While traveling with Kaname, Yura have learned few things about him

They are now heading to Ding Ling Province because Kaname has things to settle

"So the Ding Ling province is the only province that you have not been to and that means this is the last right?" Yura curiously asked

Kaname nodded his head in response

"Then after this, we're going to your hometown?" she asked

Kaname nodded his head as he said "I hope you like staying there"

"Of course, if I'm with Kaname then I will always be happy" Yura happily stated

"Then why won't you ride the horse with me if you're happy being at my side?" he asked

"Because that will only slow our journey" she replied

Yura curiously gazed at him as she said "Is Kaname also from the Tokugawa clan?"

"I'm not but the Tokugawa clan has always been our companion" he stated

"To have a powerful clan as a companion means Kaname's clan is also very powerful, to top it off you have servant that came from the Tokugawa clan" Yura uttered in surprise

Just when Kaname was about to speak, Shin suddenly spoke from behind

"Master, we have arrived at the Ding Ling province" Shin stated

"Go find a place to stay and bring Yura with you, I have things to do" Kaname stated

Shin nodded his head as he said "Understood"

"Take good care and come back early okay" Yura cheerfully stated

Kaname nodded his head as he said "I will"

Shin and Yura started to walk around and look for a comfortable place to stay in the meantime

"Umm, Shin" Yura uttered in hesitation

Shin looked at her seriously as he asked "What is it?"

"You know you're quite similar to Kaname sometimes, you turned serious all of a sudden" Yura stated

Shin shook his head as he said "I am not worthy of being compared to Master"

"Aish, you're being too humble" Yura stated

"I am not being humble, it is a fact" Shin stated

"Anyway, isn't this the Tokugawa clan's hometown, why can't we just stay at your place?" Yura curiously asked

"Master does not want to stay there but we will eventually visit there" Shin replied

"Is that so?" she asked

Shin nodded his head in response

Yura smiled as she said "I'm Yura Izumi, I'm sorry I haven't properly introduced myself yet ever since we met"

"It's alright, please don't be so polite towards me" Shin replied

"But I will be seeing you a lot from now on, so why don't we become friends?" Yura stated

‘I have to get along with you or else you'll draw your sword at me again’ Yura thought to herself

"Please don't be my friend, if you ever need something don't hesitate to ask me" Shin firmly stated

‘Both master and servant are very stubborn’ she thought

Yura smiled as she said "I won't force you, I'll just have to work hard for you to be my friend"

As they were walking, they suddenly heard a loud scream that stopped them from their track

Yura turned around and found a familiar girl being held in the hair and forcefully dragged away by a drunken man

"Please stop, help!" the woman uttered while shedding a lot of tears

Yura immediately grabbed a thick piece of wood and sprinted towards the drunken man then she hit him in the head

The drunken man flopped down to the ground with blood flowing out of his head

The drunken man was shocked upon seeing his own blood, he got up and glared at Yura when a sword was suddenly pointed at his neck

"Run" Shin coldly stated

The drunken man gulped and immediately run away

‘That coward, he was so confident on abusing a girl in the street yet he was that weak’ Yura thought

"Are you alright Miss Izumi?" Shin asked as he placed back his sword

Yura nodded her head as she said "I'm fine but please just call me Yura"

Yura turned her attention to the woman that was staring at Shin

"Mizuha?" Yura asked

"Huh?" the woman uttered as she looked at Yura

"It really is you!" Yura uttered in surprise

"Yura!" Mizuha uttered as she got up and hugged Yura with all her might

Yura gave her a pat on the back as she said "It has been a long time since we have last seen each other"

Mizuha was her bestfriend and they have gone to the same school but after finishing their studies, they began to go on their separate ways

"Are you alright?" Yura uttered as she gazed at Mizuha who had a lot of bruises on her arms and face

Mizuha nodded her head as she said "I'm fine"

Yura immediately turned serious as she said "Not fighting back and just letting yourself be drag away like that, what were you thinking?!"

"Well he was one of our customers" Mizuha replied

Yura sighed as she said "That does not justify his actions, you should have fight back!"

"This is why you are being abused because you just silently keep it in" she added

Mizuha lightly laughed as she said "Until now you're still good at lecturing me, so what brings you here?"

Yura helped Mizuha fixed her appearance up as she said "We were looking for a place to stay"

"Then how about in the place I work at, it's cozy in there" Mizuha suggested

Yura nodded her head as she said "Then show us the way, let's go Shin"

Mizuha leaned closer and whispered in her ear "Is he your lover?"

"Of course not, he is the companion of my lover" Yura replied

"Oh, that's great" Mizuha uttered with a sigh

Yura confusingly looked at her as she asked "What's great?"

"I mean that's great that you have already found yours" Mizuha awkwardly uttered with a smile

Yura sighed as she said "Well it takes hard work to find your match right?"

"I guess so" Mizuha replied

After arriving at a guest house, Yura turned to look at Shin as she asked "What do you think Shin?"

"It's alright, we'll have 3 rooms" Shin stated

"Then I wi.ll pre..pa.re it f.or you" Mizuha uttered

"Why are you stuttering?" Yura confusingly asked

Mizuha immediately shook her head as she said "Nothing"

"I'll go get our things" Shin stated

"Do you need my help?" Yura asked

"No need" Shin replied then walked away

When Yura turned to look at Mizuha, she was surprised to find her smiling a lot

"Mizuha, do you like him?" she asked

Mizuha was shocked but then she shyly nodded her head

Yura looked at her in surprise as she said "Really?, then I'll help you get close to him"

"You will?" she asked

Yura nodded her head as she said "Of course since you're my bestfriend, you can count on me"

"Thank you Yura" Mizuha uttered with a smile

‘Look at her, looking so beautifully in love even with a bruised up face’ Yura thought

"But you have to put an effort too or it won't work" Yura stated

Mizuha nodded her head as she happily said "I will"

A while later, Kaname and Shin both arrived together

"I ha..ve al..rea.dy pre..pa..red your ro..oms" Mizuha stuttered

Yura leaned towards Mizuha as she whispered "Loosen yourself up, don't be nervous"

Mizuha tried to straighten up then handed Kaname a paper to sign

"You got 3 rooms?" Kaname asked

Shin nodded his head as he said "Yes Master"

Kaname then looked at Mizuha seriously as he said "I only want 2 rooms prepared"

Mizuha nodded her head as she politely stated "Yes sir"

Kaname then turned to look at Shin as he said "For a smart companion, you sure are don't know how to read between the lines"

Shin bowed his head as he politely said "I am honored to be appreciated by Master"

Yura silently laughed as she thought ‘That was not even a compliment’

Kaname turned her gaze to Yura as he said "That girl just now was a friend of yours?"

Yura nodded her head as she asked "How did you know?"

"Shin told me" he replied

"We were classmates before too" Yura uttered with a smile

"Then why don't you invite her for dinner, I would like to hear about the life of baby Yura" Kaname stated

Yura cheerfully smiled as she said "You could have just ask me you know"

"You might leave some information behind" he replied

"We can go now, where would you like to have your dinner sir?" Mizuha asked

"Somewhere private" Kaname stated

"Understood" Mizuha uttered as she bowed her head

"Oh and Mizuha join us for dinner tonight" Yura stated

Mizuha looked at her in surprise as she said "Huh?, it's alright I can"

Before Mizuha could finish her sentence, Yura cut in and whispered to her "It will be a good chance for you to get close to Shin"

Mizuha got embarrassed but she still nodded her head
