《WILD CHILD • Emmett Cullen》I Was Gonna Eat That

We all stood against my car and watched as Bella lead Edgar into the woods. I shook my head a little and took some gummy bears from Conner. I looked over and saw Rosalie glaring at the spot where the two disappeared into.
"Is he gonna eat her?" Conner whispered.
"I doubt it, Celeste would kill him." Alex said back as the four started to walk into the building.
"Damn right I would." I said as we went to Vivians locker. "So any news in any of your love lives?"
"Logan asked me on a date." Vivian said. "It's Friday."
"Just know I will kill him for you." I told her. "Where are you guys going?"
"Don't know said it was a surprise." She said shrugging. Conner and I oooed while Alex made kissy faces at her. "Enough you children." She said shaking her head at us. "It's just one date."
"And then there's two." I said.
"Then three." Alex continued.
"Then your official." Conner said.
"Then your engaged." I added.
"Then married." Alex cooed.
"Then children." Conner said poking her stomach.
"And where did it all start?" I ask. "With one date."
"You went on one date with Cullen so you're in the same boat." Viv says pointing at me.
"Don't change the subject." I said pointing right back at her. "Besides I don't believe in marriage or want kids."
"I how can you not believe in marriage."
"My mother that's how. She's also the reason I don't want kids." I say shrugging. "Besides kids are always sticky or loud." Vivian laughed and dragged Conner down the hall while waving at Alex and I. We continued on our way slowly towards history.
"Do you trust Edward?" Alex asked.
"No, but I trust that he's smart enough to know better than to hurt my sister." She nods and we walk into class. "Don't fall asleep." I warn and go sit next to Emmett.

"Good Morning." He said as I slide into my seat.
"I already saw you this morning." I said, he had jumped through my window and offered Alex and I a ride to school, I declined, I don't like to be in cars that I don't drive. "But good morning Emmett." He leaned over and gave me small kiss before pulling back and smiling. "Don't do that." I said trying to hide the blush he caused.
"Really don't it's gross." Alex said from her seat where she turned to face us. "Don't become that couple."
"Blah blah blah." I responded and she shook her head and turned away.
"So you're sister knows."
"I would've told you but I felt it's best to leave Edgar as unprepared as possible."
"Cruel women." He says shaking his head.
- couple days time skip
"Hey I need help." Bella says walking into my room, in just her towel.
"What's up?"
"I don't know what to wear to meet the Cullens." She says plopping down face first onto my bed.
"Well clothes would be a start." She hits my leg. "Bella you don't have to dress up, most of them go to school with you."
"I want to make a good impression." I shake my head, too sweet.
"Alright alright, I'll go look in your closet." I get up and hear her mutter a thank you. Time to raid Bella's closet. I start shifting through the closet, our styles could not be anymore different. I pull two outfits and start looking through her shoes. I find her brand new white converse she got before we moved and bingo.
"Okay here are your options." I say throwing the outfits on her. "Why is a knee length kaki skirt the only skirt you own?"
"It's cute." She says shrugging. No no it's not. But to each their own. "So I guess you think I should go with the pants."

"Yes, keep it simple." I tell her she nods and starts to get dressed while I get an outfit because Emmett says Esme is cooking Italian food and I will not miss that. "You look nice." She's staring at herself in the mirror.
"Okay cool." I smile at her awkwardness. "Edward said he's coming at 1, if you want a ride."
"No thanks I'm gonna drive there early to bother Calvin."
"Do you think they'll like me?"
"Yes Bella, except maybe Rosalie, she doesn't like anyone."
"She likes you."
"Like is strong, I would say tolerate." I pull on my jacket. "Besides it doesn't matter what she thinks as long as your happy. You are happy correct?"
"Yes Celestial I am happy."
"Good, if he makes you unhappy let me know. I'll kill him." I say smiling at her. "Now I'm leaving, see you at the house." She waves as I walk out.
-
"Is she even Italian?" I here Rose ask, Calvin came out to let me in before I even parked.
"Her names Bella." And that would be Emmett, Calvin laughs a little and I shake my head.
"We're not Italian." I say as I walk into the kitchen to see them cooking hella food. "Smells good." I tell Esme and Carlisle who smile at me. "Why would her name make us Italian?" I ask Emmett who shrugs with a giant knife in his hand. "You trust him with a knife?" I ask Esme.
"Hey I'm trustworthy." He says.
"Not with a knife the size of my face." I say pointing at him. I walk over to his side to see what he's doing with said giant knife. He's chopping up lettuce and throwing it into the bowl Rosalie's holding.
"Get a whiff of that." Calvin said jumping up from the stool he was perched on.
"Here comes the human." Esme said, wiping her hands before going to wait at the entrance or the kitchen.
"I feel like I should be offended." I whisper to Emmett who laughs and pokes me. I watch as Bella and Edwin walk in the kitchen. Emmett waves with his knife. "Put it down." I tell him, this man is a hazard. A glass shatters, I look up to see Rosalie stepping towards Bella, the bowl of salad on the floor. I was gonna eat that.
"What did I miss?" I whisper to myself as Calvin goes up to attempt to calm his wife.
"Bella ate at home." Emmett whispers to me.
"Damn it, shouldn't have left her alone." He laughs again and I hear Bella mention us being snacks. "No Bella."
"Hi Bella." Saved my Alice and a cowboy. She goes over and hugs Bella. "Oh you do smell good." Edward looks at Alice. "Don't worry Bella and I will be great friends, I've seen it." I shake my head again and Emmett smiles at me.
"Hello Bella, nice to meet you." Jasper says standing a good 5 feet away.
"Don't worry Jas you won't hurt her." Way to make it weirder Alice. Not that the situation needed it.
"Okay we're going upstairs." I roll my eyes at Edgar. We watch as they walk out of the room.
"Clean this up." Esme says to Rosalie, who huffs and picks it up. "Celeste are you hungry?"
"Always." I say grinning at her. "What are they doing up there anyway?"
"Dancing to Edwards one true loves music." Calvin said. "Beethoven."
"Boring." I say as Esme puts a plate in front of me. "Thank you."

Yin-Yang
Mages in North America seem to have it all – typically from well-off families, and able to manipulate their environment in ways most of the world would never believe. They don’t even have to bother with the mundane details of life like housework, thanks to their sensitives, who also make a useful source for extra magical energy. After all, sensitives have no use for it themselves, and if mages weren’t meant to make use of it, then the sensitives would obviously have some way to prevent that. That a mage can transform a sensitive physically, with no restrictions beyond overall mass and basic biological viability, whereas magic tends not to work directly on any other living thing, is only further proof. And look at the way they live on their own, barely a step above animals. It’s better for them to belong to a mage. Sensitives in North America live on the edge of society and survival – typically so paranoid they avoid hospitals and anything else that could lead to being tracked, many of them with little or no education and no legal identity or existence. Mages exist, and mages want sensitives for some reason, but no one ever comes back to explain what that reason is. Waiting every day for the hunters to notice them doesn’t lead to much motivation or hope for the future. And once they’re captured, they’re the property of someone with a terrifying amount of power over them. Anything is better than capture. Mages are born to be the masters, and sensitives are born victims. Or are they? Jax’s life is turned upside-down when he’s caught by the hunters and sold to a mage. Andreas is still mourning for his previous sensitive, though, unconsciously creating a difficult standard for Jax to live up to, all the more so while still struggling to come to terms with this new reality as Andreas’ sensitive. A runaway sensitive isn’t what Van expects at the mental health centre. Is this a hunter trap, set for him and the rest of the Donovan family by the hunters? The hunters would, after all, love to see them cross the line openly and finally do something they can be charged with. Either way, Miranda’s genuinely in trouble, and he can’t just abandon her to it. Snatching a sensitive out from under the hunters and hiding her is odd behaviour for a mage – but then, Catherine is an odd mage, living in disgrace in the old servants’ quarters of her grandmother’s house, responsible for cooking and housework. Lila owes Catherine her freedom; is there a way to help Catherine achieve her own, and at what price? Tension is building between traditionally-minded mages and those advocating change, and something has to break. *** Yin-Yang includes a small amount of profanity and no graphic sex or on-screen physical violence. However, sex and gender roles and relationships within the mage/sensitive subculture are non-traditional in mainstream North American terms. The key criterion in a primary relationship is not relative sex or gender, but the pairing of mage and sensitive; given the transformation of sensitives by their mages, physical sex is non-absolute for a sensitive, and gender identity can vary as in anyone else. *** *** The way mages treat sensitives is extremely varied and, in some cases is outright abusive. The struggle against that is pretty much the point of the book. It is NOT grimdark or misery-porn! However, if you will be triggered by this, please, don't read Yin-Yang! *** Complete stand-alone novel, 153K words! Also available on Scribble Hub and as a free ebook.

The DreamWalker Series
Ellette's dreams are unnaturally real. For years she has found them to be the perfect escape, the solution to a life that has been, at times, a nightmare. When she comes across a man from a dream in her waking life, he turns out to be just that; a dream come true. With finding him, she is forced to realize that her dreams overlap into reality, sometimes in frightening ways. The Dreamwalker Series was written as a number of short stories. Several of the stories are quite old so the writing style and mood of the pieces may shift in between each title. Some stories are flash fiction, and so may seem rather brief and abrupt. This story will be uploaded in a non-linear format.
