Song has nothing to do with the story but it's just perfect for Thousand sunny 😎 Also thank you all for your patience and support, I can finally hear the voices in my head again. 🤧🤧🤧 You're all so awesome
Remember I own nothing but the plot.
———————————————————————————————
Waking up to Luffy snoring in your ear while his arms are tightly wrapped around your body, multiple times is starting to get old. Today is the day of the rainbow shooting stars, and as promised, you were going to spend the whole day on Sunny. Though you weren't entirely prepared for it. Only a few hours ago you were talking with Sanji and dragging Zoro out of a well. Now you had to deal with sleeping Luffy and his habit of suffocating you. Getting out of Ace's grasp while he slept was was the beginner setting compared to Luffy's death grip.
'I need to add part-time ninja to my list of awesome traits' you thought to yourself as you untangled yourself from Luffy.
Once you snatched your freedom you headed straight for the shower. The smell of booze, soot, and blood were still present from earlier so a nice morning shower was well deserved. It was refreshing to feel the hot water run across your skin, washing all your cares away with it,
'Now that's what you call fresh' you smirked.
Tiptoeing down the stairs, you poked your head around the wall to see if Sanji was still sleeping. Instead, you discovered that your side table and chairs had been shoved to the edge of the room. In its place, Zoro and Sanji were both sound asleep both fighting for covers.
'So I'm guessing Zoro gave up on finding his room and decided to just sleep here, while Sanji just fell off the sofa?' You fought the urge to burst out laughing. 'I guess I'm doing breakfast this morning' You let a small smile tug at your lips as you headed towards the kitchen.
After making yourself a nice wake up drink, so you'd feel more human, you got started on some tangible food. Of course, the smell of cooked food, the meat, in particular, wafted around the house waking up Luffy before anyone else.
"FOOD!" He hollered.
The sound of him thundering down the stairs was immediately followed by the strangled cries of his friends. Luffy had managed to step on both Sanji and Zoro in his eagerness to find breakfast.
"LUFFY!" They both yelled in unison.
"Luffy you should be more careful, you could've hurt them badly" you scolded as you set the table.
"Shishishi! My bad you guys!" Chuckled before eagerly turning his attention to you "Hey (Y/n)! Where's the food?"
'There wasn't even a drop of remorse in that apology' you sighed as you retreated into the kitchen.
Needless to say, Sanji and Zoro did not appreciate seeing each other so close first thing in the morning. They were both growling at each other like wild animals. However, the animalistic noises were soon silenced after the sound of a *thwack*. Nami, who'd let herself in, took it upon herself to take over your babysitting position.
"Would you two stop giving (Y/n) problems first thing in the morning!" She barked as the rest of the crew followed her inside.
'She has no idea... Wait, did she pick the lock on my house? I know that I locked the door this morning' you puzzled.
While the thought was of some importance you decided it could wait for after breakfast. With Robin's help, you set the food on the table. Luffy and Brook already sat down, clanging cutlery, and impatiently chanting for food. Which ultimately earned them a punch from Nami. By this point you stopped trying to prevent Nami from fighting, it was a lost cause.

"Come sit down everyone" you beamed. "Breakfast is ready"
------------------------------------------------
"You know Luffy, you didn't have to stay behind with me" You breathed hugging his neck tighter.
"I know" he stated plainly "but I wanted to stay with you! Even if you didn't want me to!"
"Stubborn as always" you smiled as you playfully poked his cheek.
Luffy was currently giving you a piggyback ride towards Sunny where everyone was patiently waiting. All the details for today's events were laid out very clearly after breakfast. Franky had made it abundantly clear that you needed to tour Sunny, Robin wanted you to help out with her flower garden and of course, Luffy wanted to play. Nami tried her best to use the opportunity to rent you some clothes but you just about managed to dodge that bullet. However, you would be needing clothes for each activity, so whilst everyone went back to Sunny you packed everything you'd need for the day. Well everyone except Luffy, who was adamant that he needed to stay with you.
"This might be the last time I get to keep you for myself " Luffy interrupted the silence.
"You think so?" You asked.
Luffy was still walking but he didn't look up at you. His hat was securely placed on his head so you couldn't exactly read his expression, but your motherly instincts were already at work.
"Well, I don't" you smiled. "I think there'll be plenty of times when you'll get me to yourself, to the point where you'll just get sick of me"
"I could never get sick of you (Y/n)!" Luffy protested.
You let out a small giggle from his outburst. He was pouting now, deeply offended by the thought that you'd think he'd get bored of you.
'Just like his brother, how cute' you thought
"Of course Lu, All I'm saying is that this is the first of many meetings we'll have together. Who knows we may even get a family reunion if we're lucky? But even with all of that, I'd still make time for you" you gave his shoulders a reassuring rub. "But if you run into grandpa here I won't be able to protect you from his fists of love"
He was probably gonna complain about that until something caught his eyes. He stopped in his tracks as his signature smile started to grow.
"There it is!" Luffy cheered as he made his way onto the beach. "Oi! You guys! We're here!"
Luffy waved one of his hands frantically at the ship while he used the other to support you. It was your first time seeing Sunny, but it was exactly how you anticipated it to be. It was the personification of freedom if you'd ever seen it.
'The entire ship looks as cheerful as Luffy, but why does the sun figurehead have eyes?' you wondered.
"Luffy! (Y/n)!" You could just about make out Chopper and Usopp dancing on the deck waving back to you with just as much enthusiasm.
"Thanks for that (Y/n), That's just what I needed to hear" Luffy turned to you.
"You don't have to thank me Lu, this is what I am here for" You squeezed him, careful not to let the seastone on your wrist make contact.
It had happened before and it wasn't pleasant. Luffy gladly accepted the affection before hoisting you up a little higher and letting his body relax.
"Shishishi! Alright! ready to go (Y/n)" Luffy chuckled as he started to roll his shoulder.
"L-Luffy? Can't we just walk?!" You suggested.
"Nope!" He smiled

He reeled his hand back and that's when you felt your stomach drop. He then threw it forward to latch on to the ship. Even from where you were you could see Chopper and Usopp jumped from the sudden contact.
"Let's go!!!" Luffy cried.
'Why me?' you wept.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Poor Usopp didn't stand a chance. He had unknowingly volunteered himself as a crash mat for you and Luffy. You apologized profusely to him while Chopper fussed around him. Luffy, however, was completely ignorant of the fact that he'd just crashed into his friend.
"Man! That was fun!" He stretched.
Unfortunately, Luffy was also ignorant of the large group of people waiting to give him a week's worth of pummelling. With him no longer in your house, he was no longer protected by your rules, which he'd been using to his advantage against everyone. So when he was jumped by all his friends who took turns in giving him a week's worth of beatings all you could do was assist Chopper in medical aid until they were all done.
"I'm vewy Sowwey, it won't happwen agwain" Luffy mumbled through lumps and bruises.
"(Y/n)-san you've finally arrived. May I be the first to say how delighted we are to have you aboard our humble vessel" Brook greeted, only now taking in your presence.
"Thank you, Brook, though humble is not exactly the word I'd use. More along the lines of super" you smiled earning a hearty SUPER from Franky.
"Yohohohohoho I guess you're right! Would you be so kind as to show me your-"
"No way in hell!" Nami screeched, now adding Brook to the pile of beaten bodies. "Ignore those idiots (Y/n), if you give them too much attention you may lose brain cells" She huffed as she dusted herself off.
"AH! NAMI-SWAN EVEN WHEN YOU'RE MAD YOU'RE SO CUTE!" Sanji danced with hearts in his eyes.
"Would you shut up ero-cook?" Zoro remarked.
"What was that you cocky-" Sanji growled.
'Good to see these two are doing just fine'
"Is there somewhere I can put my bag?" you inquired.
"Right this way Miss. Baker" Robin smiled. "Nami and I will be giving you the tour of Sunny while we talk"
"Right! Sounds like a plan!" you chimed.
Everyone gave a quick nod before going off to do their own respective thing. You trailed after Nami and Robin who led you to the female cabin so that you could put your bag down. After that, you were given a full tour of the ship, and it was honestly breath-taking. It was easy to guess who liked what room from the items laying around, but for you, it was easy to say your favorite room was the aquarium. It was the closest to the outside world that you were able to get and you tried your best to soak in every detail. So it was no surprise that it ended up being the throughout the whole tour Nami had made it her mission to get as much information on the pirates you'd been in contact with as to prepare for future encounters. Robin, on the other hand, was more interested in your interactions with Luffy and Ace as a child, you know, typical small talk.
"It still amazes me how you've managed to befriend such powerful people to the point they offer you their protection" Nami sighed.
"That makes two of us then" you giggled.
"But you should still be careful (Y/n) by taking their protection, you may also take on their enemies" Robin reminded you.
"I understand, I've already had that experience once so I won't let it happen again" you nodded. "Oh yeah how was your research on our history Robin?" You asked.
"It was definitely interesting, you've got a lot of different people here who have a lot of different cultures. Somehow you've all found a way to co-exist and create a whole new culture" She spoke with a little sparkle in her eyes, clearly passionate about the topic. "So when I read into how you ended up here and how it brought you altogether it was quite enjoyable, not all history books have that happy ending"
"Sounds like we've done a good job then" you smiled.
"You have!" Nami chipped in. "It's not easy to live in a place where weather is unpredictable, unlike most places in the grand line, your weather changes very frequently and quite drastically, without clouds to help you predict. It truly is amazing how you've managed to survive here"
"I guess I never thought of it like that" you beamed with pride, a bit of color rising to your cheeks.
"Aw (Y/n)! You're so cute! I can't bring myself to charge you for the tour" Nami gushed as she hugged you.
'She was going to make me pay?' you sweatdropped 'I should've seen that one coming'
"There was one thing though," Robin thought out loud.
Both you and Nami turned to her, giving her a puzzled look.
"Even after all the books I've read and people I've talked to, I feel like your history is missing something," Robin thought aloud.
"Missing?" you repeated.
"Like treasure?" Nami's eyes sparkled.
"No... It's hard to explain" Robin placed a thoughtful hand on her chin. "Every time I read about the mutiny on your ship, something doesn't make sense. According to the books, you were losing the battle and were about to be crushed and then suddenly, the playing field changes and you completely overwhelm your enemy, but there is no detail in how it happened"
"Really? I just assumed it was the strength of the revolutionaries that pulled us through" you suggested.
"I considered that too but they were already fighting the battle, so they would've been in the same boat. It's almost as if something happened that helped to shift the course of the battle, but it's been erased" She insisted.
"That is strange" Nami tapped her finger against her chin before clapping her hands together. "Oh well! either way, it all worked out for the best we should go and treat ourselves"
You and Robin erupted into a fit of giggles, Luffy's carefree attitude was clearly rubbing off on her.
"Yes let's" Robin agreed.
"Now that I think about it, those guys have been awfully quiet" you nodded.
.
.
.
'Luffy's been quiet?
Nami must've had the same idea as you did because she instantly tensed before making her way towards the deck. You and Robin were hot on her heels when she burst out on the deck.
*Splash*
The whole world seemed to hold their breath as Nami stood silently drenched in cold water. Water droplets fell from her short orange hair and lovely designer clothes. Your hand shot to your mouth as you inhaled sharply. Usopp and Chopper paled in horror as they watched from the other side of the deck. Robin was the only person struggling to hold back her giggles.
"Shishishi! Usopp! I got Nami!" Luffy's voice called from above.
"Shhhhh! Don't drag me into this!" Usopp hissed in a hushed tone.
"N-Nami" you uttered. "Are you ok?"
You stretched your arm out in hopes of comforting her but flinched when she let out a low growl. She was radiating very strong and intense waves of bloodlust.
"I'm going to drown them all" she seethed, venom lacing every syllable. "FRANKY I NEED A GUN!"
'This isn't gonna end well...'

Fragments from the Wildlands
“Your first death is always the hardest.” Miguela was the third-born child of a well-off merchant family and knew from around the time she could speak that her life’s path was already decided. She was to become an Orator, as was Xandran tradition. However, Miguela had an affinity with the magikal arts and somehow found herself studying at the Academy. She did just enough to keep up with her studies but never found the motivation to apply herself and “reach her potential,” as her instructors often said. It was not that Miguela was uninterested in the arts. Rather, she knew her time at the Academy ultimately did not matter. Whenever Miguela returned home, she would become an Orator, and that would be that. Or so she believed until, one day, an opportunity appeared that would change her life. Miguela was offered the chance to join a research team tasked with a mission of the utmost importance to the future of the Five Kingdoms. She could not turn down the prospect of regaining control of her life and finally finding a purpose for herself. Of course, Miguela might soon discover that offers that appear too good to be true are usually fraught with lies. Welcome to Five Kingdoms of Cordizal! Question: What is the Five Kingdoms of Cordizal? I often get asked this type of question about my stories by friends, bloggers, and potential readers. The Five Kingdoms of Cordizal is a high-fantasy epic universe that is the setting for most of my stories. The foundation of the universe is its multicultural, multiracial setting with several sentient races attempting to carve their legacy and survive. The world is fully fleshed out and vibrant with a rich and mysterious history not based on Tolkien mythology. This brings me to magic. To me, magic is an essential part of the fantasy genre, so, of course, there is magic in the Five Kingdoms universe. However, one critical part of the Five Kingdoms universe is that magic is an abundant commodity that is a part of everyday life and not some plot device used to drive the story. In short, the Five Kingdoms universe is the setting of epic fantasy stories with deep characters and world-building. I try to tell as many different types of stories as possible in the universe, and hopefully, you can find something for you in it.

Is It Too Late To Move My Lair?
A legendary dragon... It has been told in the stories for hundreds of years. Some say it keeps a mountain of treasure in its cave, some say it is a vicious beast, some say it protects the village nearby, some claim it can grant their wishes, and some just think it's nothing more than a fairytale. He is not. The dragon is very real, although he isn't bothered by what people think of him in the slightest. He also doesn't have a grand treasure, nor does he grant wishes, like a magical genie. He is not interested in eating humans either. And as for protecting them… well. This is the story of the time before the legends, how they came to life and a dragon in the quest of his snooze. In a nutshell, this is a simple, light-hearted story with a dragon in it. What I have in mind is a relatively short one compared to most of the works on this site, but we'll see where it goes. This is my first attempt at writing something like this, so please be patient and kind in pointing out mistakes. As for the posting schedule... let's say it will be sporadic. Hope you enjoy reading, as much as I do while writing it… THE STORY IS NOT DROPPED, JUST SLOW ON THE UPDATES. Cover art by Nane, aka me. (Cross-posted on Scribble Hub.)
