Camilo was currently dating Y/n L/n. He cared for them deeply and he knew his family did too. They invited Y/n to Antonios gift ceremony and they hesitantly agreed too it. Its not that they didn't want to go. Y/n couldn't wait for little Antonio to get his gift

Its just that they hated big crowds...

And everyone in town would be there!!

They put on their best clothes and tried to stay calm. 'Do it for Antonio' they thought, not wanting to ruin his big night. Later that evening, Y/n arrived at casita, where Camilo greeted them lovingly at the door. "Y/n, glad you could make it! My family will be so happy to see you" he whispered in their ear when he hugged them. Y/n squeezed back, still nervous.

Camilo seemed to have picked this up.

"You okay, cariño?" He mumbled softly, using the nickname he gave them, he pulled away to look into their eyes. He sensed panic and nervousness. "Yeah..c-can you just do me a favour?" Y/n asked with an uneasy tone. Camilo nodded immediately.

"Can you stay by me tonight i just...i dont really do well with big crowds and i really needed to tell someone about it and i trust you the most and i-" Camilo cut them off by softly hushing them before they got into a state. "Y/n, i will not leave your side tonight, okay? I'm here for you, cariño" he whispered kindly and Y/n smiled, taking his hand in their shaking one.

Thankfully, Camilo didn't have to greet anymore guests, so he lead Y/n inside to greet everyone. Luisa smiled at Y/n. She took a strong liking towards them, Y/n was like a younger sibling to her. "Y/n, its so good to see you!" She greeted, giving them a light hug. "Nice to see you too Luisa!" Y/n said.

Y/n greeted everyone in the family...but Mirabel and Antonio. Soon, it was time for Antonio to get his gift. It was crowded at the bottom of the stairs, thankfully, Y/n stood by Camilo who was waiting for his brother to walk down, so they gently slipped their hand into his. Camilo turned his attention to his nervous partner.

He pulled them closer by their waist. He leaned down to their ear and whispered; "it's okay, cariño, i'm right here. Just take deep breaths okay?" His voice was calming and relaxed them. Y/n leaned their head on his shoulder making Camilo blush and lean his head on theirs before turning his attention back to Antonio, who was now walking down with Mirabel, he was very nervous.

He smiled softly at his cousin and younger brother before looking back down at Y/n who was no longer shaking or scared. He was happy that he managed to calm them down so easily.
