《Buffy and Spike》47- Tower of Terror

The gang left the house and we went on the hunt to where Angelus was staying. It was dark and there were hardly any street lights on which seemed strange.
The door to Angelus' house was open, wide open like it was welcoming us in, into a big trap.
I pulled Willow back by the arm knowing she would be silly enough to waltz into anything that could possibly save Tara.
'It's a trap can't you see?' Spike told her
'Sorry' Willow mumbled
Spike pulled Willow away from me so I could investigate Angelus' house.
'I'm scared' I heard Willow tell Spike
'I know, but it will be okay' he replied
I smiled, Spike was such a good guy.
I snuck into Angelus' house and the whole place had been thrown upside down. Everything was a mess and many things were broken.
'Guys I think someone got here before us' I told them
'What?' Giles asked
'Yeah the place is a mess'
'BUFFY' someone yelled
'What?' I jumped 'Xander?' I asked
'Buffy come quick it's important' Xander blurted out
'What's wrong?' Buffy asked as Xander pulled her along by the arm.
'Angelus has Tara and he's threatening to throw her off a building' he explained
'WHAT?!' Willow yelled.
The gang followed Xander to the building that had people swarming at the bottom. News reporters were filming and waving microphones in the air trying to catch any word he might say. He was holding Tara over the edge, her feet still on the ledge.
'Ah Buffy you're here!' He called down
'Let her go!' I yelled back
'Hm okay!' He smirked letting her go a little bit, for a split second she was falling, but he grabbed her pulling her back. I heard Willow squeal.

'What do you want?!' I shouted
'I'll let you figure that out!'
'What could he possibly want?' Xander asked
'I don't know what have we done to him?' Willow asked
'The book' Spike sighed 'we took his book'
'Book?' Willow laughed 'he's mad about a book?'
'Oh, it's a magic book, and it actually belongs to you Willow'
'Oh! That book! That's where it has been! Guys that book contains magic'
'Yeah that's kind of what a magic book is Willow' Xander chuckled
'No it actually has magical powers in it, whoever uses it obtains the magical powers. Like even Buffy could or Spike, but it doesn't last forever. He needs the book back because he has no power'
'So we can defeat him?' Spike smirked
'Yeah but we need Tara back!' Willow pleaded
'That's why his house was a mess, someone didn't beat us too it, it was him looking for the book' Giles explained
'What do we do? If we tried to trick him he would know' Spike told us
'I've got an idea' Willow smiled.
