If you've ever read any other web serials, you might've noticed that authors get better with time (that is, their art or writing improves). Wutosama of Metaworld Chronicles noted that the first 20 chaps are always a mess. This is also the case with Apex Predator. The first two parts (ranging just under 30 chapters, or 161 pages) are absolutely subpar. While I have edited them as of 7-10-18, they require a rewrite, which is currently in the works but not complete. Sergeant Brandon Mc’Dew was an Airborne Ranger and a good one too. That is until he found that one mission that ended his career like so many other warriors before him. But instead of pearly gates or red flames Brandon awoke in a white room full of ugly green chairs and an image of his brain floating in a tube. The life he knew was a simulation to train rapid grown people. The universe he now finds himself in is a war torn far future where Humanity as dominated the stars. Enlisted against his better opinions he finds himself a fledgling Titan Jock in a minor noble House on a far off arm of the Milky Way. Brandon is stuck trying to survive in this new world. A world where 100 meter tall robots of war dominate the battlefield, Kings and Queens rule from thrones upon high, uncaring of the people beneath them, and expendable people can be grown in a tube to fight a war they know nothing about. ***Authors Note*** This is a MEch or MEcca based light LitRPG. There will be stat sheets, skills, and gear, however it will not be the primary focus of the story. This soul would eventually develop into a human with immeasurable power...but this story isn't about him its about a young boy who was thrust into this whole mess before anyone, and has to figure out how to be strong enough not to repeat the future. ----- The paper read Humanity's last stronghold has been breached under the text a picture of what he recognized as New York, and above it an odd date. “December 8th 2028” Tomb mumbled to himself in shock, “what am i doing 6 years from the present” As if the man had supernatural powers, he heard Tom “Going insane from mana, you crazy mage did you just realise it only took us 3 years to pulverize you fools” the man maniacally laughed. Then turning towards the tall man, he got serious and said “Kanna, if you had just surrendered yourself at first we would have made this takeover much quicker, but you” the man seethed with anger “you fought back, nothing is worse than humans standing together.” The LIT RPG elements have been planned for the future and will not be the main focus but more will be written I assume around chapter 10

He's good at the job. And unfortunately, he may just have to play an entirely different part for this tour package, because the would-be detective turned up dead before he had a chance to threaten them.
