Squinting my eyes from the sunlight I strided my way towards the car parked in my driveway.

Jimin was leaning against his car, glasses adoring his face. He wore black jeans paired with black jacket and a grey shirt underneath a red necklace dangling with it. He pushed his hair back, a habit he didn't seem to let go.

He smiled at me, opening his arms for a hug, as I neared the smile dimmed.

"What the hell Mia?"

He pulled me to him, I looked at him with my chin on his chest. He was still leaning so he looked down holding my cheek in his hand.

"You look awful". I rolled my eyes at him, slightly glaring at him.

"You know how to make a girl feel better, such a gentleman".

He frowned at me"I am serious, you took off from school to take care of yourself, this is how you take care of yourself ".

" Hey I am okay, just weak I will be fine". He hummed kissing my forehead before opening the door for me.

I giggled getting in '' Well who hired you as my chauffeur for today? ".

He laughed while walking the other side of the car. Throwing a bag at me he glanced at me pointing towards the bag" Your breakfast ".

I looked inside the bag where the sandwiches were nicely packed with chocolates.

"Jungkook told me to give you, knowing you didn't eat your breakfast and chocolates are to lift your mood."

I was not even surprised, I glanced at the food on my lap it's free food and chocolates. How can I say no to that.

"Thank you". I murmured.

"Thank your boyfriend". He said mockingly. "He said I can't eat any of those it's just for you".

I scowled at him" He is not my boyfriend ".

" Yeah sure and I can't dance".

" Eyes on the road ". I huffed at him not wanting him to see the red tinge on my cheeks.

" He is depressed, moping the whole day. He doesn't even talk nor eat much. I don't want to intrude but what happened you both seem a little distant ". He said worriedly.

I keep avoiding and shutting him out without an explanation. That's what it is.

"Nothing happened, it's just a phase we will pass hopefully."

He nodded trying to decipher the meaning behind my words. "Did he do something?".

I was getting annoyed now " Why do you all think he did something? It could be me, I must have done something wrong."

Everyone thought Jungkook was at fault when all he was trying to do is help me. He didn't hurt me, it's quite the opposite. I am hurting him.

Jimin sighed, rubbing my back, I didn't even know we are in the parking lot." Calm down, I am just asking. "

I grunted rubbing my face in frustration "No I am Sorry. I should have said it rather than snapping at you."

"So tell me what did you do then Mia?".

I sighed looking at my fingers"I am hurting him".

He took my hand in his urging me to look at him"Why? ".

" I don't know ". I mumbled embarrassed, I really didn't know what I was doing. Is it even right?

" If you need to talk, you can tell me anytime, okay? ". He smiled" Noe get out of the car ".

" How's Niara by the way? '' I swear I saw him smirk. He casually put his arm on my shoulder.

" Good I guess".

I gave him a weird look,Jimin just shrugged laughing

"Jimin?". He just hummed, I hesitated before asking him"You think Jen is here? In the town right now". I resisted the urge to fidget.

Completely baffled, he turned to me"What? why are you asking this suddenly? ".

Shit I completely caught him off guard" No it's nothing just curious, haven't seen her in years just wondering if she left the town".

"Do you think I am stupid? You would care less if she is her or not, what happened did you met her".

He was panicking looking at me worriedly.

It's not Jen, we should be worried about Nathan. I meet her brother who is threatening me. I can't say this to him; he will kill Nathan if he comes to know. I would be happy but not if Jimin's whole life would be ruined because of one reckless act.

Nathan's family is well off, quite difficult to try something. Being socially respected and having money to shut the higher ups. This is one of the reasons the case was closed off. My dad has connections too, but he did everything in his power to close the case off. He thought it was best not being included. Nathan's family offered settlement, dad closed the case with one condition which was they could be nowhere near me. They even had restraining orders against him which don't seem to matter now. I was grateful at that time. Now I don't know if I am.

My parents did what they thought was good for me. I don't blame them.

We entered the classroom taking our seats" I told you, I was just curious. "

He looked at me not believing a word I said but chose not to say anything. He furrowed his brows looking at me but let the topic go seeing my mood.He knows better than bringing the topic up.

He changed the topic, telling me about the arcade Hoseok's and he went. I was trying to listen to what he was telling me but my attention was taken away from the stare I have been feeling since I entered the room.

Jungkook's stare was a burning hole on the side of my head, when I entered we made eye contact I quickly averted my gaze from him.

Nothing eventful happened yesterday after my panic attack, I basically kicked him out. Why won't he just believe what I told him, it will become easier.

"You can't say that it's blasphemy!" Jimin alleged.

"It's true mint chocolate is best flavour ever." Leah retorted, I scrunch my nose in disgust at her showcase of love for mint chocolate.

"That's atrocious". Jimin looked at her like she just insulted his whole family. "Mint chocolate should not be even considered as a flavour".

"C'mon Jimin, don't be so dramatic, some people like mint chocolate, everyone has a right to choose". Hoseok said trying to lighten the mood, Jimin was not having any of it.

"I respect their choices, if they like it so much please eat it at home seeing those stupid thing besides other flavours ew". Jimin made a face, causing me to giggle. He quickly turned to me" It's true, remember if they want mint chocolate so much just brush your teeth".

Yeah Imagine his horror when he saw a small amount of mint chocolate in his dough chocolate.

"Yeah I second that, I hate mint chocolate with passion". I chirped as Jimin and I high hived at their disbelieved looks.

"It's like I am brushing my teeth and I hate that". Jimin said slumping in his chair as I nodded.

"You hate brushing your teeth, it's not like someone is telling you to eat it, you don't have to swallow it". Leah accused. "It's a refreshing flavour".

"I do, I accidentally swallow it when I am brushing my teeth which ruins my whole morning". I grumbled sticking my tongue out at her, Jungkook giggled besides her looking at me amused.

"How on the earth do you swallow it?" Leah asked, looking like I am insane.

"Well when someone is lazy and grumpy early in the morning it happens". Jungkook grinned answering before I can retort.

"I am not grumpy or lazy." I scowled at him"It just feels like a task waking up having energy to brush your teeth only to ruin your taste buds".

"Sure". Jungkook smiled

"Hey! It's true". I almost whined before grumbling "I knew I hated you for a reason".

I didn't mean that, I was being playful. Jungkook seems to believe otherwise his face fell as I said a blank look on his face. No one saw he quickly recovered, giving me a small smile.

"Wait, why aren't you eating?". He frowned, as everyone turned tk me even Jimin and Lee stopped their fight to look at me.

I shuffled uncomfortably "I already ate".

He opened his mouth to argue but cut off by Daniel,I sighed in relief.

"Hey Mia". Daniel greeted me.

"Hey Daniel, how are you?". I asked.

"I am good". He chirped looking around my table nodding his head to acknowledge others. An audible silence fell as I didn't know what to say.

It was awkward as he stood there, Jungkook glaring at him. Jimin tried to look at him without being caught but failed miserably. Yoongi blandly stared at him, Hobi being hobi was just welcoming and cheerful. Daniel shifted from one foot to another.

I cleared my throat " Hm I read the report, it was great, good job".

He beamed at me" Thanks, Rhea did most of the work."

I offered him a smile" Hey I heard you left the committee. Why did you leave the committee? ".

He looked confused, I closed my eyes.

" You left the committee ". Everyone gaped at me, Jungkook just looked at me with an unreadable expression.

I didn't tell them" Yes, it's just a few months before we graduate". I bit the side of my cheek.

"Daniel? " He just hummed waiting for me to speak.

I nervously bit my lip" Would you like to grab a coffee? ".

Daniel stood there staring at me with a shocked face, Jimin audibly choked. Lee, Hobi and Yoongi gaped at me. Jungkook scoffed looking away.

" Yes sure". Daniel said, still surprised.

I gave him a smile"Ok see you later".

After he left, Jimin grabbed my face, turning it around to check something. Jungkook stood up and left without a word. My eyes followed his disappearing figure.

"What's wrong with you?" Lee asked, finally regaining her brain cells.

"What? It's just a coffee, no big deal." I defended. I don't owe anyone an explanation even if I asked Daniel for a reason.

"Yeah but—

Yoongi cut her off" Don't she is not a small kid, let's leave her alone".

Lee glared at Yoongi who glared back at her, Jimin coughed.

Hobi gave me a thumbs up, Jimin hit him in his head whispering something. Hobi looked at me with wide eyes.

I closed my eyes, slumping in exasperation.
