"Tell me again why you have to invite her, Sebastian?" Ciel said, totally annoyed as he notices you making a rather huge fuss of inside the living room, attracting all the men to your attention. You weren't really hard to miss since you were wearing an alarming shade of scarlet that either blinded or lured the gazes of people in the room.
"She does seem rather charming, isn't she?" Sebastian said, smiling his way out of his master's glare. "Besides, none of the men would even BE here if it wasn't for her."
"Ugh. I should have no skimpy-dressed woman in the grounds of my mansion. It mocks my reputation." Haughty little Ciel blared back, making sure that you would probably hear it.
Though that would be near impossible since you were too busy with your fanbase of drooling guys admiring your irresistible beauty. Men from all around you tried their best to keep you in perfect condition like an inspector in a museum. It was a matter of keeping you happy and hopefully, one lucky man would get picked and end up with you as the prize.
"_________."
You heard someone say, a bit apathetic and that's the reason why you could distinguish it from the others. You shrugged it off and continue to flatter yourself with the swarm of men ready to lay down their lives to you.
"_________!!"
You heard it much louder now but with still the same tone. Finally, you stood up from your seat, the men stepping back a bit to give you ample space to get up. You looked around to see Ciel and Sebastian standing with a newcomer who had your necklace in his hand.
"Excuse me, gentlemen." You said as you smirked your way through your fans. "Yes, Lord Phantomhive?"
"Urgh... May I suggest you wear a coat this evening?" Ciel muttered, looking away from your chest that was a bit exposed from your red dress.
"Oh, you royals always have the sense of humor.... Isn't that right Sebastian?" You replied, putting your hands on your hips and looking at the evenly-attractive butler.
"Quite so, milady." Sebastian humbly replied.
"What an exquisite woman you are!" You heard someone say beside you. Of course, like any other person, you would turn to them and say words of gratitude.
He had gorgeous, flowing blonde hair with piercing, glossy lavender eyes. He had a face that could melt an iceberg and something about him made your heart sink deep into your body. He was refined which complimented his face very well. He was as clean as he could be, as expected from a royal. And royal, means money. Nothing could ever satisfy your lust other than the feeling of cold, hard, cash.

"Why, thank you, kind sir."
"Like a beautiful red breasted robin perching on a tree underneath the midnight moon!!" he replied, which quite shocked you. No one has ever referred to you as a bird before. Nevertheless, you took this positively.
"Ugh, take it in the closet, you two." Ciel reverted the subject once again, unable to bear the sight of you once more.
"Closet? I don't understand this, Sir Phantomhive..." you said, leaning your palms on your knees, making your eyes level with his, but you were actually letting him get a better glimpse of your chest which you know would annoy him further.
"Oh, you don't know this game, my robin?" the blonde stranger asked.
"I'm afraid I don't."
"Oh, right. Here." He said as he went behind you to place your rose necklace on your neck. The necklace that you put in a bag that Sebastian asked for. "Viscount Aleister Chambers of Druitt, milady... Now come... I'll explain inside."
"Charmed. _______."
You could sense the eagerness in his tone but still contained it in a gentlemanly manner. He asked for your hand which you obviously took, waving your disappointed crowd of fans for a quick absence.
"I see you're quite popular." He started as you stepped inside the somewhat rather large wardrobe of the Phantomhives. "I'm not surprised... With a face and bodice like that... I'm sure you could have any man you wanted."
"Oh, don't even get me started on that. It doesn't even get to the best part when it comes to swindling money from the-Uh.." you almost let it slip. To you, the way you're still breathing and living in a luxurious home and in a beautiful red dress and practically the reason why you're in this party, is because you had to steal your way to get where you are. There was not a man you've ever been close to without robbing a single penny from their pockets. It was almost a necessity to you, actually. "So, uh, what about you? Have some women waiting for you back at home? I'm sure you have with that face of yours..."
"... Well, actually, no. I don't."
"I'm surprised...." To you, it was, really. You can't help but smile in victory that you all have him to yourself and no competition. "I see... Then, I'll be yours instead."

You heard him chuckle in the dark. You bite your lower lip, enjoying this flirting completely. How you wanted him. How you desire to kiss his lips. Forget his money, it's him you really want. Sebastian couldn't have made you feel this way. He's your somewhat, best friend. Someone you can relate to, perhaps. This was a totally different feeling.
"I'm flattered, my beautiful robin... But.."
Uh-oh. A 'but'.
"I'm afraid you'll have to leave the flirting to me instead." He whispers in your ear. You were surprised how close he was.
Immediately, you felt a warm, gloved hand crawling up to your thighs that were-all of a sudden-showing under your long, flowy dress. Surprisingly, your back leaned on the wall as he gently pushed you. Upon instinct, the thigh he was massaging instantly latched itself beside his waist.
You felt him passionately grind himself to you. You can't help but release a noticeable, intense moan as he did so. You heard him chuckle again, but in a more seductive way. A picture of Sebastian flashed in your mind. He was just so, damn skillful.
"Maybe royals can have a bit of a naughty streak..." you groaned, your hands unable to control themselves as they grip his long, silky hair.
"Oh, you'd be surprised if you're one to follow stereotypes, my precious..." he was completely teasing you. All of that, still no lip contact. Man, were you longing for him. "I assume you want me now, is that right?"
"Oh, my God, you.... have NO idea.." you said as you brought his head closer.
"Well, then, I implore you to brace yourself for what's coming next."
His lips crashed unto yours. This was better than you expected and was exceedingly satisfying than every other man you've been with. All of the other dukes and heirs of men that were under your spell seem petty now. The Viscount was the crown jewel you dreamed of.
You were desperate to have him. Normally, it was the guys who were running after you, but I guess this is a completely different story now for you. He could sense that. He was practically smiling throughout the amazing kiss.
"DING DING DING! TIME'S OVER!" Finnian's voice shouted as he came smashing through the door. You two broke away, not paying attention to the person that interrupted the both of you."WHOA! Wha-- Um, I mean-- I'm sorry, Sebastian!" Finnian tried to revert the subject, trying to unsee the scene.
"Ugh... No, no. It's fine, I'll take care of it." Sebastian's voice followed as he tried to calm the apologetic gardener down.
"Well, I guess it ends here." The viscount said, slowly letting go of his grip on you. No, no, no you don't want this to finish. Ever.
"Wait!" you grip his arm before he goes. He stopped and turned around with a smirk on his beautiful face. Um... Oh, no.
"Yes?"
Come on, brain. THINK OF SOMETHING.
"You... You're not a part of my collection..." was the first thing that came to your mind. Improvising is a risky thing.
"Oh?... I understand..." his face saddened a bit.
"WAIT! I-I'm not finish, um..." You cleared your throat. It was unlike you to be so nervous about something. This caught your group of dedicated boys to surround the entrance of the closet door.
"Um.. You... Win."
"Win? Win what?" he asked, smiling. He knew what you were implying, he just wanted to make sure.
You were unable to answer as one of your fanboys decided to take the ballsy answer. "YOU WIN HER, IDIOT!" Clearly, they were utterly disappointed. But all of that didn't come to mind as you were totally contented with your choice.
"Oh, my beautiful robin... I'll be your idiot until forever." He held you close to him, seemingly never wanting to let go. It's as if he didn't care if your whole being was tainted by other men. This was a feeling that calmed your heart. Made you feel pure again.
You can't help but let as unexpected tears fall from your eyes. You weren't sure if you deserve this blessing. To be loved by someone you love as well. You worked your butt off from trying to get in this situation. I guess you earned it. Big time :D

Yin-Yang
Mages in North America seem to have it all – typically from well-off families, and able to manipulate their environment in ways most of the world would never believe. They don’t even have to bother with the mundane details of life like housework, thanks to their sensitives, who also make a useful source for extra magical energy. After all, sensitives have no use for it themselves, and if mages weren’t meant to make use of it, then the sensitives would obviously have some way to prevent that. That a mage can transform a sensitive physically, with no restrictions beyond overall mass and basic biological viability, whereas magic tends not to work directly on any other living thing, is only further proof. And look at the way they live on their own, barely a step above animals. It’s better for them to belong to a mage. Sensitives in North America live on the edge of society and survival – typically so paranoid they avoid hospitals and anything else that could lead to being tracked, many of them with little or no education and no legal identity or existence. Mages exist, and mages want sensitives for some reason, but no one ever comes back to explain what that reason is. Waiting every day for the hunters to notice them doesn’t lead to much motivation or hope for the future. And once they’re captured, they’re the property of someone with a terrifying amount of power over them. Anything is better than capture. Mages are born to be the masters, and sensitives are born victims. Or are they? Jax’s life is turned upside-down when he’s caught by the hunters and sold to a mage. Andreas is still mourning for his previous sensitive, though, unconsciously creating a difficult standard for Jax to live up to, all the more so while still struggling to come to terms with this new reality as Andreas’ sensitive. A runaway sensitive isn’t what Van expects at the mental health centre. Is this a hunter trap, set for him and the rest of the Donovan family by the hunters? The hunters would, after all, love to see them cross the line openly and finally do something they can be charged with. Either way, Miranda’s genuinely in trouble, and he can’t just abandon her to it. Snatching a sensitive out from under the hunters and hiding her is odd behaviour for a mage – but then, Catherine is an odd mage, living in disgrace in the old servants’ quarters of her grandmother’s house, responsible for cooking and housework. Lila owes Catherine her freedom; is there a way to help Catherine achieve her own, and at what price? Tension is building between traditionally-minded mages and those advocating change, and something has to break. *** Yin-Yang includes a small amount of profanity and no graphic sex or on-screen physical violence. However, sex and gender roles and relationships within the mage/sensitive subculture are non-traditional in mainstream North American terms. The key criterion in a primary relationship is not relative sex or gender, but the pairing of mage and sensitive; given the transformation of sensitives by their mages, physical sex is non-absolute for a sensitive, and gender identity can vary as in anyone else. *** *** The way mages treat sensitives is extremely varied and, in some cases is outright abusive. The struggle against that is pretty much the point of the book. It is NOT grimdark or misery-porn! However, if you will be triggered by this, please, don't read Yin-Yang! *** Complete stand-alone novel, 153K words! Also available on Scribble Hub and as a free ebook.
