It has been at least 2 months since my best friend and crush, Deena Johnson, broke up with her most recent girlfriend, Sam Fraser. Let me tell you, this girl is still obsessed. It hurt because i liked her very much, even before she got with Sam.

We were currently at a memorial for Heather, the cheerleading and football team for both, SunnyVale and ShadySide were there. I was in my cheer outfit, incredibly bored. Well- the only thing that was boring me was Sheriff Goode's speech, so I decided to walk off.

A hand grabbed my wrist and i turned to see Kate "where are you going?" She asked. "I just need to uhh...be alone" she nodded and squeezed my hand gently before letting go, giving me a smile which I gladly returned before walking off.

I sat down by a wall and put my head in my hands. The real reason i walked away is because i saw Deena, staring at Sam and her new boyfriend. I wiped my tears and suddenly i heard footsteps. "Deena?" I asked and she soon took notice of me. "Oh hey..." she whispered and sat by me, a box was in her hands. "Is that Sam's stuff?" I asked gaining a small nod from the curly haired girl.

"Why are you over here?" She questioned and i bit my lip. "No reason" I replied, avoiding eye contact. Before she could say anything else, we heard a familiar voice "Deena" it was Sam. I got up to leave but Deena grabbed my wrist and pulled me back down. "" she demanded. I couldn't even agree, she grabbed my face and smashed her lips onto mine, I couldn't help but melt into it.

We heard a gasp from Sam, then that was it. Deena turned her head slightly to see that her ex was no longer stood there, meaning she had walked away. She took her hands off my face and stared into my eyes. "Thanks for that Y/n, now Sam thinks we're together" she smiled and i just snapped.

"What the fuck" i exclaimed and she looked at me in confusion. "You can't just play with my feelings like that okay?! You can go back up to your little ex girlfriend of yours and tell her that we're not together, understand me?!" I yelled and a flash of hurt crossed her eyes, my face immediately softened. "I'm sorry it's just..i've liked you for so long. Even before Sam, and you kissing me just to get Sam to leave, just hurts me okay?" I explained.

Her face was now filled with guilt, i started walking away but hearing a box drop caused me to turn back around. "Fuck it" Deena said before rushing over to me and kissing me. Hard. It was passionate, and felt real unlike the first one. Her hands made their way to my waist, squeezing my sides and thats when i pulled away. "What about Sam?" I asked, gaining my breath again.

She looked around then smirked before looking back at me again. "Fuck Sam" was all she said before we started making out again. For the first time since Deena started dating Sam...i felt happy. Sam couldn't have Deena anymore, but i could...
