《Welcome home - One Piece x Reader》A Whole Cake Welcome

-------------------------------------------------------------———
"This place is amazing!!!" you praised. "It looks like a wonderland pulled straight out of a dream" You breathed
"It's more like the land of diabetes" Liv whispered to you causing you to give her a gentle nudge.
Right now you were strolling through the main streets of Whole cake island, admiring the deliciously designed structures that were present. It was crowded and much livelier than anything you'd ever experienced. People of all different races were walking around and conversing with each other happily. Everything here was so fast-paced. Your island had a lot of different races but it couldn't hold a candle to whole cake island, pun very much intended. Even Alivia was impressed and she'd traveled quite a bit herself.
"Don't fall behind you two" Oven laughed at your curious face. "I bet you're happy you walked through that mirror now, aren't ya?"
"Oh, hush" Liv snapped.
In front of you, three Charlotte brothers led the way, as Brulee had opted out to go back to her home in the woods and finish off some and Daifuku had no interest in playing chaperone. It had taken such a long time to convince Liv that the mirror was safe, and the person who was most drained was definitely Daifuku.
------------------------------------------------------------
"You want me to walk through the mirror?" Liv repeated for the fifth time.
"Brulee is a devil fruit user. Think of it as a portal to another world and not a mirror" you assured.
"That's exactly what it is though" Katakuri sighed
"It's 100% safe" you smiled.
"... But it's a mirror" She deadpanned
"That's it!" Daifuku snapped and picked up Liv.
"H-HEY PUT ME-! NO DON'T!!!" She screamed as Daifuku stormed off into the mirror.
You sweatdropped as you witnessed your friend get dragged into a portal against her will.
"Kata, did you see this outcome?" you asked as you stared at the mirror
"Yes, but I wanted payback for the circus comment" He deadpanned and his siblings smirked in approval.
"...I see..." you chuckled nervously. " But if it bothered you guys that much, why didn't you stop Liv from saying those things?" You asked "NOT THAT I WANT YOU TO!" you quickly corrected.
"Katakuri was right not to!" Perospero sighed. "Believe it or not, your friend has a lot of influence in underground trades. To try and silence her would not benefit us in the slightest pero-lick" Perospero explained.
"Is that so..." you looked quizically at the mirror your friend had disappeared into.
'What kind of business are you running Liv?'
--------------------------------------------------------------
"We're here" Oven's voice brought you back from your thoughts.
You had all gathered around a fancy looking tailor shop, built from what looked like sponge cake and icing. There was a small sign on the front with a little dress and a suit on it. The window frames made out of candlesticks and on the inside, you caught a glimpse of rows upon rows of dresses.
"Big mum is in here?" You knitted your brows together.
"No" Perospero answered "You need to be dressed appropriately before you meet her"

"That makes sense" Liv placed her hands on her hips. "I guess we did leave in a rush, and (Y/n) has been baking all morning. But to buy an entire outfit appropriate for the presence of a Yonko..."
"All expenses will be covered by-"Katakuri started
"LET'S GO SHOPPING (Y/N)!" Liv beamed before sprinting into the store.
'No seriously? How has she survived this long?' you panicked
"I-I'm so sorry, I'll keep her under control" you apologized profusely.
"Don't worry about it, I saw it coming" Katakuri spoke calmly, his gaze following your friend before making its way to you. "For now, we will be parting ways here"
'Parting ways? As in splitting up?'
"We've all got work to do (Y/n)" Oven seemed to read your mind "We won't be leaving you alone though, our sisters have been informed about the situation and are waiting to assist you inside"
'When did you have time to do that?'
"Right! Th-Thank you for taking us this far, I hope we can see each other again soon" you waved.
"Likewise/I look forward to it" Oven and Perospero spoke in unison whilst Katakuri settled for a nod.
You couldn't help but laugh at the brothers who simply blinked at each other in surprise before smiling and taking their leave. Waiting for them to disappear from your sight would be impossible, they were huge after all, so you proceeded to enter the dress shop with the intention of steering the Charlotte family away from bankruptcy.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Think of a color wheel and then multiply it by a rainbow twice. That was the view you had unpreparedly walked into and you were dumbfounded. Beautifully decorated ribbons, cloths, and materials lined the interior of the building, with a few manikins spread here and there with the traditional folk town designs you'd seen around the island.
"Wow..." you breathed as you tried to take the sudden change of environment in.
"pretty right?" a voice sighed.
"truly..." you muttered.
'Wait what?' It took your brain to register that you were participating in an actual conversation with someone.
The owner of the voice approached you with a warm smile on her face. She had short pink pigtails in her hair and lovely thick lips. Following close behind her was a little girl who was most certainly younger than you. Her luscious brown hair was captured into two pigtails and her forehead was covered with side-swept bangs. It was adorable.
"You must be (Y/n)" she held out her hand to shake yours.
"Y-yes, that's me" you blurted out quickly as your hand shot out to shake hers.
She was slightly taken aback by your reaction but brushed it off with a giggle.
"There's no need to be so nervous, my name is Charlotte Chiffon but you can just call me Chiffon. Big brother Katakuri asked me to look after you for a little while" she explained.
'So she's a Charlotte' you pieced together. 'I thought they were all tall...'
"Thank you for having me" you smiled before looking at the girl behind her "And who might you be?"

You knelt so that you could reach the eye level of the girl who was still trying to hide behind her Chiffon. She flinched from the sudden shift in attention and held on tighter to Chiffons' dress.
"This is pudding my younger sister" Chiffon stated "She's very shy around strangers but she was very keen on helping Big brother Katakuri as well"
"I see" you smiled at her "Well it's very nice to meet you pudding, I'm in your care"
Her eyes dazzled slightly with the newfound sense of responsibility. Almost instantly, her cheeks flushed and she squealed into her sister's dress before shyly looking back at you.
"I-I'll do my b-best" She sputtered.
"I'm counting on it" you giggled as you straightened up. "By the way, you didn't happen to see another lady come in here with-"
"Your friend Alivia has already found the most expensive materials in the store and gone to make the outfit herself with another one of my sisters" Chiffon interrupted "She left me with the message for you 'I can't let fame wait for me, so we'll meet up after your business is finished'"
'Should've seen that one coming' you sighed. 'Forgive me for not getting to her in time Charlotte family'
You looked down at the girl tugging gently on your clothes trying to steal your attention.
"What is it sweetheart?" you automatically replied.
"S-S-Sweetheart!" She flushed but then shook her head rapidly in an attempt to shake away the redness in her cheeks "Can I pick the materials for your dress?"
You blinked twice as the question slowly registered in your mind.
'That's right, this isn't a clothing stall, this is a high-quality material shop with specific handcrafted clothes' you glanced around the store again 'It's like this whole place is a living reminder that I'm poor' you sulked
"(Y/n)?" Chiffon gave you a concerned look "you don't have to worry, pudding has a very good fashion sense" she tried to reassure you
"Don't worry Chiffon, I'm not upset about that!" You smiled and quickly dismissed the thought "Please go ahead and do what you like Pudding?"
Once again Puddings eyes sparkled with determination as she nodded eagerly only causing you to grin more at her sweetness.
------------------------------------------------------------------
You'd spent the first few minutes trying to make small talk with Chiffon and it was lovely. However, as soon as baking came into the mix, you both raved on and exchanged different baking methods whilst Pudding ran frantically around the store. Occasionally she'd hold up multi-colored ribbons and fabrics to your (s/c) skin and then run off again back into the store.
'For a fourteen-year-old, she sure seems to know what she was doing' you smiled thoughtfully.
"You're going to see Mama, aren't you (Y/n)?" Chiffon sighed.
"I am" you nodded
Chiffons' sudden change in behavior didn't go unnoticed to you. It was already confirmed to you that not all the siblings knew what had happened to Katakuri or why you were here. With that in mind, there was no reason for Chiffon to be concerned for you, but here she was, worry written all over her face.
"... You seem like a very nice person (Y/n), you must be if our brothers like you" She smiled sadly "Just please be careful, Mama is not always... reasonable"
"Reasonable?" you repeated
"I've got everything now!" Pudding announced, "It's going to look wonderful!"
"Good job Pudding, now let's get this made" she grinned effectively shifting the topic.
"I imagine it's going to take a while before it's ready for me to wear" you stood up and followed Chiffon to another part of the store.
"Yes, probably 15 minutes at most" she nodded
"15 MINUTES!" you squeaked. "That's way too quick!"
"You have to remember that we regularly rely on this tailoring shop. Our tailor is used to making whole outfits for the size of Oven and Katakuri within a day or two" Chiffon explained. "Your outfit will be child's play"
'That doesn't make it normal' you sighed
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Are you guys sure this is appropriate for a meeting with Big mom?" you asked from behind the curtain.
"Oh, it'll be perfect" Chiffon chuckled.
"I don't make mistakes darling!" Fort proclaimed.
"Come on, let us see you (Y/n)" Pudding encouraged.
Sliding back the curtains you took a few cautious steps forward in your new custom designer outfit. It was beautiful. Pudding had picked the colors so that they would match the blue flowers in your hair. Fort, the seam master, was also very talented. With just one look at you, he was able to guess your measurements and use the materials to make you a local outfit from the top of his head within 15 minutes.
'I still don't know how he managed that but I'm not gonna ask'
It was a breathable white top with a strapped skirt. The design kind of reminding you of an apron. (For those who can envision it, you can have a dungaree). You had a similar outfit at home in red, but the difference in quality and comfort was ineffeble. But most importantly, it had pockets. Your life was complete. Your hair was all down with white and blue flowers intertwined into the occasional braids.
"You look lovely (Y/n)" Chiffon gasped
"Of course she does" fort huffed in satisfaction before wandering back into the store.
"Pretty" Pudding breathed.
"Not as pretty as you" you chuckled.
"M-Me!? P-Pretty!?" she flushed and tried to hide her face behind her hands. "Thank you (Y/n)"
"Chiffon, I'm here to take the baker" A carefree voice called out.
"Oh! Big sister Smoothie!" Chiffon shot up and made way for the tall tan-skinned woman who had just entered the room.
She had blue piercing eyes and wore lavender like lipstick. The color of her lips only outmatched by her long wavy white hair that fell down her back. Around her neck was a large yellow scarf that dangled behind her back near one of her legs which had a rose tattoo on it.
"Is that her?" She asked in a monotonous voice
"Yes," Chiffon answered quickly.
"Follow me, I'll take you to Mama" She stated before sauntering out of the store.
You looked to Chiffon for some sort of explanation but she just gave you an encouraging nod and shooed you out of the store.
'Is this going to be alright?'
