"(Y/n)..." the voice sang sweetly "I've decided to paint the walls of your house red today..."
"A-ALIVIA!?" you squeaked. "WHA- DON'T DO THAT!?"
Unfortunately, Alivia was in her own world, probably blinded from the amount of testosterone she had been dealing with recently, so right now your words were not getting through to her. Instead, she held up one of your kitchen knives with a simple smile. This was her breaking point.
'It would be Alivia! Of course, it would be Alivia!' you wept bitterly
"ROOM! (Y/n)-ya's friend or not, if you've harmed my crew members then even you have to pay" Law acted swiftly, eager to remove the threat that was now before him.
Light blue now tinted your vision as you watched the two fairly dangerous people prepare for the worst.
'They're going to fight... They're going to start fighting...' And it was in that moment, your mind achieved an unwavering sense of clarity and calm. A kind of clarity and calm that would allow you to step out from behind Law, walk between the two hazardous individuals, take a nice deep breath, and say...
"WHAT THE HELL DO YOU TWO THINK YOU'RE DOING IN MY HOUSE!?!"
If stepping into the crossfire wasn't enough to snap the two out of their narrow-minded vision then that certainly did it. Both Alivia and Law jolted from your sudden outburst.
"I have one rule in this house" you uttered "One very simple rule" you reiterated heavily stressing the 'very'.
The two eyeballed you with unknowing anticipation.
"There is to be no violence while you're in my home" you growled.
————————————————————————
"(Y/n) please stop!" Alivia pleaded "You're still recovering"
"You can't keep doing this (Y/n)-ya" Law leaned against the doorway with his arms crossed. "You need to rest"
Even though he was saying it he had no intention of physically stopping you.
"He's right (Y/n)!" Alivia whined, "I already apologised for trying to start a fight so you don't have to do this anymore!"
"No!" You stubbornly replied "You two were fighting in my house which could only mean one thing! You're both really hungry! So you're going to wait until I finish dinner and we're all going to eat and feel better" you concluded swaying dangerously.
'That's right!' You reassured yourself 'Food makes everyone better and I'm sure that's why they feel this way... I've neglected my duties as an ideal housewife'
You continued to fry your rice with newfound determination, before whisking up some eggs and adding some seasoning. Bepo was happily washing the vegetables in the corner of the kitchen whilst Sachi and Penguin diced up all the ingredients, a precaution Law had put in place to prevent any accidents you might make in your drowsy state. The stir fry was a quick and filling meal you could make for everyone to enjoy, that's what you loved about it. But even if this was a simple dish you were still quite tired so your body would occasionally start to fall asleep and dangerously away.
Alivia sighed and Law just shrugged. Ever since you stormed out of the room to the kitchen the two of them found a common ground in your well-being. As such, they became surprisingly civil. Both watching you like a hawk to ensure your safety after previous events.

"We've finished the task here (Y/n)!" Sachi announced
Bepo proudly brought the large bowl of diced ingredients to your attention
"Man this is gonna taste great" Penguin beamed
Thankfully when Liv had entered previously she'd only scared them to the point of screaming, but no harm was physically done, something you readily believed as her presence made giants nervous.
"Thank you very much you guys" you gave a tired smile as well as l unconditional head-pats in your state of stupor. "I'm sure it'll taste amazing"
'So soft...' you grinned.
Alivia faced palmed, recognising this symptom of exhaustion. Instead of your typical hesitant admiration for hair, boundaries went out the window and you'd just give head-pats to anyone within your vicinity. They could be screaming at you but all you'd do is smile and gently rub their head in a soothing manner, somehow always de-escalating the situation. You didn't even notice how red your current victims were, steam billowing from their ears.
"Look (Y/n), I only came here to say goodbye" Alivia explained as she placed her hands on her hips.
"Goodbye?" You abruptly stopped your head-pats. "But we just came back"
"Sachi, Penguin finish the frying, Bepo help me set the table" Law ordered now that you were successfully distracted.
"Y-Yes Captain" they all jumped to life, still red from the calming experience they just had.
"Wha!? B-But I-!" You were about to protest but Liv quickly pulled you out of the kitchen to talk to you more privately.
"Listen to me (Y/n)" she whispered still clutching your hands in hers, you were both huddled in the conservatory "I know you, and I know that something else happened while we were on whole cake"
She was staring at your gentle hands which were wrapped in hers.
"...If you don't want to tell me it's fine" she breathed and pulled you into a hug "but best believe that no matter where I am or what time it is, I'm ready to listen to whatever you want to tell me. Don't hesitate to call me cause it's still my top priority to look after you"
'Alivia...'
No matter how tired you were, you were able to take in the seriousness of the conversation. Reciprocating the hug you buried your face into Liv's shoulder.
"Well, I mean, getting famous is obviously my top top priority but then your next! You're definitely next!" She chuckled
'I should've known better'
"Alivia!" you groaned and tried to pull away from this betrayal of a hug.
You failed of course because Liv was hella strong.
"I'm teasing! I'm teasing! Don't be like that (Y/n)!" She grinned "I'm going to be gone for a few days and I'll be back before you know it, but I don't want you working in the bakery until I get back, ok?"
After giving up your pointless struggle you exhaled and went back for the hug. She was too comfy to resist.
"I won't make promises, just stay safe and don't overdo it" You smiled
"Oh puh-lease" she pulled away "you're the last person I want to hear that from"
As you left the conservatory Alivia headed for the front door. You gave a querying look which she responded with:
"I have no intention of eating with those pirates" she spat "Law! You only got away because you punched that sleaze-bag Axel but the next time we meet I'll be 200 million berry richer" she growled

The room tinted blue and you panicked when one of your kitchen spatulas were lobbed in her direction.
"Shambles!"
As Liv caught the supposed utensil it became a tub of freshly made fried rice. The two women stared in surprise at the Tupperware. The blue veil disappeared and Law emerged from the dining room.
"Don't be upset because I'm doing your job better than you" he taunted as he wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you close so he could rest his chin on your head. You watched as Liv's murderous intent slowly began to seep through the cracks of her fake smile. And Law, being Law, couldn't help himself.
"Jealousy is a disease Amazon-ya" he smirked "get well soon"
Alivia slammed the front door with such force it was a miracle the foundations of the house didn't crumble beneath you.
"Why do you always do that?" You sighed, your hand unconsciously giving him a head pat.
"I have no idea what you're talking about" he monotonously replied "dinners ready, eat and go back to bed" he ordered.
"Yea yea, but next time I'm making breakfast" you yawned as you drifted lazily to the table. "And wash your hands!"
—————————————————————————————————————
"Shanks...? Where's Benn?" You sighed
"Aw! Don't be like that! I'm just here to show you some support!" Shanks threw a quick smirk in your direction.
"You've been lurking around the bakery just smiling for half an hour and it's been scaring off most of my regulars!" you groaned
'And is it just me or is he being ruder to the guys'
"Ok! Ok! I get it! If I buy something I can stay" He gave you his usual cheeky smile, which bounced right off of you
'When did I ever say that?' You whimpered 'Benn! Where are you!?'
The figure in the doorway was clearly irritated which warranted very different responses between you and Shanks.
"CAPTAIN!" Benn growled "STOP GIVING (Y/N) TROUBLE! SHE'S ALREADY PUT HER NECK OUT FOR US! CAN'T YOU AT LEAST PAY HER BACK WITH RESPECT!"
"But Benn-!" Shanks smiled, oblivious to his own impending doom.
"Hurry up and buy something, tell her what she needed to know and go!" Benn snapped.
'Benn!! you're a literal angel in disguise!!' You praised.
"Fine" Shanks sighed
Snatching up two blueberry muffins he casually strolled to the counter and placed them down.
"Two blueberry muffins...Is that all sir?" You quipped monotonously as you calculated the prices
"And one extra smile please!" Shanks beamed
A dry laugh was forced from your lips before a gun handle slammed down on Shank's head.
"YOU COULDN'T AFFORD THAT EVEN IF YOU WANTED TO!!!" Benn fumed "Nevermind! here!"
Benn ragged the surprised captain by the collar and tossed some coins over his shoulder, which turned out to be way more than the price of two muffins. As soon as he hit the door he halted and swivelled slightly to look you dead in the eye.
"This guy is throwing a party in your honour later on Turn up or I'll have to deal with him whingeing for the whole night" and with that, he left.
'I'm pretty sure that was a threat...' you sweat-dropped.
——————————————————————————————
"PRINCESS!! YOU FINALLY CAME!!" Shanks jumped you as soon as you came aboard the Red Force
His arm was securely wrapped around your neck; the strong stench of alcohol was heavy on his breath and the alcohol, in question, was safe and secure in his hands. Normally the action would've bothered you but the alcohol was so pungent it was starting to make you dizzy.
"I came out of pity, I couldn't leave Benn to babysit you" you scrunched up your face and turned away to avoid the smell.
Shanks took the words to heart and the action personally and begun to sulk in the corner while the crew laughed. It wasn't very difficult to figure out what kind of drunk Shanks was.
"That was so lame Captain" Yassop staggered towards you laughing heartily "It's good to know (Y/n) won't have trouble dealing with drunks like you"
'You that you are also drunk' You sighed as you made your way over to Shanks to help him up
"Princess...." Shanks face transformed from utter disappointment to complete delight as you patted his head. "AH, PRINCESS! YOU'RE TOO GOOD FOR THIS WORLD"
"So I've been told" you let slip an airy laugh "how much did you drink Shanks? Your breath smells flammable"
'In reality, I'm just using this opportunity to play with your pretty red hair... It's so pretty!!' you fangirled 'forgive me, Shanks'
"Don't worry about them (Y/n)" Luckyroo chomped on a piece of meat "They're just happy you made it"
"Ah! Luckyroo! It's good to see you!" you smiled
"Why didn't you welcome me like that Princess?" Shanks grumbled
"Stop it Captain" Benn re-lit his smoking pipe "If you want a nice welcome then you need to give one first, what you're doing is embarrassing"
"... You're right Benn" Shanks sobered up so quickly you almost questioned whether he was ever drunk in the first place. "Well, everyone... Why don't we give (Y/n) a proper pirate welcome!?"
A resounding cheer of agreement boomed across the deck, resonating within and beneath the wooden floorboards. All around crew members started throwing out suggestions as to what they could do to welcome you properly, most of them trying to get you drunk.
"Hold on a second!" you raised your hand "I didn't bring anything so how about I earn my keep with a shanty Liv taught me"
Your suggestion got a lot of drunk cheers as well as Shanks throwing his hands up in the air in excitement spilling more than half his drink in the process.
'What a waste...'
"Princess is gonna perform for us!!!" He cheered before turning threateningly to the crew "You guys better appreciate this or I'll beat the crap outta all of ya"
"It's a shanty Shanks, anyone and everyone can join" you smiled.
Borrowing a tambourine from one of the crew musicians you began to stomp your foot and play encouraging others to do the same.
Cheers were raised high as you were lifted into the air by Yassop who'd, with surprising ease, lifted you onto his shoulders so you wouldn't be completely rushed by pirates. Laughter filled the air, bar Shanks' who wanted to be the one to celebrate with you, but the night was young and you found out soon enough that the Red hair pirates knew how to spend it.
