I quickly changed into something comfy.

Either way, I don't have much variety in my closet, so what I chose to wear was just plain jeans with an oversized hoodie.

Not that it's cold outside but anyway.

I lightly did my make-up and quickly tied my hair up in a bun and that's it. I'm ready to go.

I stepped out of my room, grabbed my bag and keys and headed to the front door to leave for work.

"Ready to go already?", Felix came from behind me along with the boys.

"Yeah. I'll be back before noon so I won't be able to cook for you.", I told them concerned.

Concerned for two things.

Firtsly, because I feel like a very bad landlady.

And secondly, I don't really feel at peace at the thought of them cooking while im not around.

"Nah it's okay we can manage. Either we'll order something or cook ourselves if you don't mind.", he replied.

I do, but it's okay. It's StrayKids.

"Oh no I don't mind at all. But just a warning. Try not to burn the whole house down please.", I chuckled, but for real though I'm concerned.

Hopefully I will find my house as it is...

They laughed as a respond.

"Yeah that...we'll probably order then.", Chan said while rubbing the back of his neck and smiling nervously.

"Anyways I'm off now. See you later guys!"

I waved at them with a big smile and made my way to the door.

"Bye bye darling, take care!", Minho sounded more motherly-like than my grandma. I gave him a last smile and left.

Once I was out of my house, I picked up my speed and started walking. I seriously don't want to leave them alone. I love their company but I have responsibilities as well. I just hope that they will be okay. I can't even check up on them. I don't have their phone number or something, but either way, I couldn't ask for such thing. They're idols after all.

About 10 minutes later I arrived at my workplace and entered in. Instantly, the sweet smell of sugar cookies and warm fresh coffee hit my nostrils.

I don't like coffee but that specific smell is heaven to my nose. It's just such a nostalgic and familiar scent.

"Goodmorning miss Emily!", I greeted my boss. A sweet middle aged woman that I've known her since I was a baby and she thinks of me as her her daughter.

"Goodmorning sweetie, how was your weekend?", she happily responded with a sweet smile. Her and my granny are a mother figure to me and I love them with my whole heart.

"Ah you know, the usual. Nothing worth mentioning." I awkwardly laughed while thinking of what is currently going on in my house.

Ahha...ahha...ah.

She just looked at me and smiled as a response.

"Now now go wear you apron and start working! Chop chop young lady.", yeah she's a bit bossy but I love that thing about her. She's a very strong and independent woman.

So without further ado, I started doing my job.

____

Surprisingly, the day went by quickly and soon enough I would be heading home. It's currently 4:30 p.m. and my shift will be over in 30 minutes.

Gosh I'm exhausted.

It's not a hard job to do, but running around to take and give orders is definitely energy-draining and my feet are killing me right now. I should be used to that by now but my lazy self is not an athlete.

As I saw that more and more customers were leaving, I started cleaning the tables and prepared to close the coffee shop.

"It's fine I already cleaned the tables. You can go home now sweetie, thanks for today.", miss Emily spoke as she picked up her bag.

"Oh okay. I'm off then."

"Oh Rosie wait. Don't forget to take some of the pastries. They're plenty left and I don't want then to expire so you can have them."

Oh great!

I totally forgot about bringing home some pastries for the boys.

Thank God she offered that herself.

"Oh sure thing!"

"Great. Can you close the coffee shop for me then?", she asked politely before stepping outside.

"Of course miss Emily.", I assured her and made my to the stall. I then took a box to put the pastries in, turned off the lights and locked the shop.

I started walking home. The roads were peacufull and the sun was going to set soon. The clouds had a peachy colour with a hint of purple and orange. It's so beautiful this time of the day.

But after about 10 minutes into walking, I arrived home. Taking out my keys, I unlocked the door and entered in.

"Guys I'm home!", I exclaimed as I went in. I dropped down my bag and put the keys on the coffee table.

"You are back!", voices echoed from the corridor and right after 8 figures run towards me like a pack of hunrgy wolves and hugged me.

Um okay?

"Guys- I can't...breathe. You're squeezing me too- hard...", I barely manage to say while they were hugging me like crazy.

What's with them all of a sudden?

As they heard me, they released me from the group hug.

"We missed you.", they said afterwards.

Aww.

I'm dead.

"I missed you too. Even though I was gone for like 7 hours." I laughed and smiled at them.

"How was work?", Seungmin asked.

"You know the usual. But my legs are killing me.", I frowned a bit while pinching the bridge of my nose.

"You should sit down and rest then.", Felix suggested.

"Yeah I should probably do that. But before that...", I smirked and looked at them, "look what I brought you guys.",

I showed them the plastic bag where I had the box with the pastries.

"Omg YES!", Jeongin exclaimed and Jisung grabbed the plastic bag of my hand.

Aggressive much?

"What did you bring usss.", Chan spoke like a kid who got his Christmas present.

So cute.

"See for yourself.", I smiled to him and made my way to the living room and plopped myself on the couch.

Ah that feels so good. Every fiber of my non existent muscles hurt.

I'm not doing anything for the rest of the day.

Just then my stomach growled.

Uh oh.

The monster inside me is hungry.

The boys heard it as they all turned their heads to look at me. I just shyly smiled at them.

"Rosie are you hungry?", Jeongin asked concerned as he munched on his croissant.

You bet I'm.

"Obviously. She must have not eaten lunch. Am I right?", Minho spoke like a mother again.

Oh well he's right though.

So I nodded to him.

"How you still alive bro. If I were you, I would have been dead by now.", a squirrel spoke with crumbs in each corner of his mouth.

"Well, I nibbled here and there some cookies from the coffee shop to fill me up so I'm okay.", I sighed and closed my eyes from my exhaustion.

"Guys let's go make dinner. Rosa is hungry. Come on get up. And Jisung, stop eating the cookies.", Chan ordered them and went to the kitchen.

"No no guys sit down. I'll find something to eat afterwards, don't worry.", I panicked a bit.

"Shush. You just sit there and rest. Let us cook for you. We won't burn the house, promise.", Seungmin smiled to me and went to the kitchen as well.

I smiled back but then I groaned from the pain.

Damn those legs are for nothing.

I rubbed my ankle as I sighed.

"Yah Felix, go massage her. You are the only one who knows how to anyway.", Changbin said and my eyes widened.

"Yeah I was going to.", he said as he sat beside me on the couch.

He gestured me to put my legs on his lap.

Gosh that's awkward.

"Han, Jeongin. Come sit with us.", Felix raised his voice loud enough to be heard as he pressed his fingers on my calf.

Not a second passed and two figures came out of the kitchen running towards us and sat beside me.

"Yayy, Rosa time", both of them exclaimed happily and started playing with my hair again.

"So Rosa, do you have anyone you like?", Jisung asked and I choke on my own saliva.
