Kaname and Yura have been travelling in the mountain for hours without any rest

‘Kaname doesn't even look a bit tired and here I am, ready to fall down any minute now’ Yura thought to herself

‘Stay strong Yura!, we should not become a burden’ she thought as she tried to encourage herself

"Let's rest here for a bit" Kaname stated

Yura immediately got down from the horse and drank a lot of water

Kaname just sat down and lay his back on a tree

Yura took a step closer to Kaname and sat down while facing him

"Here drink some water, I know that it will be a long journey so I packed a bottle of water and some fruits in case you need some" Yura stated as she handed him the bottle

"Don't you need it more?, I have a very high endurance but you on the other hand look like you'll fall from the horse any second" Kaname stated

Yura looked down as embarrassment flashed on her face

‘I should be helping him instead he is the one looking out for me’ Yura thought

"I'm sorry" Yura uttered

‘Is she going to cry?’ Kaname thought

Kaname cleared his throat as he said "It's alright, why did you decide to come with me anyway when little girls like you can get easily killed here?"

Yura looked up and met the gaze of Kaname

"I wanted to support Kaname but it looks like I have to try my very best if I wanted to be of help to a strong man like you" Yura stated

Yura smiled and handed the bottle of water again as she said "So please have a drink because no matter how strong you are, you are still a human"

Kaname grabbed the bottle of water and took a drink on it

"Do you want to eat some fruits?" Yura asked expectantly

"If I say no, you'll just bother me again" Kaname stated

Yura lightly laughed as she handed him two apples

After a while, Kaname stood up as he said "Let's go"

Yura nodded her head and followed Kaname

Before Yura got on the horse, Kaname suddenly spoke

"Ride here on my horse" he stated

"Huh?" Yura uttered as she turn to look at him

"If you ride on your own, you might fall down" Kaname stated

Yura was nervous when he said that but she immediately calmed herself down fearing that Kaname might learn why she was nervous

They both ride on the same horse while Yura's horse was following behind them

‘I can hear the steady breathing of Kaname in my back, it's a good decision that I came along after all’ Yura cheekily thought to herself

Just then, Kaname's voice woke Yura up from her trance

"Brace yourself, there are wolves eyeing us" he stated

Yura gazed ahead and found two wolves looking at them

Kaname swiftly got down from the horse and draws out his sword

"Stay here" Kaname stated

Kaname walked forward and the wolves immediately run towards him

In that brief moment, Kaname slashed his sword and the first wolf was injured then backed down

Just then, the two wolves suddenly jumped together towards Kaname and the other wolf clawed Kaname's arm

However, Kaname was quick to dodge and hit them both and the wolves backed down for a moment while regaining their energy

As Yura watched the dripping blood from Kaname's arm, she immediately got down from the horse and grabbed the knife she brought

"What are you doing?" Kaname stated

Yura fiercely gazed at the wolves as she said "I won't just prettily sit by the side and watch you suffer"

When the two wolves started to attack Kaname again, Yura immediately run towards the other wolf and stabbed its stomach while Kaname had killed the other one with his sword

After ensuring that both wolves are killed, Yura grabbed a bottle of water and an extra cloth she have brought then she ran towards Kaname

Yura grabbed his arm and gently touch his injury

"Does it hurt?" Yura asked

"It's only a small cut" Kaname calmly replied

"Which part of it is small?, your blood is even gushing out so much" Yura stated

Yura poured water on it and wrapped it with a cloth

Just then, her tears uncontrollably fell out from her eyes

"Although I'm an assassin's daughter, I'm actually never exposed to blood at all" Yura uttered while trying to properly wrapped his injury

"I'm fine, this is just a small cut compared to the injuries I have gotten before" Kaname stated

"My heart aches seeing Kaname injured" Yura uttered as she looked up at Kaname

Kaname gave her a pat on the head as he said "Don't cry"

Yura smiled and wiped her tears away as she said "I'm probably ugly when I'm crying, I'll go back now"

Yura turned around when Kaname suddenly pulled her from behind making her back bumped into his firm chest

"You had a scratch on your hand" Kaname stated as he held her hand

Yura looked at her hand and there was a small scratch with a small blood flowing through it

"I'll go fix this up now" Yura stated

Kaname did not let her go but instead he even held her hand tighter

"Instead of worrying over others, worry about yourself first" Kaname stated

Yura pulled her hand away from Kaname's hold then she turned to face him

"Kaname is not just some others" she stated

Kaname looked at her with confusion

"I love Kaname therefore I don't mind getting hurt if it is for you" Yura stated

Yura turned around trying to hide her embarrassment then she immediately head back to her horse

‘I hope I made his heart flutter just now’ Yura thought to herself

Yura placed a bandage on her small wound and tidy herself up then she got on her horse

‘Of course his heart needs to flutter, I gathered up a lot of courage to say those words casually’ Yura thought to herself

"I'll ride with my horse again after all Kaname might be uncomfortable riding with me" Yura stated with a smile on her face

Yura tried to smile cheerfully so that Kaname will not discover that she was disappointed with not being able to ride the same horse

Kaname just silently gazed at her then got on his own horse

‘Is my confession so boring that he didn't have any reaction to it?’ Yura thought to herself

"The peak of the mountain is already near, we're nearly there" Yura stated

After they arrived at the very peak of the mountain, Kaname picked out the rare hyacinth flower and placed it on his bag

Then they went back down the mountain smoothly this time and they arrived back at Yura's hometown in the middle of the night

Kaname immediately went to the underground base while Yura stayed at the lodge taking a bath

As Yura was preparing herself to sleep, Rikka suddenly showed up and came to her

"It seems like you had fallen in love with a very capable man" Rikka stated

"Of course, I have a good taste in men you know" Yura confidently replied

"His servant managed to obtain the potion easily and he was able to get the hyacinth flower, we are now an ally of his" Rikka stated

"So that's what Kaname wants, to make the hidden troops of assassins in Beixing his ally" Yura uttered under her breath

"Go bring him this tea, it will make him recover fast from tiredness" Rikka stated as she handed Yura the tray

Yura went to the room that Kaname was staying in

She about to knock on the door when she suddenly heard their conversation

"We will be leaving tomorrow, I want to leave here as soon as possible" Kaname stated

"I will prepare everything you need tomorrow morning, is the reason Master is leaving so soon perhaps because of the owner's sister that bothers you everytime?" Shin inquired

Yura immediately ran back to her room and flopped down on her bed

‘I don't want to hear it’ she thought

"That's right, what were you expecting Yura" Yura stated

"He just fulfilled his business here, I had already known that he was going to leave sooner or later" she mumbled under her breath

"It hurts so bad, I might break down if that deep and charming voice I admired say that I'm only a bother" Yura uttered as she covered her eyes with the blanket

That night, Yura was unable to sleep and she just kept on staring at the ceiling
