She is gone.
Gone.
And I didn't do anything but run....and hold her in my arms. I'm such a selfish jerk, I should have sent her back. The hospital lights hurt my eyes as I stumble to sit on the chair. As they cover her body, only one thing runs around my head, "I need to kill that bastard."
I pick the date where the funeral will be set, as I look at the body being carried out. I never got to spend time with her, only for a few weeks. I should have known that before sending her off like that. My heart aches to see her the last time, hearing her voice again, and holding her hand. I don't need anything else anymore...all I need is to get her back.
But nothing in this world will help me get her back...
And it is all my fault.
I fall onto my knees, crying as I call her name softly, with the nurses and doctors running past me. They could save others' life...but not hers. And it was all my fault, knowing that I should have never started this with her in it. The tiles on the floor dizzy my eyes as the remaining tears fall down my face. I stumble out the door, holding the paper of her funeral date in my hands.
The few times I was able to laugh with her feels only like yesterday, and the words, "I love you" wasn't being able to said properly. I walk away from the hospital, making my way towards the park that is located in front of me. Everyone stares at me, gasping as they see the blood stains on my clothes. However, I show no care, knowing that nothing of these will bother me. I clench the paper in my hands, sitting on the bench.

I encounter a young child, who stares at me with his big brown eyes. His short black hair covers his eyebrows as his face is slightly slimmer than most young children. His appearance is quite skinny, and it looks like he needs to gain more weight as his slim, stick-like arms are revealed as he is wearing a short black t-shirt. He is holding an ice cream that is melting slowly onto his hand. The ice cream drips onto the floor, and immediately it reminds me of how her blood was dripping onto my hands, as I ran down the forest to try to get us to safety. I look away from the young boy, biting my lip as the bitter tears fall down my cheeks. His high-pitched voice sparks me, "Why do you have blood Hyung?"
I look at the young boy, as he looks at me with no fear. I reply back bitterly, "I tried to save someone...but it didn't work out."
The boy smiles a small, delicate smile at me and says, "I hope the person is resting peacefully."
His words sting like poison onto my ears as I show a fake smile towards him, making him cock his head towards the left a little. He then adds, "And don't think it is your fault, hyung...when you did your best to save your friend. No one will be able to judge you, even yourself, if you did your best."
The young boy's words sound wise as I let out a small sigh and chuckle, replying, "You seem smart for your age."
"I quite am..."
"How old are you?"
"10!"
Though my hands are covered with dry blood, I ruffle the young boy's hair. He closes his eyes and opens them again, when I pull my hand back. I look around for his guardian, asking, "Where's your mom?"

"She died."
"Oh, how about your dad?"
"He was killed."
I feel bad instantly, asking the young child where his dead parents were. As he senses my sorrow, he adds, "But I do have an older brother."
"Where is he at?"
An unknown, deep voice says, "That's me...and back off of my brother."
The arrogance in his voice somehow arouses anger inside me, as I stand up to face the older brother. He is a bit shorter than me, but seems around the same age as me. His hair is dyed light brown, as his appearance is a bit cold from his frown and his eyebrows raising. As I scan my attention towards him, he already seems to judge me within his head, as he sees the blood on my clothes and the cracked skin of my hands. He looks at me, then at his younger brother, who seems unharmed of the situation as he eats his melted ice cream.
"What's your business with my brother?"
"We were just talking, as I am having a difficult time."
"Well, I believe that's not something that my brother should help you with."
The rude words of the other's brother makes me scoff a bit before I avert my attention off of him. The younger brother of him looks at the crumbled paper inside my clenched fist, and he asks, "What is that?'
I look at the younger boy and reply, "How about not talking to me anymore? Your brother seems intensely bothered by it."
"But I don't mind..." The younger boy squeaks as he stands next to his brother The older brother looks at me as my image is not the cleanest at the moment. For some reason, something clicks between us, as it seems we both are cold in a way. He asks, "You got a place to go? Since you seem a bit..."
"Dirty? No, I don't have a place to stay. Not like you're going to accept me?"
"I will."
"Really? How can I trust you?"
The other boy points to his younger brother, who is innocently eating his ice cream and looking at me with hopeful eyes. "He seems to like you, as he knows the true personality of people, even random strangers."
"You seem nice hyung."
A small smile forms from my thin, dry lips as the younger kid says that to me. I stuff the crumbled paper into my pocket and I reply, "Thanks. Fine, I will take your offer...And I hope it won't be bad if I use your computer from time to time."
A fast response comes back, "No problem. Now I don't have to worry about getting a roommate."
The older brother slings his arm around the younger brother's shoulder, and he asks, "What your name?"
"Jeon Wonwoo. Yours?"
"Lee Taeyong. Hm, Jeon Wonwoo-nim, it feels like we can be close because of our close personalities."
"I believe so, Mr. Lee Taeyong."
"Fabulous."
