Hi. I'm not Alana. I am in fact the author of this wild book. I asked you guys to ask me questions in the last chapter and you guys actually did! Thank you by the way! Let's get started!

At the beginning of the story, the very first chapter, it starts with a bunch of texts in italics of Shawn talking to fans at a Q&A and they asked him if he'd ever sacrifice his career for love. I'll insert the text here:

"Would you ever sacrifice your career for love?", a fan asks Shawn at one of his Q&As on his Illuminate world tour.

The group of people sitting in the room with him begin to chuckle as Shawn was taking his time to answer the question.

"I don't- I don't know because I've never experienced like true love I don't think. So I'd like to sit here and say no but I honestly don't know. Maybe."

This was actually a real video which I sadly cannot find anymore but I remember seeing this video and getting inspired to write a story that was loosely based on it. Also, I'm a really big daydreamer and I've been yearning to write a Shawn fan fiction for a while prior to seeing that video.

I actually don't know the answer to this question. I feel like Shawn and Alana are in a really good place in the story so there wouldn't be any conflict between them, I would hope. But if I think of something good, I'll definitely add it in.

I usually try to publish a chapter at least once a week but there have been many times where I published more than one. Basically, what I do is I write the chapter, read through it, then publish it. Once the story is over, I'm going to go through and edit the whole thing.

I have to be honest with you. When I was thirteen, I was a pretty big fan of Riverdale and I had a whole fanfic for it that had at least five chapters and they were all terrible. The book does not exist anymore.

I wish I did. BUT I did watch him perform on July 11th of this year in Sacramento which is where Alana met Shawn for the first time!

Hmmm. Good question. I honestly don't know? I'm totally cool with Shawn and Camila dating and I'm super glad that their happy together. It's just kinda confusing, you know? It all happened so quickly. One moment, Senorita comes out and Camila is with Matthew, her ex-boyfriend. Then the next week, they split and Shawn and Camila are instantly seen making out in public? I feel like we're missing a piece of the puzzle.

Yes! I have a couple of fun ideas in mind and I'm super excited about them! I want to finish this one first though.

No. I never told any of them but they do know that I am a huge fan of Shawn. They think I'm crazy and it's true.

Mmm. Not that I can think of at the moment. But there are always crazy parallels that happen in the book that later happen in real life. For example, earlier in the book, Shawn has to go into a PR stunt with Camila so it makes him look like he was cheating on Alana. I wrote that part in April and later, in July, Shawn and Camila go public about their relationship and everyone assumed that it was a PR stunt. It's kind of a huge coincidence if you ask me and I wasn't expecting it to be honest.
