The monsters left the earth 2 years ago, yet Y/n couldnt stop seeing them...she was the only one who could and it made her go insane. She moved in with the Abbot's since her parents passed away, Marcus Abbott was her boyfriend and he always made sure Y/n was okay but he had no idea about her situation.

Y/n was currently in Marcus's room..which was technically her's too as they shared a room together. She was rocking in the corner, her hands shaking and sweat running down her forehead as small sobs left her mouth. All she could hear was the growls of the faceless monsters and they would appear in the room, she was going mad.

she heard the door open and her head snapped up, seeing her boyfriend, it wasn't clear as tears took over her vision. "M-marcus" she cried and held her arms up. The curly haired boy ran over and gently lifted her up, holding her close to him. He sat on their bed with Y/n on his lap and rocked her back and forth. Her head was buried in his shoulder but she looked over at the door and saw the beast which immediately made her pull away from his chest and focus her eyes on the door.

Marcus followed her gaze but saw absolutely nothing, he gently took her chin and made her look at him. "What's wrong?" He murmured and all the girl could do is point to the door with her shaking hand. Her boyfriend looked back and once again, he saw nothing. "Baby, nothing's there" he whispered, moving some hair from her face.

"i ca-cant sto-stop seeing them Marcus!" She sobbed and started breathing heavily, looking around the room to check if anything was there to hurt them. "Baby, baby, look at me please" he murmured softly and it made Y/n look into his eyes. "They're gone..your safe now, we all are" he whispered gently, pulling her head to rest on his chest.

He rocked her back and forth as Y/n closed her eyes, being in Marcus's arms just relaxed her and made her feel very safe. After Marcus calmed her down and reassured her that the creatures were gone for good, she never saw them again. Yeah- she had nightmares about them but so did Evelyn, Regan and Marcus. Y/n was just so happy because if it wasn't for Marcus, she'd still be seeing them...
