I really wanted to check my weight,

but I didn't.

I forced myself not to.

I've been eating from time to time,

and that might not have been a lot,

but it was something at least.

Dad was the first one to notice that I'd gain a little weight,

probably a couple of pounds or so.

Your silent stares have followed me around during the week.

And honestly?

It makes me extremely nervous.

Whenever you're right beside me

I feel my pulse jump

and my blood starts sizzling with heat.

And the worst part

is that I don't even know why.

I don't know if it's still fear

or excitement

or anger

or what.

And that scares me.

You scare me.

But it's okay.
