Camilo was gonna be so mad. Not at me though, the girls who beat me up. Why did they beat me up? Oh- BECAUSE IM DATING CAMILO MADRIGAL. They should take their jealous asses and shove them somewhere else. Now i have a bruised eye, bloody lip and scratches on my arm from where they had pulled me down and pinned me.
I'm sure i have bruises in other places too...
I stumbled into the Casa Madrigal and the first person to see me in my state was Dolores. "Y/N OH MY GOSH!" She squeaked and rushed over, holding my face in her hands. "Shoot- CAMILO! JULIETA!" She called and both of them came rushing down. "What do you want?" "Whats wrong!" Camilo and Julieta asked at the same time before they saw me.
"Y/N, AMOR, WHO DID THIS!" Camilo yelled, shoving Dolores out the way to take a look at my injuries. I winced when he touched my bruise and he apologised immediately and moved his hand. I pulled it back to my face though. "No it's okay, these girls decided to beat me..." I mumbled and Camilo rubbed his thumb on my bottom lip.
Tears sprang to my eyes when his thumb brushed against the cut and i let out a small whimper. "What girls, baby, and why did they do it?" He asked gently. I looked at him then at Julieta and Dolores and he immediately got the idea. "Hey, can you guys please give us some privacy?" He asked politely. The two women nodded before leaving us alone.
My boyfriend turned back to me and sat down on a chair, bringing me to sit on his lap. I wrapped my arms around his neck and his held my waist. "So..who did it and why?" He asked softly, i sighed and bought him closer to me.

"It was Beth, Sofia, Lucia and Valentina. Valentina started on me saying that she should be with you and the other girls backed her up saying that she had dibs you first. I simply told them that you aren't a prize to be won nor are you an object and after that they just...beat me up" I explained sadly.
Camilo looked up at me with anger in his eyes yet also some sadness. "I can't believe they would beat you out of jealousy" he muttered angrily before picking me up and placing me on the counter. "You stay right here, Julieta and Dolores will take care of you while i'll take care of those nasty girls. Got it?" I nodded and he kissed me before storming off.
Dolores and Julieta rushed in, Julieta started cooking arepas while Dolores gently held my hand and told me about funny things she had heard today, keeping my mind off of what happened today..
-
A week later, Julieta healed my injuries the day i got them and Camilo hadn't told me what he did with those girls and I haven't seen them around town either. I decided to finally ask him. "So, Cami..what actually happened with those girls?" I asked and he smirked. "Well, lets just say they're not welcome in encanto anymore" he replied.
I gasped. "Really?!" He nodded. "Abuela found out what had happened somehow and while i was yelling at the 4 mean girls, she butt in and banned them and their families from encanto because of what they did to you" he explained. My eyes widened. Abuela helped me...so sweet!
But i also wondered what Camilo said to them. "What did you tell them?" I questioned curiously and he smiled. "I told them to leave you alone or i'll get Luisa to kick them out of encanto..literally" I laughed and shook my head. "I do love you, Camilo Madrigal" i chuckled and he smiled. "I love you way more Y/n L/n" he replied, pulling me close.

Camilo lied to Y/n, he said something way more aggressive and showed his protective side. He stormed up to the girls, occasionally shifting into Y/n as he thought of him/her/them on the way then eventually stuck to himself as he stood in front of the girls who drooled over him.
"Hey Cami~" Valentina flirted, hearts were basically in her blue eyes. "1. Don't call me Cami and 2. Don't you EVER beat up my boyfriend/girlfriend/partner ever again. If you do, i swear to God, i will get my whole family on you and kick you out of encanto and with Luisa's help, that'll be very easy" he explained, his face was practically red from anger.
Sofia soon cut him off. "You can't kick us out of encanto, you should kick Y/n out of encanto!" Camilo rolled his eyes and crossed his arms. "Oh yeah? Why?" He asked and it was soon Beth's turn to talk. "Because, Valentina had dibs on you and Y/n still stole you away from her!" She yelled and- if looks could kill, all four of them would be so dead right now- the glare on Camilo's face was big enough to kill the whole town if it could.
"I'm not some prize okay? And i will not kick the love of my life out of encanto just because some pathetic girls are obsessed with me and decided to take it out on him/her/them. Now i suggest you leave my Y/n alone or you're gonna have problems" he snapped before someone new made an appearance.
"Oh don't worry Camilo, they already have a problem. They have nowhere to live" Abuela said, in an overly calm tone. Beth, Lucia, Sofia and Valentina had looks of confusion but then worry as their families soon made their way over with luggages. "YOU'RE KICKING US OUT?!" Valentine yelled with sadness. Abuela simply nodded.
"I cannot allow you to hurt my Camilo's boyfriend/girlfriend/partner and get away with it. You may have only done it once but from what i've heard from young Y/n, you also bully him/her/them daily. I will not tolerate it anymore and i deeply apologise to your families who have done nothing wrong..except giving birth to you girls..now get out of my town!" Alma scolded and the four families were gone in an instant, terrified of Alma herself.
Camilo hugged his Abuela and thanked her over and over for basically saving his boyfriend/girlfriend/partner from being hurt physically and emotionally anymore. Abuela smiled down at him before they both walked back to Casita to check on Y/n.

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)

Changement : Version Face [French]
Notice: This story is in French, not in english, mainly because of my poor english. I may translate it later if I get better, and hopefully I will. - Author's note: this story is a concept. During the first chapter, the main character is faced with a major decision, which will change his life forever, and, not knowing what to do, he decide to play heads or tails, and let fate choose for him. And so there will be two versions of this story, one for each of the result, and their consequences for the main character, as well as all those around him. Here, he got heads.
