"So you seem like you know how to party." The girl, Clary, I was tattooing says suddenly. "Am I right?"
"You're not wrong." I tell her wiping down her arm. "What about it?"
"There's a new club in Seattle. My family owns it, you should come down one day." She tells me.
"I'm 18." I tell her smiling at the look of shock. "Can't get into clubs quite yet."
"I thought you were at least 23."
"Nope." I tell her. "We're almost done for today then you come back in three weeks and we'll do the color."
"I'm sorry 18? I was flirting with you." She says coving her face with her hand.
"I realized." I say shrugging. "Doesn't matter you're not my type. Plus despite my intense mommy issues older women don't do it for me."
She laughs and I smile.
"Alright we'll still come check it out. It's a good place to vibe."
"18." I remind her.
"Then you just can't drink. Tell your friends too."
"Maybe one day." I tell her. "Take a look."
-
"I fucking hate Christmas shopping." I say following Bella, Vivian and Conner through the mall. "Please spare me this torture and end me."
They ignore me and I sigh following them into a fucking shoe store that doesn't have Docs. So you know ugh. Lucky Alex got to get free having to babysit her kid brother.
"What do you think of these Cel?" Bella asks waving a pair of shoes in air like she just don't care. Ha.
"Black basic. Perfect. Can we go home now?" I tell her smiling a fake smile that would make Regina George proud.
"Stop being such a grinch you old bitch." Conner says. "It's the best time of the year."
"Wrong. The only good thing about Christmas is Coquito and Emily's cookies."'
"You drink so much I'm surprised your liver still works." Viv says.
"Not true she's only a social drinker and even then I've never seen her do more than like 2 shots and cocktail and beer." Bella says defending me. "She says it makes her tummy hurt."
"Don't mock me Isabella." I say pointing at her. "Besides I figured I've done enough substance abuse in my life."

"True. Did you get mom a gift yet?"
"I gave her the freedom of her lifelong dream of no longer taking care of kids she shouldn't have had by bringing us here. There done." I tell her swinging my feet. "I want ice cream."
"It's 12 degrees outside."
"Well then it's a good thing we're inside isn't Bella boo." I say jumping up. "I'll be back."
-
"Let's go! I refuse to be late." I shout up the stairs to my dad and Bella who are being very inconsiderate at this moment. Mother fuckers. "I'll leave you here!"
"Oh no. It's almost as of your the only person who has a car and can drive us." Dad says coming down the stairs. "Oh wait."
"Now is not the time for sass old man." I tell him wagging my finger at him. "Isabella Marie Swan bring your ass downstairs before I drag you down!"
"Calm your tits!" She calls before coming downstairs. "God you're so dramatic. Let's go."
"Finally." We walk out the house and I open Ruby. "Youngest in the back." Bella rolls her eyes but gets in. "Alright hoes let's go." I turn up whatever music is playing, newsflash it's Jared's choice, Love songs. I sing along softly as I speed towards the Rez. I pull into Emily's driveway and cut the engine.
"I'm never getting in a car with you again." Dad says getting out of the car. "That's a 20 minute drive, it took you 5."
"What can I say I'm efficient." I say openeding the trunk and pulling out the bags of presents. "Close this for me."
"As you wish your majesty." He grumbles and closes the trunk. "Alright let's go." The three of us walk right into the house which is packed to the brim with werewolves, soon to be werewolves, the elders and now all the imprints and some extras. Plus the tree and presents, sheesh. Thank god someone had sense and opened the window.
"What up filthy animals!" I yell bouncing into the house. "Hello hello." I walk around giving hugs.
"Here give me." Sam says taking the bags of presents and starts arranging them around the tree. I walk away and go sit on Leah's lap.

"Banned from the kitchen Already?" I ask her.
"What can I say." Leah said leaning back in her seat. "I'm just that good." I laughed and watched as the boys tried and failed to sneak peaks at the gifts and who they were for. "What'd you get me?"
"Your girlfriend."
"Fair enough." She says smiling.
"Ay look at you all in love and shit." I say leaning my head on her head. "Disgusting. The two gross how happy you all are." I say looking around at everyone. "Gross."
"You are such a sad case." Paul says tapping my head with his knuckles. "Don't worry if all else fails there's Jared."
"Ew." Me and Jared say at the same time and turn to look at him.
"Oh I'm sorry. Am I not good enough for you child?" I ask turning to look at him.
"I am a man!"
"Your voice still cracks bitch." I say and he pulls me into a headlock. "Ew your getting cooties on me." I say trying to get him off me, everyone laughs as they watch us roll around. "Ewwwwww."
"I will ground you all!" Emily shouts from the kitchen making Jared let go of me. I slap him upside the head.
"She hit me!"
"Prove it child." I say sticking my tongue out. "Bitch." I stage whisper.
"Enough you two. Seriously." Sam says looking down at us with his frowny face.
"Sorry old man." I mutter.
-
"That's so gay!" Paul says tearing up as he looks at his gift. "Get away from me."
"Love you too fag." I say bumping shoulders with him as everyone continues opening gifts.
-
"Wake up its Christmas." Bella yells jumping on my bed. "Come on let's go see what Santa brought us."
"Bella you haven't believed in Santa in like 10 years." I say pulling pillow over my face. "You're gonna fall."
"Can't hear you. Come on get up." She says finally done jumping and plopping down on me. "Come on we need to make breakfast and cookies."
"Fine." I say getting up. "I should beat you with this pillow." I say shaking it at her. "Asshole." I go to do hygiene things cause I'm not the dirty little mole rat that lives in Edgars shitty wig.
"Yay let's go." She says skipping and almost falling down the stairs. Some things will never change.
-
"Alright alright here old man." I say handing him his gifts. I lean back onto Bella's legs because I'm being weird and sitting on the floor. "Merry Christmas." He waste no time opening them.
"How'd you know?" He asks liking through the new tackle box I go him. His old one from when I was once a tiddly toddler broke but he didn't want to splurge.
"Magic, obviously." I say smiling. "I'm just that good." I also got a bunch of the new fancy little bait things that are sparkly.
"Or she has eyes." Bella whispers to him and I smack her leg. "Abuse."
"Not the human kind." I say smiling as dad opens the second gift. The better one if you ask me seeing as it was handmade and it has my face on it.
"It's beautiful." He says.
"Thanks." I say smiling. It's a family portrait of the three of us, obviously, on the couch. Gave me some real back pain to paint it.
"Aright my turn then. Close your eyes both of you." I nod and close my eyes and hear him walk away. It's mostly silent except for. The soft Christmas music from the kitchen radio. Eventually he comes back and then he puts a box on my lap. "Alright open." I listen and pull open the box.
"Puppy!" I say and pull said puppy out of the box. "Oh my goodness you're so cute. Bella look." I turn to see Bella holding a Kitten. "Aw look at them." I say.
"He's a Saint Bernard. You gotta name him. And this little lady is a Maine Coon. Also needs a name." Dad says.
"I shall name you Achilles and you shall be mine." I say holding him up to my face and he licks me. "I think he likes it."
"I'll name her Athena." Bella says after looking at the cat for a while. "I'm think it fits."
"Thanks dad." I say standing and giving his a kiss on the cheek. "Look Achilles, it's grandpa."
"I've made a mistake." Dad says and Bella and I laugh at him. Yes he did.

Shades of the Moon
I'm rewriting this story! I have taken down Arc 2 and Arc 3 already to avoid spoiling my new novel. The only reason I'm keeping the first 10 chapters is nostalgia; the writing is awkward and the story is not plotted out properly, but it's here if anyone wants to compare it to the new one. If you'd like to read a more professionally written version of this story, I highly suggest checking out my Synergy. Synopsis version too-many-to-count: “I see,” Kiona said. “But . . . you’re changing once again, aren’t you?” The entity considered her question, lifting a clawed hand towards the night sky. They observed the back of their hand idly, watching the glowing orange veins pulse alongside their pitch-black exoskeleton. The wind picked up right then, and Kiona shivered—just as much from the cold as from the savage grin on the creature's face. “That’s right,” the entity said, clenching their hand slowly into a fist. They let out a quiet laugh, staring defiantly at the Moon as it rose from behind the clouds. “We are shades, yet not exactly. Not like the others. Here, in this world, we've become something more. We are the Shades of the Moon.” There was a heartbeat of silence, during which Kiona joined the entity in their skygazing. The light-green Moon loomed over the city, shining like the entity's eyes. It promised otherworldly knowledge and terrible secrets. It promised progress. It promised change. In that moment, Kiona couldn't have imagined anything more beautiful. “Shades of the Moon, huh?” she said, smiling a bit. It had a nice ring to it.

Reborn A Paladin: The Dagger Of Shadows
Mirio awakes in a strange place, surrounded by shadows, and an overwhelming hesitation about opening his eyes. A voice speaks to him in the darkness and it awakens a hidden power within him, launching him onto the path of becoming a Paladin, and towards something more. It is a semi-realistic take on being reborn and how that might feel like. It is meant to be immersive and to help you feel what it really might mean to be reborn with powers you really don't understand. The character is somewhat of a power fantasy but not outrageously so. And it is not a harem manga, but you will see some very cool things with waifu's at some point, but it must be earned!I present to you, this story for you enjoyment. Please help me make it all it can be and more. For a full size image of the cover click here
