Jungkook's POV

"What's wrong with Leah?" Hoseok asks.

I turned my stare towards Lee who is sitting there in the same place since she came here staring blankly at the wall.

She never participated in any of our conversations. Didn't share her thoughts at all.

Now we all are standing in Mia's kitchen preparing something to eat for the time being. No one is going to leave until Mia wakes up.

"I will take her to the mart with me and talk to her, do you need any groceries or anything?" I said, Yoongi frowned at Lee but quickly masked his worry.

He looked at me startled as I was looking at him" No we don't need anything ". I nodded. I walked up to her.

Leah slowly looked up, jutting my chin towards the door

" Let's go".

I didn't need to tell her twice; she quietly followed me. The pharmacy is just ten minutes away from Mia's place so we walked there.

A small silence stretched between us as we walked side by side. I cleared my throat, catching Leah's undivided attention.

"What's wrong? You haven't said a word since you reached Mia's place".

She sighed looking down while biting her lower lip " I am a bad friend". She mumbled

My eyebrows creased silently waiting for her to continue what she meant by that.

"Today I said some things to Mia which I shouldn't have said. I just thought she was doing the same old thing again, running away. I didn't know she was going through so much and I just". Her voice cracked a little, I was confused but still listened.

"You know Mia thinks if there is problem in relationship then you cut that relationship off to solve the issue rather than coming to a mutual understanding. If feelings got involved the first one to turn around and run away was her. I always thought she was not ready, she couldn't trust her insecurities. She had her reasons and some could justify but I thought it was not fair for you. "

She paused looking at me.

"I confronted her that it's getting annoying. She needs to stop without knowing what her reason was. She has a tendency to just shut people out which is getting unhealthy. You know what she did. She just listened to every word I said. I feel such a bitch for saying that who will understand her Jungkook if I didn't.I fucked up".

"That makes two of us. I did too. I was being so self centered, prick making everything about myself should have listened to why she did what she did. Why did she hide it without saying a word". I pulled her closer by her shoulder comforting her.

"It's fine she will understand why you did that Lee,she knows you are a great friend, her best friend. You were just worried about her."

"I hope so". She mumbled.

Mia will definitely understand I bet she didn't even hold anything against Leah.

When Mia had a breakdown, whatever she said she didn't mean something she was just angry. Angry at everything and I fueled some too.

We reached the chemist as I handed the prescription to the guy with the lab coat. Dr Jane, my family doctor came to check up on Mia. I called her after Mia fainted worried just to make sure that there's nothing serious. Fainting suddenly might be from shock or stress but just wanted to make sure.

Jane said she has not been eating or sleeping properly. This may be because of her constant nightmares so she gave Mia some injections which will help her sleep for a few hours, drip saline too for her weakness.

"I don't think it will be enough, can you add a few more". I said worriedly looking at the nutrients prescribed by Jane.

She is too weak.

"Jungkook, that's more than enough and if she needs more we can buy anytime". Leah said, patting my arm.

I contemplated biting my lower lip, sighing as I nodded. I will make sure she eats her meals properly otherwise I am going to force her to do so. I am going to take care of her.

"We are back". Leah smiled entering the kitchen everyone looked at her smiling. They looked relieved.

The question which was Bothering me for a while since Dr. Jane asked me to confirm if what I am thinking is true or not.

"Yoongi''. I called him, he raised his eyebrows at me still continuing his task"For how long was Mia on antidepressant and sleeping pills? You said she is clean for a while now and she stopped them this year. Is she? ".

Yoongi froze and no one said a word. A silence feels again. It's been happening a lot today, a way of not knowing how to deal with a situation.

Jimin broke the silence" Mia was suicidal". My whole body freezed a cold shiver ran down through my spine.

"When you all asked why didn't I try to tell you the truth I did. I went to Mia's house explaining everything to her parents because I needed James' help too for ceasing those videos." Jimin started

"I was going to tell Mia everything so when I reached her room. She was in shower and her mother said she was in there for a while. I didn't think much but I heard running water pattering on the floor. My instincts kicked in as I called her a few times banging the door for her to open the door. Jamming my shoulder trying to open the door".

I holded my breath fearing the worst.

" She didn't, hearing my shout her parents came into the room. James saw and quickly opened the drawers, handing me the key. I opened the door and saw her body slouched under water. I pulled her out not caring about anything wrapping her body with a towel bringing her to the bedroom. "

Jimin rubbed his face with his hands"She was not breathing". My face turned pale even though it had already happened but my mind and body was not thinking straight. It was going through the whole scenario. I could imagine her face. I was so scared.

"James Already called a doctor, I was so frantic till she was breathing. When she coughed out some water looking at me with her droopy hazy eyes. She lifted her hand to brush my tears even when she was in pain she cared about everyone more than herself. She was too tired as she slept. That's when we saw the marks on her thighs, self harm marks. She cut herself, no one would have noticed there".

"I can understand how you feel Jimin". Yoongi said as Jimin looked so pained having to remember that again "I saw her almost dying. Blood around her, she was covered in blood."

I couldn't take it anymore as I just left from there . I can only feel better and calm around only one person. I will feel at ease if I see her.

I need to calm my racing heart, my whole body is shaking in fear. I couldn't even imagine how much my Mia went through.

The distance between the kitchen and her room is so far.

I need to see Mia. I want her in my arms.
