"Simon, baby, you alright?"
TW: Mentions of Self harm, if this triggers you, please skip this chapter
Simon and i have been best friends since Kate introduced me to him back in 7th grade. Him and i have been inseparable and soon started dating, Kate just third wheels- thats a joke, we love her! And in that time of knowing Simon, he always had a bracelet on his arm which covered the whole of his wrist...
I also noticed that he NEVER took it off. Even during the fight with the killers (yes, i made them live cuz they deserved it) when we got dressed in the bathroom -maybe sharing a kiss or two- he didn't take it off! When i asked him "hey Simon, why do you never take that bracelet off?"
He just looked at me, then back down at the thing on his wrist "oh um...I don't feel like it" he replied, with a nervous laugh then immediately changed the conversation.
This was weird to me, Simon always answered me positively and he never lied, if he did lie, Kate would tell me...she knows when he lies and when he doesn't. So I decided to ask her. "Hey Kate?" She hummed in response with a smile, turning to face me. "I have a question...about Simon" i said. She looked concerned and sat us both on her couch. "Do you know anything about that bracelet on his wrist? Like- why doesn't he take it off..."
"Why don't you ask him yourself?" She suggested, I sighed. "I did but- he laughed in a nervous way- it made me suspicious" I answered and she furrowed her brows. "That's not like him..ask him again tonight, after you go to pound town" i gasped. "KATE!" She laughed loudly and ran off. I chuckled while shaking my head, but my smile immediately faded as Simon came into my mind again.

Later that night, Simon and i were cuddling on my bed. He was focusing on the movie we were watching while my eyes stayed on his bracelet. I soon, unknowingly, started to fiddle with it, this caused him to flinch and wince. "Simon, baby, you alright?" I asked in concern, sitting up to look into his eyes. He nodded, but a hint of pain was still in his beautiful eyes.
"Simon..." he looked at me with an uneasy smile. "Why do you wear this and never take it off?" I asked in a serious tone. All Simon could do was gulp. "No reason..." i raised a brow and placed a hand on his cheek. "Simon." I said in a warning tone. This made him sigh, tears filling his eyes. He began undoing the buttons of the bracelet and it slowly fell off, revealing scars. Old and New. I gasped at the sight...while Simon sat there with a blank expression on his face.
Though tears rolled down his pale cheeks, no cries or whimpers escaped his mouth. He look down, almost as if he was ashamed with himself. I gently and carefully took his wrist and pressed small kisses to the scars. He visibly flinched but i rubbed his palm, a sign telling him i was going to be careful.
"Why are you doing this love?" I asked softly. "Stress..." he whispered. And even though he had just shown me this, he still had a smile on his face.
Simon hated showing emotions, I always told him it's okay but he says "men cant cry, it shows they're weak" to which i always denied, men can cry too, it's part of being human.
"Baby, if you're stressed, don't harm yourself...talk to me or someone you really trust" I murmured, kissing his wrist and moving up to his jawline. "Or- if you don't feel like talking, i have something for you to do" he looked at me in curiosity as i got up and walked over to my desk, picking up a pen and walking back over, sitting opposite my boyfriend.

"Here. You can draw on your arm instead of cutting it, its much better and stops the pain" i smiled which made his smile widen. "Thank you Y/n, i really do love you..." he whispered and i kissed his lips. "I love you more baby, now lets get some sleep okay? You dont have to do anything tomorrow, i can book a day off for you at work" I explained and Simon smiled gratefully at me before snuggling his head into the crook of my neck.
A/n: ok so this is actually a theory that Simon self harms, because he wore the exact same bracelet as Alice and she covered her scars with it. Obviously- its just a theory, not true. But i wanted to do a cute lil imagine about Y/n helping Simon with it

Pangea: A New World
What is the system? What is its purpose? Who made it? All three are questions that have been debated throughout the ages, and yet to date the answers remain unfound. However, some irrefutable fact exists. The system expands, grows and enables. The system seeks to expand its reach, grow its influence and enable those under it to flourish. A Beginners Guide to the System, Germain Fitzgerald This is a story not of the system but of an individual who suffers, flourishes and ultimately evolves under its influence. Follow the growth of Jacob Lockerby from a normal teenager granted access to a world of his dreams and watch as this previously ordinary individual becomes extraordinary. Herein lies the tale of he who would become a legend. Update Scehdule: Every Sunday 10pm GMT. I appreciate this is a rather slow schedule but this is my first attempt writing and I am doing this for fun while trying to juggle my final university year workload with writing this. I hope you stick with the story and feel the chapters are worth the wait. Lastly just a shameless beg but please do rate and comment, feedback is always welcome and will help me improve my writing.

Flesh Forger
Born a bit too late to explore the world, yet far too early to explore space, Graham Lattem is your average 61 year old man - if a little wanderlust filled. That being said, he has a happy home, loving wife, children who check up on him, and a decent retirement fund to live out his golden years modestly. Then it happens. [System Initialization Commencing…] A trick of the light, surely. [Planetary Merger Protocol 331 Enabled] Rumbling can be heard in the distance. Shouts. Cries of anguish. A horrible, ear numbing crashing sound. An earthquake. A hole opens in the middle of his home, and our protagonist falls in as a swirling vortex consumes him. Mountains as far as the eye can see greet Graham as he opens his eyes. Well, and more glowing words: [Welcome To The Macrocosm] [Good Luck] Far away from his family in a world hell-bent on his demise, how will this old, arthritis ridden man survive? Did I mention he has cancer? ===================================================================== Aiming for at least 1 chapter every other day, though there is a very big chance it will more oftentimes than not be more than that! This is my first ever story. One that I’ve been wanting to write for awhile. The system is most definitely inspired by Randidly Ghosthound and The New World, but I promise the story is different! Please point out any mistakes, as I’d love to improve! Also the warnings are just to let me experiment.
