I often went down to the river to calm down, normally nobody is there, it's quiet...today was different. Today i saw a boy, my age, very handsome too. He seemed to be making a flower crown, i smiled at the sight. 'maybe he wanted to get away too?' I thought.

I walked over and he seemed to have been startled by my appearance. "Oh- i'm sorry! I didn't mean to scare you..." I apologised awkwardly and the boy chuckled. "Its fine, sit down!" He replied politely. I sat down next to him and smiled. "I'm Camilo Madrigal" i introduced and he looked at me and shook my hand.

"Y/n L/n, it's nice to meet you Camilo! I've heard a lot about your family, you all seem amazing, especially you!" he complimented and i blushed and looked down. "Thank you, you seem nice.." i had a weird feeling in my stomach, something about this boy made me feel...nice?

"Nice flower crown, my cousin Isabella would love that!" I said causing Y/n to look down at it. "I come here sometimes, mostly to make these to calm me down..what about you?" I shrugged. "To get away from things..to stay calm mostly otherwise i'd be every person in encanto by now" i joked. Y/n laughed at my joke which made me blush even more

Y/n and i made small talk for the rest of the time, occasionally telling each other jokes, until Y/n had to leave. He got up and waved goodbye, before starting to walk off. I sighed sadly and looked at the river until i heard footsteps. I turned to see Y/n, he stopped in front of me and placed the flower crown on my head with a flustered smile.

"I hope to see you again soon, little shapeshifter"

"me too, my flower boy" i winked, and Y/n's eyes widened before he smiled and pecked my cheek. And then he walked off, not stopping this time.

Will i ever see my flower boy again?
