"Your father has to talk with the queen so why don't you stay here and behave" Yumiha's mother stated

The 7 years old Yumiha nodded her head as she said "Can I go wander around here?"

"Alright but don't wander too far" Yumiha's mother replied

The little Yumiha went out at the garden and as she was walking through the queen's garden, a butterfly flew in front of her

"A beautiful butterfly, I want to catch it!" Yumiha uttered to herself

Yumiha ran towards it and tried to catch it whenshe suddenly lost her balance then fell on the ground and grazed her knee, she was about to cry when her head was suddenly patted by someone

"Are you alright?" The young Kaname asked

Yumiha looked up and saw a very good-looking boy, he helped her got up and remove the dirt from her dress

"You should be careful next time and tell your parents to treat your wound so it won't get infected also you can't catch that butterfly because they wanted to be free, if you catch them they will cry just like you" Kaname stated

‘He is so kind, is he an angel?’ Yumiha thought to herself

Yumiha immediately nodded her head as she said "Okay"

Kaname then started walking away from her

"Umm, what is your name?" Yumiha asked

"Treat that wound first and I'll tell you" Kaname replied then walked away and disappeared from her sight

‘He wanted me to take care of myself first, my knight in shining armor has appeared!’ Yumiha thought to herself

"Young Lady! there you are, what happened to your knee?" a servant worriedly asked

"Please treat my wound immediately" Yumiha enthusiastically stated

‘I have to see him again and make sure to know his name!’ she thought

As reminiscing the past, Yumiha gazed at the garden in Queen Yoshino's residence

‘This is where I first met him, I was still 7 years old back then’ Yumiha thought to herself

"The moment I saw him my heart already thumped so hard even at such a young age, after that I always beckon my parents to visit here constantly" she uttered to herself as she gently touched the growing flowers

"Even at the age of 23, he is still the only man in my heart and it has remained this way ever since" Yumiha mumbled under her breath

Kaname likes to travel in different places and sometimes she followed him there pretending that she also had something to do but for the last months Yumiha haven't seen him because of some issues in their clan

Yumiha would follow him secretly wherever he goes and she made sure to hide her feelings for him so that she can always stay by his side

But he only treated her coldly, Yumiha thought she was only dreaming that time he helped her in the garden but the more she followed him the more she fell in love despite his cold rejection

‘Even though I already knew he was just a servant but in my heart he is not a servant, he is the man no one can be compared to and the man I always wanted to have’ she thought to herself

"I was satisfied even if I can only watch him from afar because I was assured that he is cold to everyone" Yumiha uttered

‘He doesn't even look or pay attention to those servants trying to attract him even those beautiful daughters of the officials so I was confident that I am the only girl that had experienced his gentleness and warm touch’ she thought

"However, that doesn't seem to be the case right now" Yumiha uttered as her conversation with the queen flashed back on her mind

"So she only brought that woman to become your servant and she was already given to be a servant of Prince Hikaru?" Yumiha asked

Queen Yoshino gave her a simple nod as she took a sip from the tea

Yumiha sighed in relief as she said "I thought it was something else"

"But considering Kaname, he has never been interested with anyone so it's just normal for him to bring a servant here and nothing else" Yoshino stated

"I agree, it seems like I was worried for nothing" Yumiha replied

"He is in Ding Ling Province today so I don't know when he will be back yet" Yoshino uttered

"I was just here to wander around again, so can I stay here for a moment until I return back Your Highness?" Yumiha politely stated

"Is that so?" Yoshino uttered with a smile

‘I already knew that Queen Yoshino have figured out my feelings towards his servant but she kept quiet about it so I will do the same’ Yumiha thought to herself

"You can stay here as long as you want" Yoshino stated

Yumiha gracefully smiled as she said "Thank you for your kindness Your Highness"

3 days later, Yumiha was walking through the corridor when she spotted Kaname coming out from Queen Yoshino's room

Yumiha immediately ran towards him with a big smile on her face which was immediately hidden as soon as she got close to him

She immediately transformed into a graceful and gentle woman in front of him

"Kaname, you're already back" Yumiha uttered with a gentle smile on her face

Kaname just gave her a nod and started walking away, Yumiha kept up with him and walked beside him

"How was your travel?" she asked

"It was fine" he bluntly replied

‘Even though he acts cold he still talks to me whenever I ask him something, I'm contented with just this already’ Yumiha thought to herself

"Where are you going?" she asked

"To concubine Ayumi's residence" he replied

"Can I come?" Yumiha asked with a smile

"Stay here" he stated

‘I don't want to act stubborn around him, I want to appear as a perfect lady in his eyes’ she thought

Yumiha gently smiled as she said "Alright, then be careful"

Kaname got on in his horse then went away

"I'm fine with just this" Yumiha uttered with a smile
