《DIRTYBITCH》chapter five

Continuing chapter four..
I laid in bed while my body ached all over. Last night I was supposed to work, but ended up not going due to the shit with Ashley. Tonight might be a no show as well. My knuckles are swollen from pounding them hoes in the face. Kash thinks everything's settled but that's a lie. We will forever have animosity towards one another. This bitch ain't only fuck my man she had his first seed. "I'll be back" Kash said leaning in pecking my cheek. I rolled my eyes at him and watched him leave out. I'm lowkey pissed off at Kash too. That shit Ashley said wasn't a lie. I bet she still is fucking him but just know? If I find out Kash is still out there on bullshit. I'm done for real and this time I'm serious. My heart can only take so much.
I forced myself out of bed and went to the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and took a quick shower. Once out I started on my hair. I decided to put my hair in a sleek top-not bun. All I needed to do now is my edges and throw on something comfy. I went looking under the cabinet for my edge control and noticed the wall looked as if it's been cut open. "The fuck" I mouthed pulling the wall piece to the side. My eyes grew wide. Kash had hella pounds of weed stored in the wall. "He can't be serious" I said to myself shaking my head. When the police kicked our first apartment door in, Kash promised me he wouldn't keep any more drugs in the house. That's where my charges came from. If it wasn't for me taking those drug charges for Kash he would still be in jail as of today. I got up and stormed out the bathroom. I grabbed my phone and called Kash's phone. It went straight to voicemail twice so I sent him a text. I put my life on the line for this man and for him to do the same stupid shit is simply selfish. I grabbed a trash bag and made my way back to the bathroom. I threw everything that was in the wall in the bag. I quickly finished getting dressed and drug the bag down the steps to the front door. I was so mad I literally sat on the couch and waited for Kash to walk through the door. Seconds turned into minutes and minutes turned into hours. Call me crazy, but you would think my attitude would of eased up by now. Then again I'll be lien if I said it did. I checked my phone and the time read 3:30 am. I went to dial Kash's number again, but then I seen a flash of light through the living room window. I quickly jumped to my feet and met Kash at the door. Before he could even key in I swung the door open. "Why you ain't answer none of my calls" I said. He looked at me like I lost my mind. "Damn can I get in the house first before you start questioning a nigga" he said trying to be smart. I stepped to the side and he stepped in. He was gone lock the door but I stopped him. "There's no need to lock the door your about to step back out" I said grabbing the bag. "I ain't going nowhere Nina and you been smoking or something" He asked. No cap this weed was loud and you could definitely smell it. "Hell no I wasn't smoking I was in the bathroom doing my hair when I noticed under the cabinet the wall looked like it was failing apart" I said. He gave me a look. "So you decided to move my shit into a trash bag and put it by the front door like it's trash?" He said snatching the bag from me. "I sho'll did because you know this is a no go for me Kash. You promised me you wouldn't ever bring anymore drugs into our home" I explained. He smacked his lips. "You wouldn't even known it was here if yo ass wasn't being nosey" He said checking me. "Nosey my ass nigga because of you I'm in the system" I yelled. "You know what's up as soon as I moved back in this shit should of been gone" I added pointing to the bag. It was literally over 50 bags of weed in that damn wall. "You wasn't here when I put it there how did I know you was gone find it Nina" he said. "I just ain't have the time to move it out Nina" he added. "Kash that's the thing it shouldn't have even made it in the house PERIOD" I said rolling my neck. "I understand that, but at the same time I had no other choice, but to keep em here baby. You really think I'm a really go against my word?" He asked. The look I have told it all. He said he would never cheat then he cheated. "You for real right now or you joking" I said. He smacked his lips. "You know what I mean man damn you be doing to much at the wrong times like it's almost 4 in the morning and you want me to take a bag of dope to the trap" He said shaking his head. "You scared of it being here shit I'm scared to ride with this shit" he admitted. "How can you blame me Kash them people ran in our home no warning no nothing! Our home was destroyed and our privacy was invaded. They had guns in our fucking faces that's scary" I said holding back my tears. I remember it like it was yesterday that shit caught us off guard fasho. We were having sex and next thing you know we was butt-ass naked stretched out on the floor in hand cuffs. You hear about polices running in people houses all the time and me looking in on the outside. I'm like "it's not that bad" then it happened to me. That humbled me quickly. "And I'm forever sorry for my mistakes Nina, but I can't move this tonight unless you want a nigga doing life" he said staring me in my eyes. "I promise first thing in the morning it's gone" he added putting the bag in the living room closet.

I nodded my head and walked up stairs.
I'm not even mad anymore.
I'm more on the disappointed side.
Not just of Kash but myself.
Why? because I know I'm a-fool in love and I continue to love someone who lets me down. I just really hope he changed his ways for real this time cause of right now he's giving me the same ol Kash.

At The Lions Gate
In the 20th century America reinvented itself. Devastated by depression, scarred by war, rocked by a revolution, Americans banded together to preserve their country and their freedom. They had faith in themselves, faith in one another, and for those who believed…faith in God. This novel tells the story of one American who lived through those turbulent years….years that would test his character and the character of a nation. For Josh Sanders it begins in 1935. A star athlete in school, pro football is a ticket out of poverty during the Great Depression; but when his father, a WWI veteran, is killed during a robbery, Josh’s spirit is broken, and with it his boyhood dream. To honor his father Josh joins the war effort in 1942, distinguishing himself as a fighter pilot, until a fateful decision near the end of the war changes the course of his life once again. But many years later, after a stint as a boxer and a failed marriage, Josh finds his calling…at a time when the country is at war with itself. The year is 1968. King and Kennedy have been killed, race riots are breaking out, and Vietnam has become an albatross, causing massive protests across the country. In the streets of San Francisco Josh watches a crowd of students march for peace. As a veteran he’s conflicted, toward the war and those who oppose it. But when he encounters Rosy Goldin, a spirited young protester in need of help, a voice from the past calls him to action. His good intentions are soon tested when Rosy falls in love with the fugitive anti-war activist Erick White, a young man determined to oppose the war at all costs, against the wishes of his own father. Fearful of what happens to Rosy, Josh confronts Erick, unwilling to be part of his plan to escape…until he meets the boy’s father. A high-powered criminal attorney, Karl White is also a flag-waving patriot demanding that his son follow the law. But as White makes his case Josh is jolted by a painful war-time memory, a crisis of conscience that will soon determine the fate of Rosy Goldin and Erick White.
