As Yura opened her eyes slowly, the first thing she saw was the beautiful painting above her

‘Uhh, isn't that me?’ she thought

The painting was when she was in the tree and a boar was beneath her, it was when she first met Kaname

‘I haven't seen that painting in here before, was it just done a while ago?’ Yura thought to herself

As she tilted her head to the side, a captivating look of the man in dark clothes sitting in a chair while reading a scroll came into sight

After reading seriously, his gaze suddenly landed at her, with a surprised look on his face he rushed towards her and showed her a gentle smile

"Does your body still hurts?, is there anything you want?" Kaname asked

"You must be hungry I'll go prepare something you like" he stated

Yura held the hem of his clothes to keep him from leaving then he held her hand gently and covered it with his own

"What is it?" Kaname asked

His pale face, the dark circles under his eyes, his tired figure, every part of his body shows that he did not have enough sleep

"Will you sleep beside me?" Yura uttered with a smiled

"Do you still want to sleep?, don't worry I'll be here to watch you fall asleep" Kaname stated

"All I want is for you to sleep beside me, please" Yura uttered

The look on his eyes soften as he laid beside her with her head on his arm and his other hand on her waist

"Sleep without thinking anything okay" Yura stated as she kissed his lips then he slowly closed his eyes

After making sure that Kaname is already in a deep sleep, Yura slowly and carefully got up and walked out

The moment she got out of the room, she was immediately greeted with a worried look of Shin and a tearful face of Mizuha

"Lady Yura" Shin uttered

"Shhh be quiet, Kaname is still sleeping" Yura stated

In the next second, Mizuha suddenly burst into tears as she said "I'm sorry for being such a useless friend"

Yura embraced her and patted her back and Mizuha immediately clung unto her tightly

"I'm sure you had also been worried and have look for me everywhere, you're a great friend there's no doubt about that" Yura stated

After calming Mizuha down, she immediately returned back to her usual cheerful self as she said "I'll be sure to watch you closely from now on

"Instead of that, why don't you help me cook something for Kaname?" Yura stated

Mizuha nodded her head as she said "Sure"

While walking towards the kitchen, Yura was bothered by a certain someone following them

"Aren't you supposed to guard Kaname instead of following us?, what if something happens?" Yura states

"Don't worry Lady Yura, Master Kaname is stronger than I am" Shin stated

"Yeah but every person has its weakness so go stay with him" Yura stated

"And his weakness is you therefore your safety is very important" Shin replied

"You should have seen him gone mad when you were gone, I was so scared that I thought death was coming" Mizuha stated

Yura sighed as she said "So this is what it is like after I'm gone"

After a while, Yura was almost done cooking

"The food is almost ready, I hope Kaname will love it" Yura uttered with a smile

"I'll prepare the plates" Mizuha states

Just then, a loud voice suddenly rang in the kitchen

"Yura!" Kaname shouted

Yura looked ahead and found Kaname covered with beads of sweat

"Oh, you're awake?" Yura uttered

In the next second, she was suddenly pulled in his arms into a tight embrace

"What is it?, why are your hands trembling?" Yura worriedly asked

"I was so scared when I opened my eyes and you were no longer by my side, I called out your name many times but I didn't get to hear your voice, I panicked when I think about not being able to see you again, don't leave my side" Kaname stated without stopping

A gentle smile crept up on her face upon knowing how he cared for her, Yura embraced him tightly in return as she gave him a pat on the back

"Sorry for making you worry" Yura stated

Then, she got out from his embrace and faced him with a cheerful smile as she said "That is why, for making my pampered crown prince worried, I made you some foods you like to eat"

"Lady Yura, the food is ready" Mizuha stated

"Sit there, I'll go prepare it for you" Yura stated

While serving the food, a certain someone kept talking in a low voice beside her

"You really held a great value to the crown prince huh" Mizuha uttered in a low voice that only the two of them can hear

"And what's with you?, suddenly calling me Lady Yura" Yura stated with suspicion

"Well I have to call you that way from now on" Mizuha replied

"And Shin too?, why all of a sudden?" Yura curiously asked

"Being the important person of the crown prince is already enough to pay great respect to you and also it will only be a matter of time when you become the king's wife so you should start getting used to it already" Mizuha stated

"Kaname is taking over the throne already?, what happened to the king?" Yura asked

"I don't know, it was Shin who told me that the crown prince will soon rule over Azania" Mizuha replied

"Is that so?" Yura uttered

"What are you talking in there?" Kaname asked

"Oh sorry, did you wait long?" Yura uttered as she put the food in front of him

"After this, we still have to put some ointment on your marks" Kaname stated

‘I don't want to talk about this’ Yura thought to herself

"How is my cooking?, do you like it?" Yura asked

"I had always loved it" Kaname stated

Yura cheerfully smiled at his response

After Kaname was done eating, he turned to look at Yura as he said "We should return back to the room now, I still have to put some ointment on your back"

"That kind of job is not supposed to be done by the crown prince, how about you let Mizuha do it" Yura replied

"Crown prince or not I have to take good care of you, now let's go" Kaname stated

While walking towards his room, Yura was accompanied with mix feelings

As they got inside his room, Kaname carefully unwrapped the bandages and her upper body was shown

‘Somehow it makes me more nervous of not being able to watch his reaction as he gazed upon the cuts on my back’ Yura thought to herself

"Aren't you disgusted seeing a body like this?" Yura asked

"Aren't you going to blame me for being incapable of protecting you?" Kaname asked

Yura took a deep breath as she said "Thousands of women who are way more better than me, lined up to become your wife yet you're stuck with a weak girl like me that only causes you trouble"

"There are men everywhere who can keep you company at all times and can make you smile at any situation yet you chose to stay by my side, a person who only wants to monopolize everything about you" Kaname stated

Yura looked down as a tear that she tried so hard to suppressed escaped from her eyes

"I'm not good enough for you" Yura stated

"You're the only woman who can make me smile and experience the true meaning of happiness, that alone is already enough for me because no woman in this lifetime can make me happy just as the way you do" Kaname stated

Yura calmed down upon hearing his words of assurance

"I'll start putting it now, tell me if it hurts" Kaname stated

Yura nodded her head in response

‘I can feel his fingertips touching gently and carefully as he applied the ointment on my back, the place he touches is warm’ she thought

‘He touches me as if I'm his fragile treasure, being held by this makes my heart warmer than ever’ Yura thought to herself

"Kaname, is it true that you're taking over the throne soon?" Yura curiously asked

"Probably" he replied

"Why?, the king is still healthy right?" Yura asked

"With the throne in my hands, no one can harm you even the Aikawa clan so I will be able to protect you this time" Kaname stated

"That's your reason?" Yura asked

"What other reason is there?" Kaname asked

"I'm happy that you consider me when you're making desicions but I also want you to consider yourself and the people involved in it" Yura stated

"I'll think about it" he replied

"What happened to Lady Yumiha?" Yura curiously asked

"She returned to Jianghan province, don't worry I won't let her get away with this" Kaname stated

"She only did all of this because of her one-sided love that she kept for many years, she had also suffered so forgive her this time okay" Yura stated

Kaname did not respond and just stayed silent

"I'm going to put the bandage on, tell me if it hurts" Kaname stated

"Don't leave such grudges in your heart because it will only hurt you so even if you're angry, don't make it last too long, more than anything I don't want you to be swallowed by hate" Yura stated

After putting the bandage on, Kaname suddenly hugged her from behind as he said "If that is what you want"

"Really?" Yura inquired

"What else can I do when you ask me that seriously, you rarely ask me for something" Kaname replied

Yura gently smiled as she said "I'm going to drink some water first, I'll be right back"

Yura walked towards the table leaving Kaname behind

"I'm not going to hate them forever but I have my own methods in dealing with those people who did this to you" Kaname mumbled under his breath
