"You were unconscious. And when you woke up I didn't what to worry you. More than you already were."

He smiled as he leaned back in the chair.

" I suppose that's a good answer. I guess that the same reason I didn't tell you until now."

"How so?"

"I care for you and don't want to worry you."

"Thanks, Ty."

He smiled at me and rose from the chair.

"I'll see you in the morning, alright."

"I thought you wanted to stay the night?"

"Oh, no. That was a joke. I came here because I need to talk to you about everything.", Ty explained as he walked to the door.

"Stay", I blurted out before I even realized I said it.

Ty turned around to face me, looking shocked.

"Are you sure?", he asked lowly.

"Well I mean like...you're already here and I thought you might like too.", I stuttered.

"Alright."

He walked back to the bed where I sat. He quietly peeled off his shirt. Once again I was in a daze as I saw his body. His well-toned abs and chest. The scars that decorated his body was oddly beautiful. He laid down on the opposite side of me moving his arms above his head.

I couldn't stop myself as I stared down at his body. I was so mesmerized I didn't notice Ty staring back at me.

"You're staring.", Ty stated.

I quietly tore my eyes away from him and faced the wall to hide my blush form being caught.

I heard him laughing at my actions before he spoke.

"It's alright. Which story do you want to hear?"

"What?", I questioned as I turned back to him.

"Every scar tells a story. Pick one and I'll tell you."

"Really?"

He only nodded in response. I took a moment before I looked back down at him again. My eyes wander before I decided on a long scar that ran down his chest on the left side. I reached down and ran my fingertips across it.

"This one."

"The Trojan war. I was fighting for the Greeks. During the final siege of Troy, a Trojan soldier got a lucky hit. Cut straight through my armor. "

"What were you doing there?", I asked silently shocked.

"No dark armies to fight. I got bored so I join their war to keep my skills sharp.", Ty shrugged.

I laughed at his careless charm. I looked back down at him and ran my fingers along another scar round that was on his right. This one was a small but deep cut.

Ty gave a short laugh for answering.

"That one I'm not proud of. I was still learning to fly with Raikou and I thought it would be a good idea to stand up. Long story short it wasn't. I fell and impaled myself on a tree. However, on the bright side that's when I learned I was an elemental."

I couldn't contain my laughter as he explained. He smiled at me and let me laugh. Still laughing I pointed to another scar on upper his chest that ran to his back.

As my fingers touch the scar he flinched under my touch and I knew I had made a mistake. My smile faded as he was quiet.

"I was born in a time when fathers wanted their sons to be strong. And I wasn't going to let him touch my brother.", Ty said with venom in his tone.

His words silenced me as I laid down for the night deciding I didn't want to hear any more stories. I turned to face away from him making sure there was space between us.

Shortly after, I felt a pair of strong arms wrap around me and pull me into Ty's chest. He buried his face in my back as I fell asleep and at that moment I had never felt safer.
