honestly, this movie broke my heart and i actually haven't recovered from it just yet...
❝𝙰𝚂𝙷𝚃𝚁𝙰𝚈❞
———————————————————————
i sat on Ash's couch, a blanket covering me and tissues surrounding me. Marley and me played on the screen and Marley had just died. I was absolutely bawling. Thankfully, Fez wasn't home to see me such a wreck but Ash was home, in his room. I didn't really care if he saw me cry though, he's seen me crying before. But never at a movie.
"A dog has no use for fancy cars or big homes or designer clothes. A water log stick will do just fine. A dog didn't care if you were rich or poor, clever or dull, smart or dumb. Give him your heart, he'll give him yours" The words on the tv made my heart ache and cry even more, this is the only movie that i have ever cried like this too (this is so true btw)
Ash must've heard my cries because he came rushing in. "Are you okay?!" He asked and sat down beside me, my eyes were locked on the screen as memories of Marley came up. "H-he died" i cried and Ash furrowed his brows. "Who?" He questioned and I pointed at the dog. "M-marley!" I exclaimed and wiped the tears on my face, but it didn't stop more from running down. "You're crying over a movie?" He asked with a blank face, i turned to him.
"I'm sorry i have a heart!" I snapped and he flinched. "Fuck, i'm sorry...this film just makes me incredibly emotional" I spoke and leaned into Ash's chest, clutching onto his shirt. "Its okay, ma. But...was the movie seriously that sad?" He asked with genuine curiosity. I sat up and sniffed. "Wanna watch it with me?" I asked with a forced smile. He smiled softly "Maybe once you've recovered from watching it now" he spoke, wiping my tears in a gentle matter.

"No, i can watch it again! I'll just leave the room when Marley's about to die" I suggested with a weak grin, Ashtray rolled his eyes playfully. "Sure...but actually leave the room because i hate seeing you cry. Come here" he opened his arms and i laid in them, we restarted the film and Ash seemed to enjoy it.
But we soon got to THAT part again, Ash had tears in his eyes and i rushed to run out but my boyfriend grabbed my waist and pulled me back. "Nah uh, you're staying with me!" He insisted, his eyes stayed on the film. And that was the moment I realised i had finally found a movie which Ashtray actually sheds a tear too. Marley and me, the most emotional film i have ever watched in my entire life.

The American Dream: An Alternate, Time-Travel Timeline
Due to a mysterious transcendent being, United States Marine Corps First Lieutenant Samuel Kim from the year 2016 is thrown back in time to the year 1775. To make matters worse, he wakes up near Bunker Hill, mere hours before the famed Battle of Bunker Hill is set to begin. Realizing the unique situation he finds himself in, the lieutenant takes the opportunity to change the fate of the battle and ensure an overwhelming American victory. Guided by his "patronizing" "God" and the American revolutionaries, Lieutenant Kim embarks on a journey to help America gain its independence and to ensure the nation uphold its "most promising" ideals from the very beginning. Author's Warning: The story is very rough in the first few chapters (and as some readers pointed out, some parts are laughable, such as "American idealism"). However, the pace and quality of the story improves from chapter four and onwards. You will enjoy the story if you have some interest in history, worldbuilding, and the butterfly effect (along with a few badass characters). So even if you are a bit turned off in the beginning, I promise that the story improves quickly.
