I rushed over to Dolores as she piled her plate with sweet snacks. I smiled and leaned on the table. "Hey Dolores you know yesterday when you told me i should confess too.." i looked around to see Mirabel nearby so i got closer to her and whispered "that cute boy"
Dolores stood there with a blank look before placing a slice of cake on her plate. She raised her brow in thought before looking at me again. "Who?" I rolled my eyes at her forgetfulness. "How could you forget? I talk to you about him like- everyday!" I replied and she sighed.
"Sorry, i'm having a uhh- rough morning. You know- listening to everyone around me..I can't focus! Can you remind me?" As she spoke more, i noticed she sounded a bit different, but maybe that's just me. I rolled my eyes and slapped my forehead and groaned at her.
"Camilo!" I blurted out and i noticed a small blush on her cheeks. Was it out of embarrassment? "Camilo, stop pretending to be me so you can get seconds! Oh, hey Y/n!" I spun around and saw Dolores. "Hey Dolores- WAIT DOLORES!" I panicked. I turned back to the other side to see Camilo with a smug grin and i mentally screamed.
"You like me huh?" He smirked, Dolores hummed curiously from beside me before understanding what had happened. "Oh god- you told him you liked him without actually telling HIM you liked him.." she said with a laugh.
I wanted to bury myself in a ditch.

I covered my face in embarrassment and walked away, not wanting to face Camilo right now. "This is so embarrassing-" i said before i felt someone hug me from behind. I turned to see Camilo, he rested his head on my shoulder. "It's not embarrassing if i like you back, mi querido" he mumbled, his hot breath fanning my neck.
"I guess no- WAIT WHAT?!" I yelled, turning to face him. "You actually like me.." I questioned and he leaned forward and placed a light kiss onto my cheek, butterflies rose in my stomach and i smiled widely. "Who wouldn't, now Y/n, would you like to be my girlfriend" he asked, his hands now holding mine.
I squeezed them and bought them up to my lips before kissing them. "Of course, Mi Amor!"

Novel Summary The Depths of Magic is a LitRPG novel focused on a Fantasy VRMMO setting. This is not a harem novel. In-Game systems The Depths of Magic features state-of-the-art technology never before seen in Hector's world. The key system the novel will bring up often is the Second Brain. The Second Brain system is more like a guidance AI for the players in the game that acts as if you had a second brain assisting your every action. How much guidance this AI will give is based on its experience or mastery skills a player will receive in the game. The guidance is seamless to a point where a player won't even realize they are being assisted, it's will feel like what they are doing is something they could always do. However, once they leave the game it will become quite apparent that they were receiving heavy guidance. The purpose of this system in a writing sense is to explain why a player can realistically become more powerful, more agile, or more skilled than they would otherwise be able to as a human. To give an example if someone could move faster than a bullet, how would a normal human brain be able to perceive and control this movement properly. Or how could a player who has never held a sword before become as experienced as someone who has trained with the sword all their lives? The magic system will be another focus of this novel. I don't want to spoil anything here but it should be an interesting one. The hope is that the system I have made will spark discussion between the readers on what combinations will do what. I already have most of it, but it will be fun to read as the author. Side notes My general focus for this novel is to attempt to make the in-game systems make sense. To give a vague example I have read a lot of novels of this genre and some have the habit of just creating such powerful items that it just breaks the system, and somehow the MC keeps finding challenging situations even with those items. What tends to happen when I read a novel like this I just ignore the stats of the items he is getting because the numbers don't even matter anymore.
