Here we are, chilling and watching the children play in the lake near Calvin's cabin-house. When I say we I mean Moonlight pack members that came to Redwood pack to train and Tom, Amy, Mia, twins, Calvin and I.

The men, yes I am shocked as you are, decided it is a beautiful sunny day to wasting the day away. So they planned a barbecue at here. Usually it is Mi na and I that plan things like this so it was great that this time we didn't have to do anything but bring ourself.

Dylan farted and both Mi na and I yelled gross.

"What? it's not like you don't ever fart"

"We don't"I reply.

At least not in public.

"Yes you do"Calvin buts in.

What? He has never heard me fart. Right?

"You save it for the middle of the night."

He did not just say that. In front of my brothers and friends. My left eyes twitched and I was sending my mate the glare of the century. The most power glare that should have killed him that second but the jerk just sat their grinning his teeth.

Not only did he confirm what everyone already knew but never mentioned but he ruined any chance of me winning this argument.

"See. Now don't be a hypocrite lovely Charlie" Dylan says.

I throw my spoon at him which he probably saw coming because he dodged it.

"Traitor"I mouthed Calvin.

He just chuckled and pulled me in to sit on his lap. He literally was laughing on my neck. I slap his shoulders weakly trying to keep myself from laughing at his cute snorts.

I ignored Tom intense gaze at us. Things between Calvin and Tom are still not great. It has been months and they haven't really spoken, not in personal way anyways. Any time they interact, it got to do something about the pack. I know they miss each other. Calvin asks me about Tom and Tom asks me about Calvin. It got to the point I stopped responding but that doesn't stop them from asking me still. I know Calvin and Tom love each other like blood. They grew up together and had each other back since then. Yeah they both made mistakes. I hate the fact that they are so prideful.

Men.

They say girls are the one who hold grudges. Who ever said that clearly haven't met my brother or my mate. Both I'm connected to. Aren't I just lucky?

"I'm hungry! I'm gonna start the grill"Dylan says rubbing his tummy after releasing his mate.

"I'm gonna help. The man is like a squirrel and is likely to burn the whole thing"Cole says.

"I will get the beers from the storage at the back"Calvin says.

I get off his lap for him to stand.

"I will help"my brother says.

I send my brother a quick smile to which he just rolls his eyes. I can see a small smile tugging his lips. I watch as my brother and mate walk off. I take Cal's sit and look at my friends.

"You reckon they would kiss and make up?"Amy asked whilst watching them.

"I sure do hope so."I mumbled

Eyes still on my mate's ass. Tight ass. I love his ass.

Mark and Samuel excuse themselves, said something about watching the kids.

I turn my attention to Mia and catch her staring at her mate. From what I have heard, things have been going well. Mia and Dylan are getting comfortable with each other from what I can see. I know she's still try but I caught her giving it back to him when he throws it. The girl got a backbone, especially when she arguing with him. He says something then and she would turn her head blush. And Dylan eats that shit up. The boy is gone. Totally smitten.

"How is it going with you and Dylan"I ask.

"Great! He's truly amazing. We had dinner with my parents late night and they love him"Mia says this with a big smile on her face.

Mi na touches her knees "I'm glad honey. Welcome to the family"

I look at Mia and give her a smile. My way of saying welcome to the family too. I love the fact that my family is growing. I was always fond of Mia and the fact that she is in our circle now is just better.

"What about you and Calvin?"Mi na asks.

Like she doesn't know already. The bitch is my diary. Sure I keep certain things private because it's just between my mate and I but there I thinks I need to share with my best friend.

"Great!"I say simple.

"And...."

"Things are going to well. I'm so happy. I don't think I have been this happy in my life." I say with a shy smile.

"Sure is. I don't think you two can keep your hands to yourselves" Amy teases.

"Like you can talk! I can't stand being in the same room as you and Tom"

"Hey we have a lot to catch up on"Amy says winking.

I gag because I really don't want to know.

We had told the pack members who I am and what I am to Calvin. To say some are shocked is understatement. I think they have accepted me as their Luna, though what happened with the three trolls helped with that. Apparently not a lot of people were fans of them"

"Ohh I saw that you done to them"Amy snorts.

"I did warn them. Like three times"I shrugged.

"I say good riddance"Mia, the quietest in our group says.

We all chuckled, got ourself a glass of wine while we wait for the food.

"So you staying?"Zara, Samuel's mate asked.

I turn to the red head beside me. Zara and I always got along. She was in her mid thirties and probably one of the funniest yet level minded person you would ever meet. She is ruthless fighter and one of my favourite trainers. She came back with Dylan and Cole but is leaving with her daughter in two days as summer is almost over.

"Yeah"

"Well you will be missed"

"I will miss you guys too but I'm coming over often. You guys are two towns over. Three hours minimum if there isn't any road work"I say.

I have to see them often. They are my family too.

"I'm going to miss seeing your ugly face"Mi na says with tears in her eyes.

It's Tuesday today and the moonlight pack are going back home on Sunday.

"Don't you dare start crying Mi na or we will all join you"

"I'm trying so hard damn it" she says wiping the tears the dropped out.

Cole saw his mate crying so he came to check out what happened. When she told him, he let out a breath of relief before kissing her forehead and muttering women then walking back to Dylan.

We couldn't help but laugh at that. While the men served us, us ladies chatted and laughed about.

I was the girls drinking their wines and truly enjoying themselves. I put my wine glass down after not liking the taste of it. I usually love this brand of wine so I don't know why it tastes so weird, the very thought of me drinking it makes me want to throw up.

I have tried to drink the same wine yesterday and the same thing happened. I asked the girls if the taste of the wine is odd, they all said it tastes fine so it's just me.

After we ate and chatted as a group, the kids went back to play. Liam and Lily once again were arguing so we had to separate them. Liam and Lily are pains in my ass. Some days they get alone like no body's business, and other days they are literally pulling each other's hair out. Cameron my poor baby is stuck in the middle. If it isn't Lily and Liam, it is lily and Cameron. I know all my babies love each other but I think they get tired of each other too. The twins and Liam are starting school soon so they would make other friends. Unfortunately the twins and Liam won't be going to the same kindergarten since they are going to live in different towns but I know my babies are still going to be family.

I see my brother and Calvin talk near the lake where the children are playing. Tom must have said something funny because Calvin threw his head back and laughed. It was a beautiful sight and I couldn't help but smile.

"Looks like bromance is back on"Amy comments staring at our mates.

"Well don't sound so happy"

Her head snapped to mine.

"Woman are you forgetting how those two were with each other? I just got my mate, I don't want to share him just yet"my best friend sulked.

I laughed at her silliness.

I was happy that they were back on. It was awkward and uncomfortable for everyone around.

I got up because I wanted to get myself a bottle of water. But I felt a wave of dizziness hit me suddenly that made me fall back on my seat.

Mi na gasped and asked me if I was alright. I brushed it off and told her I was okay, I probably need to drink water.

I attempted to get up again but I just fell back. All the girls attention was to me and they were so sweet getting all worried about me.

I was fine. It's just these past days, I have felt under the weather and I made sure to tell them that. Mi na gave me questioning look but I couldn't analysis it because another wave of dizziness hit me.

"Someone get her water!"Amy practically yelled.

Mia rushes to get water whilst Calvin rushes to me, my brother not far behind him.

"What happened?"he asked panic lacing his face.

"I'm fine. I just feel dizzy"I told him.

"You're not fine. You're pale"Mi na says.

I brush them off and try to get up again. Telling them I'm okay. No one believed me. Calvin arms were wrapped around me and it was a good thing too because everything turns black a second later.
