"No, no, no" Luke said and rushed into the living room, pulling Leon away from the white wall. Leon looked up at his father in confusion as Luke took the black sharpie away from Leon's small hand.

"You can't draw on the walls, bud. Paper is fine, walls are not" Luke said as he reached for a piece of paper before handing both the paper and the pen back to his son.

Leon took the things and sat down on the floor of the living room, immediately starting to move the pen around the paper.

Leon had just learned how to write his own name, and the small toddler now wrote it everywhere he could. To Luke it was adorable, really, but the fact that Leon wrote it all over the place was a slight problem for the father.

Just the other day, Luke had gone through the bills and found the electric bill covered in in black inc and crooked letters forming Leon's name. The e the other way around and the n always in capital.

Luke had to call the electricity company and pay the bill that way because he couldn't see a single thing on the paper.

Luke walked into the kitchen and looked at the badly wrapped present that was lying on the table. He glanced at the colorful birthday card before taking it between his fingers and walked back to the living room.

"Bud, you should write your name on the birthday card so Sophie knows the gift is from you" Luke said and handed the card to Leon who happily took it.

"Okay, only one time though" Luke said quickly and pealed Leon away from the card when he was about to write his name once again.

Leon smiled up at his father before going back to jabbing the sharpie against the paper on the floor once again.

Luke smiled back but turned his head to the door right after as two different knocks were heard. One light and one more firm.

Luke smiled and walked over to the apartment door, opening it and immediately having a small body wrapped around his knees.

"Hi Luke" the small sandy-blond girl said while looking up at Luke with big green eyes.

"Hey cutie" he answered back and chuckled when the small girl ran into the living room, sitting beside Leon and watching him write on the filled paper.

"No, don't run in with your shoes" Ashton said but ended up being a mumble when seeing his daughter paid no attention to his words whatsoever. Luke grinned as Ashton looked up at him.

"Hi Luke" Ashton said and laughed softly at the content grin on the blonde's face.

"Hey cutie" Luke said and stepped closer to Ashton and placed his hands on the older boys cheeks.

"No, you can't call me the same thing as you call my daughter, absolutely not" Ashton said and smiled slightly when Luke leaned closer to him.

"Baby?" Luke suggested and raised an eyebrow while waiting for Ashton's answer.

"Do you call anyone else 'baby'?" Ashton asked and mimicked Luke's actions as he raised one eyebrow up himself.

Luke shook his head and grinned. "No, only you"

"Then it's okay" Ashton whispered and smiled before Luke leaned in the last few inches and pressed his lips on the curly boy's ones.

"I can't kiss you properly if you keep smiling like that" Luke mumbled against Ashton's lips. The older boy giggled lightly and Luke's body warmed up by the sound.

"Sorry, but I don't think we should make out while the kids are a few feet away" Ashton said and pulled away fully from Luke's lips. The blonde pouted childishly but straightened up when realizing Ashton was probably right.

Ashton rolled up the sleeve of his jacket slightly before taking up his phone from his pocket, looking at the time.

"We should probably go soon if we want them to get there in time" Ashton said and nodded over towards the two toddlers.

Luke turned his head the same way and widened his eyes when seeing Leon about to draw on the wooden floor in the living room.

The young father used his long legs to his advantage and sprinted into the living room, picking Leon up from the floor and gently swiping the pen out of the toddlers hold.

"I'll have to start letting you use crayons instead" Luke mumbled while Leon smiled happily in his arms.

"Okay, you got your gifts?" Ashton asked as Luke and him stepped onto the porch of the fancy looking suburban house, the toddlers leading the way. Both toddlers held up their gifts in the air and Ashton nodded in confirmation.

Peach ran over to the door and knocked on with her tiny hand, Leon doing just the same as he saw his friend doing it. The toddlers waited and Luke smiled because there was no way anyone inside that loud house could hear those small knocks.

Luke stepped forward and knocked loudly enough for anyone inside to react. He stepped back and stood beside Ashton, gently placing a hand on the older boy's lower back. Ashton smiled.

"You have a fly on your dress" Leon said and pointed down at the skirt of the white and blue striped dress Peach was wearing. Peach looked down at her skirt and widened her eyes in interest.

Leon walked forward and reached one hand out but the fly on the little girl's dress was long gone before Leon was even close to catching it.

Both Luke and Ashton chuckled at the sight of their children's big confused eyes as they were looking all around for where the fly had gone.

The laughs were interrupted when the door opened by another toddler, gently hitting both Peach and Leon, making them fall back on their bums.

"Oops" Ashton said and walked towards them to help both toddlers stand up on their feet again. Luke was still standing a few steps back, biting his lip to try to not laugh.

He couldn't laugh at his own son falling, even though it may have looked comical.

"Hi" the small brunette girl in the door said and smiled at her friends. Before Luke and Ashton could even react, the three toddlers were running into the house without a goodbye.

"Well, that's how much we mean to them" Ashton said and Luke chuckled as he shook his head.

Luke took Ashton's hand in his after greeting Sophie's parents, and walked down the road. There was a nice silence around the suburb they were walking through and the way Ashton's fingers laced with Luke's made the blonde smile contently.

"So, what do you have planned for these 4 hours of free time?" Ashton asked and looked up at Luke. The blonde had his eyes focused on the road straight forward as he thought of an answer.

"I don't know, what do you want to do?" Luke answered soon after. He stopped when Ashton stopped and tugged at his hand. Luke turned around and looked at Ashton with furrowed eyebrows.

Ashton smiled, dimples full on show and he stepped over to Luke and placed his arms around the younger's neck. "I really want you to kiss me. Properly now, that is"

Luke smiled bashfully and placed his hands on Ashton's hips. "I can do that" Luke said before dipping his head down and attached his lips to Ashton's.

Both were smiling at first, but soon pouted their lips out, making the kiss soft and deep. Ashton tilted his head to the side and twirled his fingers into the hair at the back of Luke's neck.

Luke hummed softly, opening his mouth slightly and took Ashton's bottom lip between his, sucking gently.

Ashton sighed heavily into the kiss and put a bit more pressure to Luke's lips before pulling away, smiling brightly up at the blonde.

"Thank you" He said before intertwining his fingers with Luke's again.

"You're welcome," Luke said and smiled back down at Ashton before adding the newborn nickname, "Baby"

"Don't you ever get tired of this?" Ashton asked as he peered over Luke's shoulder as he stood by the stove.

"Tired of cooking pasta?" Luke asked.

Ashton rolled his eyes playfully. "No. I mean, tired of cooking in general? You do it for work and you do it at home"

"And now I have to do it for you as well since you have no knowledge in flavors whatsoever" Luke said and Ashton playfully slapped his arm.

"Can you take out the cream sauce from the fridge?" Luke asked and Ashton nodded, walking over to the refrigerator.

"Do you want me to get you anything else, chef?" Ashton asked as he placed the sauce on the counter. Luke looked at him and smiled genuinely, shaking his head 'no'.

"This has to stand for about 8 minutes, so there're nothing to do really" Luke said as he moved the sauce to the other ingredients for later.

"Okay" Ashton answered and nodded his head. He ran a hand through his jaw-length hair with those thick honey curls that Luke had grown very fond of. Luke watched every move the 24 year old did, and soon smiled when knowing just that attractive 24 year old was his boyfriend.

"Have you told Peach about us?" Luke asked after a while of silence. Ashton was now seated on the kitchen table, reading the cover of a magazine Luke assumed was Calum or Michael's because the blonde had never ever heard the name of that magazine.

Ashton looked up at Luke and placed the magazine to the side. His smiled gently as he shook his head. "No, thought I'd keep it between us until we knew this would be something real. Something serious, I guess"

Luke bit down on his lip piercing and let the tip of his tongue play with it as he thought. "When do you know it's serious enough to tell your kid?"

Ashton looked up at the ceiling in thought before looking back down at Luke. "I guess you just feel it"

"Well," Luke said and slowly made his way over to Ashton. He carefully placed his hands on the older boy's thighs and stepped between his legs. Luke locked eyes with the honey-blond and maybe he had a tiny blush on his cheeks, he didn't know.

"I kind of already know this is serious. It is for me anyway, I want this to last" Luke said and made a hand motion between the two of them. Ashton looked down at Luke's hand and smiled soon, dimples popping out on both of his cheeks.

"Good, because I feel the same way" Ashton spoke up softly, still that warm smile spread on his face. Luke smiled as well because, well, he was on a steady drive on the long road to falling in love.

And Luke couldn't wait until that day both him and Ashton reach the destination.

"Now you're just smiling at me again," Ashton said and laughed softly. Luke immediately dragged himself out of his thoughts and blushed when realizing he had probably just been staring at Ashton with a wide smile on his face.

Luke lowered his head in slight embarrassment, but it was quickly picked up by the chin as Ashton lifted it up, making Luke lock eyes with his pretty hazel-green ones.

"Don't do that," Ashton said and still held Luke's head up, "I like it when you smile at me. I like your smile very much"

Luke breathed out a bashful laugh and Ashton grinned. "And I really like this" Ashton said and traced his fingertips on the dimple Luke had on his right cheek.

Luke blushed and Ashton noticed the slight change of color on Luke's cheek. He enjoyed it very much though, because the blonde boy was unbelievably adorable when being flustered.

Even though 'adorable' wasn't the term Luke wanted to have himself described as, Ashton thought it fit him perfectly.

Luke thought the honey-blond with the thick curls, pretty eyes, gorgeous smile and personality literally like the sun itself, was unbelievably adorable as well.

"So," Ashton started as he kept his hand on Luke's cheek, "Are we gonna tell them? Or do we just let them figure out, since it seems like they already have"

Luke smiled fondly at the fact that the two toddlers already told themselves and others how their fathers were together.

"My mom and dad wants to meet you" Luke murmured out into the silent room.

"Really?" Ashton asked and raised his eyebrows up before smirking, "You've told them about me?"

Luke chuckled, "Actually no. It was Leon, he had talked about you and I quite a lot to my parents"

Ashton laughed that light and free laugh of his, and Luke felt all warm again.

"See?" Ashton said and looked into Luke's blue eyes, "We don't even have to tell the small ones, they seem to know more than we do anyway"

Luke laughed and Ashton grinned at the sound. Luke quieted down after a few seconds and smiled at Ashton before leaning in and kissing him softly.

It was always soft between the two young men. It was slow and soft because it brought more emotions into it all. Luke liked it, because one kiss filled with emotions was better than thousand meaningless ones.

Ashton breathed through his nose as he tangled his fingers into Luke's hair again. Luke stepped even closer to Ashton and circled his arms around the older boy's waist. They weren't really pressed chest to chest yet, but the way their breathing started to get heavier made their up and down moving chests brush time after time.

Ashton ran his tongue between Luke's lips, making the blonde part them right away. He let out a content noise as his tongue met Ashton's.

Ashton's tongue was soft and gentle, and Luke thought he tasted so good that he could easily go around and make out with him all day and all night.

Luke licked at the roof of Ashton's mouth, making the older boy let out an unexpected moan. Luke tightened the grip around Ashton after hearing him let out the most beautiful noise Luke has ever heart.

Ashton did the same, tightening the grip in Luke's hair and pulled his head down harder so their lips were pressed together more fiercely.

Ashton was the first one to pull away for much needed oxygen. Both fathers breathed heavily as they rested their forehead against each other.

Luke pulled away slightly and kissed Ashton's both cheeks, making the older boy smile and look up at the younger boy. Luke leaned down again to place kisses on the dimples on Ashton's cheeks.

Ashton laughed, ended up being a giggle, before taking Luke's face in his hands and pulling him down a bit so he could place a kiss on the tip on Luke's nose. Luke scrunched his face up a bit and Ashton sighed out at the adorableness.

Luke was just about to lean in again to place his lips on Ashton's, when the sound of water hitting a burning hot stove was heard through the kitchen.

Luke pulled away from Ashton and cursed under his breath when seeing the pasta boiling over. Plus, it had boiled about 5 minutes to long, making the shell-formed pastas look soggy and malformed.

"This is the first time in my life that I have failed making pasta" Luke said as he looked up from the sauce pan and placed his eyes on Ashton who smiled amusingly.

"I think your bad cooking skills are rubbing off on me" Luke said and Ashton laughed.

"Are you gonna break up with me now then?" Ashton asked and pouted before breaking out in a slight smirk.

"If me becoming a worse chef during this relationship, I'll take it" Luke said before walking over to the giggling Ashton and kissed him again.
