《Living With Them || StrayKids ff》{Chapter 37}

"Goodmorning guys..."
I sleepily greeted the boys once I stepped into the kitchen.
My voice came out so raspy and groggy, it was like I had been smoking for ten years and made me grimaced at the sound that I produced.
How feminine...
"Didn't sleep well?", Chan laughed at my current state, where I was basically walking like a zombie.
I seriously don't want to look at myself in the mirror right now.
It might break at the sight of my face...
"Mhmm..", I murmured, not being able to talk much.
And also because I was afraid of making incoherent and weird sounds like before and scare the boys out.
With a bit of groans and stumbes, I successfully managed to sit down at the kitchen table and let myself sink in the chair.
I tiredly raised my head and looked at the clock.
It was 8:30 a.m. and that meant that I had to go to work in about one and half hour.
And I seriously don't want to go.
I groaned at the thought of this and slammed my head on the wooden table, not caring if I would get a bruise after that.
"Wow, Rosa...you look terrible.", Hyunjin slightly snorted when he saw me constantly bumping my head to the table.
Do I look this awaful?
'Yes you do honey.'
Shut up, consciousness.
"Thanks for the information Jinnie. Like I didn't know that already.", I rolled my eyes, well aware that he was right but still continued to bump my head, hoping I would knock some sense inside my brain and wake up at last.
But I believe it's abandoned inside there since I was born.
Just then, as I was bopping my head up and down on the hard table, I felt a hand on my forehead, preventing me from hitting my head further.
"Wow, easy there.", a voice spoke.
I stopped what I was doing and raised my head to look at the person, who had prevented me from bleeding my head out.
A part of me was thankfull for what he did, but the other part of me just wanted to continue with the torturing.
My eyes landed on Felix, who seemed rather amused by my actions as he chuckled at my reaction.
"Your forehead is red.", he chuckled again once he removed his hand of my temple and saw how red it had turned.
"Lovely.", I said sarcastically and run a hand through my hair.
Memories of the last night's encounter with Felix and I, came rushing in my head and my eyes widened, as a familiar hot feeling crept in my cheeks.
I had totally forgotten about that.
And now is not the right time to remember such things...
It's still morning, for God's sake, why am I thinking of such thing?
Felix must have noticed what I was thinking because I identified a pink tint of blush in his freckled cheeks and he gave me a sheepish smile. But that smile turned into a smirk real quick and it caught me off guard.
Excuse you sir.
You can't be smirking at me like that after what you did-
aYe- OKAY maybe it wasn't all hIs doing but sTiLl.
"What's for breakfast?", I cleared my throat and addressed Minho, who was cooking something, because the stares that Felix was giving me, didn't do any good to my stomach.

Those darn butterflies.
The brown-haired boy turned his head from what he was doing, looking over his shoulder and faced me with a smile.
"Ever heard of korean egg drop sandwich?", he questioned while turning back to the fry pan that he was using.
I then look over to the fry pan to see what he was doing before replying.
He was toasting bread...in the frying pan..?
Umm okay?
After he took the toasted slices of bread out of the pan, he added, from what it looked like, an omelette and let it cook.
"Is it the same thing with the egg toast?"
I have heard of an egg toast before, because truth is, I have made it before and it was delicious. Although, the only difference is that, the egg toast I normally make, seems to have a different way of cooking than the 'korean egg drop sandwich' Minho said earlier.
"Well, you could say it has similar taste, but the korean one is better, of course.", he proudly said, raising his nose higher, like he had proved a mathematical theory.
"Mhm sure, whatever floats your boat, darling.", I teased him and his smile faded at my words.
"We'll see whose boat will float after you have eaten it, 'darling'.", he defended, pointing the spatula, that he was holding, at me.
I was gonna come back with a nice reply, but someone interrupted our little bickering.
"Ladies, ladies, let's not ruin our beautiful morning with the bickering, okay?", Seungmin suggested, stopping both of us from our little debate.
I instantly snorted at the word 'ladies' as he addressed Minho as well and Minho, is definitely not a lady. But nor a gentleman either.
He's everything but a gentleman I might say. This boy could airfry you with no second thoughts and have no regrets after that.
It's amusing, really.
"Call me a lady one more time and I'll put you in the fry pan to sizzle with this omelette."
What did I tell you? And the funny thing is that he is not joking when he says such things.
Yup, he is everything but a gentleman.
He could be a drug dealer, a murderer, a fierce boxer, even a cat, but most definitely not a gentleman.
"But why, my lady? It suits you, don't you think? You would make a nice wife, making egg sandwiches for your future husband.", Seungmin held back his laugh, but I wouldn't say the same thing for the rest of us.
Changbin and Jisung were wheezing as the rest of us were snorting like pigs, well, apart from Minho of course.
Minho was one step before murdering Seungmin. I bet he had already planned how he would kill him, with what way and where to hide the body after the crime.
He tried so hard not to curse at Seungmin and even harder not to start chasing him around the kitchen, "And you would make a terrible husband.", was all he said.
"Aw but why? How can you ever going to find someone nice like Seungmin to marry?", Jeongin joined with loud giggles.
But Minho started laughing like a psycho, "Which one is it? Marry someone nice or someone like Seungmin?", he said after he calmed down.
"If you were my wife, I would put poison in you coffee.", Seungmin commented.

"If you were my husband,
I'd drink it.", Minho backfired.
At this point, I can say positively, that having both of them fighting over stupid things it's more entertaining than any comedy series I've ever watched.
"Forget about the egg toast. I think we'll need popcorn instead.", Felix whispered to the rest of us and we all agreed.
"Man, I never get tired of them fighting like that.", Jisung added with a whisper.
"Are they always like this?", I questioned, amused of the entertaining view infront of me.
"Well, most of the times, yeah. It's a never-ending saga with them.", Chan sighed, probably tired of his members' constant fights.
The bickering continued for about five more minutes, untill Hyunjin sighed frustratedly and made a move to stop them.
"Guys, cut it out. I'm hungry, let's have breakfast already."
The two boys turned to look at him in disbelief, probably thinking how he dared to interrupt them. But eventually, they gave up and the piece was restored once again in the house.
Which is very rare, considering that there are 8 chaotic crackheads in the same room.
Once Minho was done making the, he said and I quote, 'better in taste than the egg toast' korean egg drop sandwiches and after setting the table with the boys, we were all seated around the dining table, which was, thankfully, big enough for all of us.
We soon started random conversations about irrelevant things, while I was eating my food.
Okay... Maybe Minho was right about the korean toast being better. Either because of the recipe or because he's a better cook than me.
Just a tiny bit better though.
The bread was so nicely toasted with the butter and the omelette with the ham and the melted cheese, along with the freshly cut tomato was heavenly.
But I'm not going to tell him that and satisfy him with my defeat.
I just silently enjoyed my meal, closing my eyes to intensify the wonderful taste and enjoy it even more.
"Mmm.", I breathed out of happiness.
Its. So. Forking. Yummy. What. The. Fork.
"Did just someone moan?"
And that was the time, I knew, I forked up.
I barely even whispered, how on earth was Jisung able to hear me from across the table?
But turns out, he wasn't the only one to notice. Because apparently, my instant coughing, more like choking, gave it out that it was me who made this incoherent noice.
"I see you are enjoying your food 'darling', huh?", Minho had a rather mischievous smirk plastered on his face when he addressed me.
Great, now I'll have to admit that he was right and that his sandwich is better than a normal egg toast.
I silently groaned to my defeat and exhaled deeply.
"Yes... It's very nice."
"Hah, Told you so!"
"Yeah, yeah. Eat your food now before it gets cold."
"Don't tell me what to do."
I physically rolled my eyes on him, "Yeah, whatever.", I said and chose to focus on my food again, brushing my hair behind my back to give me more access to the plate.
Just then, as I was peacefully having my breakfast, I felt someone's foot nudging me from below the table.
At first, I didn't pay much attention to it as I thought the person didn't do it on purpose, with an attempt to annoy me.
But the nudging continued and this time, it was stronger.
I frowned my eyebrows annyoed and looked up to see who was disturbing me from my meal.
Raising my head to look up at the person sitting across from me, I was met with a rather panicked Felix.
I mouthed a 'what' to him and he cleared his throat nervously, looking around the busy table to make sure that the boys didn't pay him attention. After he ensured that, he turned his gaze on me with flashed cheeks and a panicked expression.
What the heck is wrong? He looks terrified, to say the least.
With his right hand he slightly pulled down the collar of his shirt, exposing his collarbone and discreetedly tapped on the crook of his neck. And then, he pointed at me.
Actually no.
Specifically, he pointed at my neck, indicating that I had something there.
I sure took my sweet time before I realised what he was, so desperately, trying to tell me and my eyes almost popped out.
The hickey.
From last night.
And a very vivid one.
nOice
Why hadn't I noticed it earlier? How blind am I?
I mean, I know I'm short-sighted at some point, but the hickey that Felix gave me...last night, is definitely eye-catching.
Maybe having long hair helps with situations like these sometimes, as it had covered the dark mark on my neck completely.
But when I'm eating, I don't like having my hair all over my face, so I had moved them behind my back.
And that was a terrible move to do...
I quickly brush my hair forward and cover as much as possible my exposed neck.
I should have worn a turtle neck.
'But it's almost summer honey.'
For God's sake, consciousness. Will you shut your mouth please.
'As you said, I'm your consciousness. Which means I have no mouth, so I cannot shut up, stupid. Suck it.'
From where did you learn to talk like that?
'You of course, where else?'
I don't say 'suck it', though.
'Oh well, who cares either way?'
True. Wait- what?
Why the heck am I talking to my own self again?
'Because you are a weirdo.'
Oh shush.
After I had hid all the evidence of the crime, I eyed Felix and he gave me an apologetic smile, feeling bad for what he had done.
He, for sure, wasn't feeling bad when he did this to me though.
Now look at him, scared like a little puppy.
I just gave him a deathly glare before smiling at him in return, only to be interrupted by someone clearing his throat rather loudly. As if he had done it on purpose.
We both turned our heads to the sorce of noice and was met with the piercing stare of Chan's.
He eyed us both slowly, before lowering his gaze on my now covered neck and analysing it carefully.
Gulp.
Uh oh. That's not good.
