Y/N sped to the waterfront and was met there by none other than Eobard Thawne. He was standing there looking up at the pulse being sent into the sky. Then he turned to see Y/N arrive.
"Is this why you need me?" Y/N asked approaching him. She gestured to the device created the pulse that would be the end of her....or so they all thought.
"This no, you are destined to save the multiverse from destruction, but I'm tired of waiting for that to happen naturally. I'm simply just speeding the process along," he said giving her a villainous smirk.
"What happens if I stop you before that happens," Y/N said walking towards him, electricity sparking in her eyes.
"No, I wouldn't do that. You see, that pulsar is connected to my vitals, even the tiniest spike will make it power on automatically." He let out a laugh, "You couldn't stop me then, you can't stop me now."
Then Barry raced to the waterfront, he found Y/N and Thawne both talking. Barry wondered why she hadn't attacked yet. Barry's anger that Thawne would strip him of Y/N took over and he ran at him and tackled him to the ground.
"No!" Y/N yelled as she raced at Barry, but she wasn't fast enough.
They both looked up to see the pulsar turning on. It sent ripples throughout the sky, the ground began to shake.
"Barry, you just sealed your fiance's death. Who's the villain now?" Thawne said as he got up. Barry was angered by that statement and punched Thawne out cold.
"What, what does he mean Y/N?" Barry asked turning to face Y/N as she looked up the device.
"It was synced to his vitals, you knocking him down caused his vitals to surge, thus powering up the machine," Y/N said still looking up at it; tears forming in her eyes.

"Oh God, Y/N," Barry said turning to face her. "Let me fix this, let me save the multiverse, you can save this city better than I can."
"That's where you're wrong Barry, you are going to be the one to save this city, and something tells me I'm gonna come back to you."
"What? How would you know that?"
"Barry, there is a prophecy of you dying, and being reborn. Somehow I help in that process, I don't know how, and I won't know until it happens, but it hasn't happened yet so that means I'm still around when it does happen." Y/N said looking into Barry's eyes.
"How do you know all this Y/N?" Barry asked looking at her skeptical of what she was saying.
"I know a lot Barry, the speedforce has shown me a lot," Y/N said. The ground began shaking again, Y/N pulled on her mask getting ready to fulfill her prophecy. Barry gripped her shoulders to talk to her and get some answers before she was gone.
"Why do you know so much about the speedforce?" Barry asked. He was desperate for an answer.
"Because Barry, I created it...and you helped me," Y/N said; electricity sparked in her eyes.
Then she sped off into a portal. Barry was left there like an astronaut stranded on the moon...alone.
